Immigration spouse visa?

My husband was refused entry to the UK because I was purely £4 per week short of supporting him, we were successful on everything else from proving it a genuine relationship to having enough room for him to live here, we applied last year he was refused because they were not convinced it being a genuine relationship which we have now proved, not to apply again I have to be earning 18k a year which is almost impossible, he is from Jordan and I am not working at the moment but it states in the courts that this is not a problem as long as he does not come to the UK wanting to claim benefits, it states that I can support him on any income available to me. We can go to a higher tribunal court if the solicitor sees any fault in the judges decision, my husband and I have been together for 4 years and married for 16 months. I cannot leave the uk to live with him because I have my children here I would not leave them for anything in the world, I don't want Racist replies please. Can anyone give me any advice on this matter please

Immigrant Spouse Visa?

Nope. He first has to get his green card, NOT just his immigration visa. Then he takes his GC to the nearest Social Security Administration office and applies for a Social Security number. Takes about 4 weeks - they verify his GC, etc, then mail out the card. Then he can start looking for a job, and start working if he can find a job.

Over 31 million Americans are currently looking for work (with last month's crop of new grads entering the workforce, that number is probably up at least a couple million by now). Real unemployment rate is 22.7%. Average job search time for qualified, experienced workers is running about 40 weeks. Among age 16-24, unemployment is running about 52-53% among those actually looking for full-time work (eliminating students, etc, only looking for part-time, summer jobs, etc).

You need to plan on supporting him fully, perhaps for a very extended period. There are immigrants looking for work for a year or two before they find anything. Of course, there are laid-off US citizen teachers with masters degree, certification, and experience looking for work for 4 years. Have fun. Hope you have piles of money. You're gonna need it.

UK SPOUSE VISA?? help :-(?

hi,
you need 3 months worth but if you have more thats even better, what ever they ask for you need to provide but if you have extra things that will help make your case strong just give those aswel.
inshallah you will get the visa i shall pray, because i know how you feel i went through it too.

While they’re often thought of as being a ‘spouse visa’, the actual visa your spouse or fiancé needs will depend on your circumstances. There isn’t a straight forward answer it depends. One factor is wether the spouse of the person needing a visa is a British Citizen or not.Status and circumstances are some of the factors involved the fees are also non refundable.Example : from abroad: £1464Spouse visa from UK and other Leave to Remain (FLR)- £993Indefinite Leave to Remain: £2297Settlement – other dependent relative : £3250It is expected that these fees will continue to increase, if not every year, then at least once every 2 years. Unfortunately, there is nothing that anybody can do and, as stated above, these fees are non-refundable. It is very important, therefore, to get the right legal expertise to advise and assist you with making a visa application. If you’re already in the UK, your spouse (husband, wife or civil partner) or fiancé will need a visa to join you to live for over 6 months.A family member who joins you in the UK based on your right to stay in the UK is called a ‘dependant’, and you are known as the ‘sponsor’. They’ll need to make an application from outside the UK.If your spouse or partner wants to visit the UK for less than 6 months, you need to apply for a visit visa instead. If the application gets rejected, appealing will take between 6 and 9 months. Please note I am not an official Home Office immigration advisor my answer came from my knowledge of the system and personally from helping friends etc with such applications to enable them to come here or continue to stay if they are already here. I may be able to answer and advise you better if I knew your personal circumstances which I am happy to do so if you wish, otherwise I suggest you get in touch with UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration)
