Im Trying To Create A Visual Design/ Logo

How do you create a personal logo?

I am sharing these 4 steps of logo creation process. This is how I do it:Take your time and thinkSometimes it may seem that creating a logo is an easy and fast process, but it is not true. Logo is the most important part of your business or your personal branding, so it requires some time for idea generation. Thinking and researching process should be 80% of your work.2. Do some researchResearch is an essential part too. This is actually a process of seeking inspiration. Just google your keywords, and go over similar and your industry-related logos.3. Define your styleYou may find some cool logos you want to copy some elements from, but you do not forget that your logo should be unique and should convey your goals and your story. Define your colors, mood and message.4. Create your logoIf you have done points 1,2,3, this step is very easy. All you have do is to transfer your ideas into the workplace of your tool (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc). However, if you don’t have any skills in designing tools, there are free online logo maker tools. I always recommend people to use Ucraft’s logo maker tool, as it is the easiest and most convenient one.I hope this was helpful ))

Should I hire someone to design logo for my start-up or do it myself?

It's sorta the startup culture to do everything yourself! Be a jack of all trades! Hustle! Make it happen! It's true in many cases, but not in situations that the service you are looking for is already commodotized! Meaning that you can get it done with quality and speed, and save your time and energy for your real problems: building the product and finding traction! When I first started, I wanted to do everything myself! I’d say “I can do it”, “I just google it, practice makes it perfect!”…And, I did exact that! Hours of wasted time on learning how to do it and what colour and what combination. Themes or icons! Font or picture..And then, I found Tailor Brands | Design a Logo & Create Your BrandFirst of all, I’ve learned so much about product design! How a self-serve and intuitive product should work! But, most impeotantly i’ve got a logo, a brand identity guideline (colours and fonts matching the logo, etc), our logo in all sizes required for all our social media channels, a tool to design a new image for posting content every week, and so much more! Just for less than $100!Save your time and energy for your real startup problems, and outsource services that are already professionally commoditized! Logo design is certainly one of them!Good luck!See our logo: Stock Card - Know which stock to buy for the long-term!

What are some common materials used to create visual art compositions?

charcoal, chalk, ink, prints, watercolour paint, acrylic paint, oil paint, coloured pencil, pencil, graphite, clay, wire, mod roc, sugar paper, tissue paper.

What's the best way to create a logo for my company? I want to do it myself as I'm on a budget and fairly creative.

Here is what you can do. You won't need to install any software, as everything will be done online. The key tool for logo design is called "pen tool" and it allows to create dinamic lines and curves (that you can always edit). Then you work with shapes, fill colours and borders. That's most of it, regarding basic design tools.Draw the logo in a piece of paper using a ruler and a pencil. Do it as many times as necessary until you find it works for you.Take a photo from it from above (literally, not 45°). Download the photo to you computerEnter YouiDraw Logo Creator, create an account and proceedUpload your picture and draw on top of it.If you don't like that you could create a version entirely online, without doing any drawing on paper. In that case, you could use either Youi or JanvasFinally, if you want to try some desktop tools, Inkscape if what I use for designing logos. (it's free glp software)Note: Most designers will tell you (and I can not disagree) you won't get the same result and it will requiere a lot of time and effort to get a decent thing. A logo is the face of a business/project, so I would suggest consult -at least- with a designer. (our answers here are for free, but we all must make a living). A tutorial on inkscape

What's the name of the font for the VIACOM logo or something similar?

Difference between Graphic design & Interior design?

No difference in the term. Graphic Design covers all areas of design but they are specialized. It can be in Interior, commercial, residential, architectural, corporate logo design etc .....

The commercial area is the most demanding and better paying. you can design shopping malls (most popular) and apply interior designing suck as decorations etc...

Usually, when you specialize in interior design, this ia a good paying job as well except some student branch out to include other areas to broaden their expertise.

Me personally, I cover the commercial aspect and corporate designing. I am a Magazine Editor and Graphic Designer specializing in creative bottling design labelling and corporate logos as well.

Salary ranges from
$60k if you part-time to 125k annually fulltime.
