Is it possible to renew Malaysian driver licence from overseas?

Yes it is possible, AFAIK as long as you have a Malaysian bank account with online banking activated, you can renew via Welcome to MyEG Services Berhad and have it posted to any valid address in Malaysia.Quite a nifty site I should say, and I just found out that I have a ticket for speeding while verifying the site. Bummer!

How can I learn to drive in Australia?

In order to be able to drive a car on the road in Queensland Australia, (it is slightly different in every state) you must first pass a 30 minute multiple choice exam on the road and giving way laws at a licencing centre. This test however is changing to a 4–6 hour module that can be completed online in July this year.Currently, following passing the test, you are issued an L permit and you are legally allowed to drive on the road so long as you are fully supervised by either an open-licence responsible party who is willing to be patient and will give directions or a certified driving instructor (lessons). It is highly recommended that you receive at least 1 driving lesson prior to venturing out with the open-licenced person. After you have logged 100 driving hours with supervision (Each hour with a certified instructor counts as 3 to a maximum of 10 lessons) and have held your L permit for at least 12 months (under 25’s), you can apply for the driving test to move onto your Provisional Licence. After successfully completing the test you are issued with your red P’s and are allowed to drive without supervision but with numerous limitations such as, night driving, car type, number of passengers etc.If you manage to hold your red P’s for 1 incident free year you can apply for your green P’s which have less restrictions providing you pass the hazard perception test.If you hold this licence for 2 incident free years you can then apply for your open, unrestricted licence with no limitations.

Can one under 21 rent a car in Australia?

By fulfilling some specific requirements you can rent a car in Australia as you are around 21 years old.You can check out car rental platform like EasyRentCars. It would be the best car rental platforms for you to get the best rental deal for you. Each car hire company has its own age requirements, but most of the rental platform rent to people between 25 and 65. If you're 21-25, you are likely to have to pay a young driver fee. By paying this fee you can rent a car in Australia. You will need to bring your driving license with you to pick up your hire car. They usually expect drivers to have held their full license for at least one years. Provisional licenses and Copy version might not be accepted. So you should bring your original license. When you hire a car abroad in some countries you will need an International Driving Permit (IDP), as well as your own driving license. If you have a UK driving license, you may be asked for a code at the car hire counter.Hope you will get your desired rental car in Australia from here.Good Luck

Can you buy a car without a driver's license? If so, how?

You do not need a license to buy or register an automobile. You need a license to DRIVE an automobile. Millions of cars are owned by corporations or other types of legal non-human entities. They are purchased in the company name, registered in the company name and insured in the company name. The insurance company will usually want to know who is the primary driver which helps them figure out the premium. 16 year old male drivers cost more to insure than 36 year old male drivers assuming a clean driving record.Ownership is not a license to drive the car. Any person or entity can purchase and register an automobile but only a licensed person can legally drive the automobile. The automobile dealer will be happy to sell a car to anyone or any legal entity and the motor vehicle department will be happy to register the car provided you supply them with the items they require such as a bill of sale and proof of insurance.

Where can i go in sydney and drive my car as fast as i want?

I don't know what the other answerers are on but the question seemed perfecty clear to me- you're a young recently licensed driver with your first decent car wanting to know where you can go hell for leather legally and safely.

the only place I know of is nowhere near sydney, its willowbank raceway in Queensland. I have heard rumors of a simiar complex opening up soon on the gold coast but nothing concrete.

I do recommend you do the advanced driving course though- it is major thrill to be doing the speed limit on a winding road with some idiot doing double the legal speed in front of you and catching up to him in the corners!

How strict should you stick to speed limits in Australia?

Based on my experiences driving in Australia compared with driving in the UK, other European countries or even the US... you should stick to them very strictly. Speeding seems to be taken much more seriously in Aus and most people just don't seem to do it.In the UK you'll frequently see a large number of vehicles driven at 80-90 mph despite the 70 mph limit; it's almost culturally acceptable. I have never seen this happen in Australia. If you're travelling on the highway or freeway then you may well encounter speed camera systems. Their purpose is the prevention of speeding, so it's in everyone's interest that they work and are used. The further you drive the less it makes sense to speed - will you really notice 30 mins less driving on an all day trip? If you get caught and pulled over by an officer and most of the time you save will be lost anyway, plus you may get a fine and points, so why risk it? Admittedly this is also true of other large countries with similar road systems, such as the US.If you're driving in the city you may find it impossible to speed to get there faster. There are 2 good reasons for this:In the city your progress will largely be constrained by the flow of other traffic and by traffic management objects such as traffic lights. Most people obey the speed limit so you won't be able to overtake easily unless there are vacant lanes. Your choice of lane will be determined by where you want to turn next so you need to plan ahead to be in the right lane which may make overtaking difficult. The flow of traffic in cities is carefully managed by use of Traffic light control and coordination  (I know this first hand both as a driver and because I worked at Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads). This means that if you pull away faster from the lights or drive faster to get ahead of the pack, you will likely just wait longer at the next lights. Their timing is optimised to favour traffic flow on main routes at the speed limit, not above. So you'll get no benefit over other vehicles driven at or just below the speed limit anyway.Don't risk it mate. Cops love to ticket tourists just as much as Aussies, they won't shy from it just because you have a different sounding accent or different looking license.
