I spend my days sleeping, thinking (negative thoughts) and watching YouTube videos, and I want to do SO many things! How can I begin to be normal?
I am facing the same exact issue.I am not doing anything productive for myself, the loss of eyesight and refusing to wear eyeglasses is making the world fade little by little as i am slipping away. I literally watched all types of youtube videos, every video i watch is now boring because i experienced every possible emotion with every scenario.And thanks to simpsons and south park and family guy, i no longer laugh because i experienced every possible joke. Or when i see a joke, i smile but really really rare do i laugh.Video Games take a lot of portion of my time, they are less productive, if i switched all the time i played games into something productive, i would've had learned every possible internet programming language. I can socialize outside but it really bothers me, i am kind of extrovert, the more i sit playing online, and watching video the more i feel guilt and less interested in going outside.The only thing thats keeping me from going outside the house are people and embarresment. Also, self confidence plays a role here, self esteem, call it whatever you want, but this is a threat, laziness, and the huge urge to stay on the computer...Even if i have friends, i am embarresed from my parents, the only reason i don't go to my friend's house is because i hate dealing with meeting their parents, i am shy from my own shadow!! And my parents meeting them is also somewhat an embarresment to me, obviously its not for u, because my case is different than your caseI wonder how i would deal with boredom without my phone and laptop, as if i am not bored already.Movies/theater , gym, garden, visiting restaurants, all demand a level of socialization. I am not really that experienced in that but i know that i can improve. However, theres a whole world out there, there would be new brain patterns unlocked, new things experienced , new joy, new emotions that never felt before, and new experiences. What i mean with new experiences is something the mind has not seen / smelled or even tasted. Thats what it means to go out doors. It is denying every other people's negative thoughts about you and moving on.
