Im Looking For A Way To Re Pierce My Belly Button At Home.

How do i pierce my belly button at home?

These people are right.........but I pierced my own bellybutton and I am completely fine. Buy what's called a hollow needle, make sure its a 14 guage because that's a standard barbell size. It looks like a normal needle only you can see through it. That's because it clears the skin out as you push it through. Make sure you clean the needle with alcohol before you begin. Also, clean around the bellybutton..even inside. If you want you can use an ice cube to numb it but it makes it hard to push the needle through. When you're pushing the needle through, watch out for your fingers so you don't poke yourself. It is easier to stand up when getting it pierced too. As far as pain goes, yes it will hurt. I mean, you're putting a whole in your skin. It doesn't hurt really bad though. It's more of a burning feeling. After it's pierced clean your bellybutton a couple times a day with peroxide. Peroxide will kill all the bacteria without it burning like alcohol does. Also, you can take the piercing out after a couple weeks or until it doesn't hurt anymore. It does take about 1 year for it to completely heal though. Good luck!

What are some tips for piercing the belly button at home?

Don’t. I don’t know where you live but there are almost certainly licensed, professional, experienced piercers in your area who would be happy to pierce your belly button for you.Professional piercers will operate in a sterile environment that reduces the chance of infection. They will also use appropriate jewelry and good technique that, again, reduces the chance of something going wrong. You’re going to be enjoying your pierced navel for many years so take the time to get it pierced right.

Is it okay to re pierce your belly button?

The safety and advisability of re-piercing a navel depends on a number of factors:Were you anatomically suited in the first place? What went wrong with the piercing and can you do something differently to make sure it doesn’t happen again?Did the initial placement leave excessive scar tissue in the location where the piercing should be positioned? Therefore, you need to be evaluated by a competent piercer to see whether re piercing is suitable in your case.

Can i get my belly button repierced?

I got my belly button pierced in october 2007 and took it out in may 2008. it wasn't infected and i had no problems with it i just didn't want my parents to find out. the hole is stillopen on top and closed on the bottom and i think closed in the middle and a ring won't go through very far. can i get it repierced?

Can a belly button piercing close up?

It depends on 2 things. 1 - your body’s personal healing ability (some take longer than others) and 2 - how long you have had it pierced. If you had it done in the last 6 months or so, it will probably close up in a matter of days (or in some cases, hours). If you have had it for longer than that, it will obviously take longer to close up, if it ever does. Once piercings have completely healed and you take the earring, barbell etc out, there will always be some kind of mark, whether it be an actual hole or scar tissue. I had my ears pierced for 5 years, I took them out and when I put them back in 20 years later, they went in with very little difficulty. I can't say the same for belly button piercings, though, as I only had mine done 2 months ago. Hope this helps.

How can I pierce my own belly button?

I am 14 and reeeally want my belly button pierced. My parents would never let me until I'm at least 17..I don't want to wait 3 more years! So I want to do this myself, and I need some advice on how to sterilize a needle and keep it from getting infected.

Please don't try to convince me to not do it! I'm just looking for some good advice, I'm going to do it in about a month and my friend is going to do it for me. I just want to be safe!

How do you pierce your own belly button?

You don't. There is way too much of a chance for infection or accidental tissue damage. From your vantage point, you cannot be certain that your angle is correct or that your home tools are properly sterile. Just as well, internet wisdom cannot effectively replace training and apprenticeship in a shop that specializes in body modifications. Not to be extreme, but I cringe at the the thought of you hurting yourself simply because you wanted to save some money. If you're asking this because you're young and can't do it without parental consent, then I insist that if you really want it, you can wait. If you are of age, then please just shell out the $30 for a professional job. I hope in a month I don't see "How do I treat hepatitis by myself?" on my feed. Take care.

Self Belly Button Piercing?

Okay... I have pierced my own labret. I have pierced my own tragus. I was in high school. I tried and tried to pierce my belly button, but it hurt sooo bad. And so many years later now that I think about all that I had done... I was obviously not thinking clearly for some reason.

Don't do it. I work with body jewelry. I've seen girls who have done it and they are disgustingly infected and pussing green stuff out of what used to be their cute little navel. I will say it again... please don't do this to yourself!

Could I pierce my own belly button with my earring?

It’s not likely that you could properly pierce your belly button with a typical earring because the earring post is not long enough to go completely through both ends of the skin around your belly button, nor is the tip sharp enough to easily pierce your skin. Plus, the diameter of the earring post is too small to do a proper piercing.Go get your belly button pierced properly by someone that actually has experience and the proper instruments to pierce belly buttons.Doing it at home with an earring is a good way to invite infection into your body. Do it right or don’t do it all.
