In Need Of A Producer. No Regrets

What should one do in their 20s to avoid regrets in their 30s and 40s?

Noticed something funny?People in their 30’s purchase a house on a massive loan. Why?So that when they do become old, they can live in it.So what they do is buy a house for a 30 year mortgage or loan and work their ass off for the next 30 years to pay for the loan.Funny thing is - they are working like a dog - spending their entire youth chasing, running and making - so that they can live in a house during their old age.Funny right? And they do not even think of the possibility that - maybe, just maybe - they may die before hand or that something may happen before that - which can change the entire course of their lives. So what these people and many others like them do is - live for the future.First and foremost - How do you know you will live until the age of 40? or 30?How do you know you may not die within 1 year? Next month? Next week? How do you know? The fact is - no one knows!Everyone likes to assume or believe they will live until the ripe old age of 75 or 100. It is nice to have an Optimism Bias but it is better to be practical and realistic. No one knows if you or I will live until the age of 30 or 40.And whatever advice I may give you today - may not be applicable in another few years. Why?Because you have changed, people have changed, the environment has changed and our world has changed.Given a planet where the technology changes every few weeks - you seriously want someone to give you advice for the next 10 years?Well - if you really want something worthwhile to keep in mind and heart….here would be the advice I would give.Live everyday as if it were your last day on the planet.Do everything that needs to be done - so that if you were to die tomorrow - you would live your life knowing - you have no regrets. That doesn’t mean live it recklessly or take a credit card and blow it out it completely. What I mean is - do those things money cannot buy and those things that do not hurt others. And live in a manner that is true to your value system. And where ‘living for the future goes’ - cross that bridge when it arrives.Remember - do not waste what you have right now - for hopes and anticipation for a future you have not seen and do not know if it will ever come. That is why what you have right now - is called “The Present”.Loy Machedo

Does anyone regret getting their neutered?

clockwork:
a) I'm not a man, I have no attachment to dog balls.. sorry bud
b) It IS illegal in Norway actually. I was just there two weeks ago. I only met one guy with an altered dog. My boyfriend thought it was absolute stupidity that everyone in the U.S. altered their dogs.(he's Norwegian).
c) there ARE actually many negatives to neutering a dog. Do you actually believe you can take a major hormone producer away from one's body and not have any consequences? I don not think so bud.
d) "Only irresponsible owners don't spay/neuter their dogs" (or something to that effect). Really? if that's the case, explain breeders? Showdogs? If only irresponsible owners have intact dogs, then who's dogs are left breeding?

Can getting naked in front of Directors and producers and allowing them physical favors fasten my growth in Bollywood?

That feeling would be awesome.Just follow the right path you would surely get success and you would have no regrets in future that you did something wrong in the past. That would be the best taste of success.Just remember one thing, in the end the person who would survive in the industry would be the one who has the talent, so learn as much as you can.All the best.

How should you design your life to have no regrets at the end?

I don't think life is best lived according to “design.” That level of attempted control would leave me with many regrets, I'm sure, some number of which would be about not having lived fully. The other day I volunteered at a Vets Center fund raiser, where my job was to serve some of the delicious and special food that a volunteer chef had prepared. I asked the chef about cost. “Will people would have paid for it somewhere before arriving at my station?” I was told it was all by donation. I asked how much to put on each plate, and the chef mounded a hefty spoonful of food on a plate to show me. “About that much,” he said, “but if they want more you give them more. If they want seconds you give them seconds. If they want more of one or another ingredient, make sure they get what they want. Do that whether or not they make a donation.”For the next two hours I had the profound experience of giving people as much food as they wanted, as often as they wanted, regardless of donation. If someone came over to see what smelled so good and then bashfully apologized for having forgotten a wallet, I could say, “No problem. No money necessary. What would you like?” There was something about the experience of abundance and unrestrained sharing that moved me deeply.Afterward, I found myself thinking about where in my life I am holding back instead of sharing freely. When am I not generous in my listening? When do I withhold love? When do I stifle laughter or tears, hug only briefly, dismiss possibility, walk away from the opportunity to connect honestly and openly?I think I would have no regrets if I lived abundantly and generously.

Does George Lucas have any regrets about the Star Wars storyline?

I think he mainly regrets his own writing (mostly the dialogue) of the prequel trilogy.George is well aware that back when the movies were being newly experienced, that many people were not fond of the character of Anakin.Forgetting about the terrible dialogue given to Jake Lloyd which started all of this business in the first place, George has said many times that he thought Hayden Christensen played the character of Anakin Skywalker PERFECTLY.Let’s think about this for a moment, because if you approach the prequels the way I do, you’ll realize that he’s absolutely right. Personally I have grown to not really mind Anakin. He used to kinda bother me but Kylo annoys me a lot more nowadays so that helps.Anyway, apparently Hayden read his lines and followed his direction from George incredibly well. Of course, the talent of Hayden as an actor can be argued, however, the main problem with the character is the dialogue. The lines he read and spoke in the movie can be SO CHEESY at times, and I think this is because George had very little outside input into his scripts this time around.Looking back at the original trilogy, all the films are great in themselves because they all had great input from other people, especially when you consider th fact that The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were directed by people other than George Lucas.Long story short, if the writing and the lines that Anakin read were different, the scenes and dialogue wouldn’t have been so cheesy and childlike and we would have gotten a much different, probably much more mature but equally as conflicted Anakin.George just finds it unfortunate that people don’t like the character of Anakin, but can you blame him? In essence, the character of Anakin Skywalker before he becomes Darth Vader is supposed to be immature and conflicted. He just took it a *little* too far in my opinion.

Does George Lucas have any regrets about selling the rights of Star Wars to Disney?

Given that he compared Disney to white slavers (albeit jokingly, even if it was in bad taste) I'd say that he probably does have a few.  But what he also said in that interview makes me respect him more than I had before.  He mentioned how he's very aware that he's getting older and that he wants there to be more stories in the saga, but that he was faced with the knowledge that there's a very good chance that he won't be around long enough to see the end of another trilogy.  That moment of humility is, I think, a powerful moment.  It's an acknowledgement that a lot of people have wanted to hear ever since he started remastering the original movies: that Star Wars is bigger now than George Lucas.I can't imagine the difficulty he must have had in letting go of the universe he's spent so much time creating. I'll admit, if I were in his place, I'm not sure I would ever be able to do it.  But he did, and because of that the series can go on even after Lucas himself is gone.  In the end, he proved that he's a fan of Star Wars too.  And I wish I could thank him for that.

Do porn stars ever regret it after a couple of years after doing porn?

It's kindda touches ma heart to see all dem pretty girls doing adult movies. Do they after sometime wanna settle down and raise a family like it never happened?. Do they kindda have their own Hollywood where it's just them who live there? "cos I've never met one on the street.lol.

I feel these girls are not treated with the respect they deserve, especially on a site like ghetto gaggers. I wonder if these girls watch their own movies and the way they're treated during the act.

Is there is a female porn on here who can tell me how it feels like to be a porn star? Do they ever go through any humiliation.

Would Disney permit George Lucas to do a final definitive producer's cut of the first six Star Wars movies? Why or why not?

Would Disney permit George Lucas to do a final definitive producer's cut of the first six Star Wars movies? Why or why not?No. George Lucas retired in 2012 and sold his company, its intellectual properties, and all that jazz to The Walt Disney Company. Once he did that, that was it. Star Wars is someone else’s baby now.Besides, Lucas already has tinkered with his Star Wars films since, oh, 1977, when technical issues related to the sound mix of the original film reared their ugly heads. I can’t list all the changes made to the original trilogy even before the Special Edition re-releases of January, February, and March of ‘97. Some were subtle. such as adjustments to the sound mix; others were obvious, such as the addition of the Episode IV: A New Hope subtitle to Star Wars for its 1981 re-release.As Mike Prinke mentioned in his answer, Lucas has tinkered with all six of the pre-Disney Star Wars Episodes, including three bites at the apple with the Original Trilogy, starting with the 20th Anniversary Special Editions in 1997, then again in 2004 for the DVD release, and yet again in 2011 for the Complete Saga Blu-ray release of 2011. That’s quite a few “definitive producer’s editions.”So, no. Disney is not interested in retracing its steps with the original 20th Century Fox/Lucasfilm films. It costs money to make those adjustments, after all, and it simply isn’t worth the expense.Lastly, George Lucas is tired of dealing with the daily grind of working on big films. That was one of the reasons he gave when he announced he was stepping down from the leadership chair at Lucasfilm. He wanted to devote more time to his family, his philanthropic projects, and to work on small, personal movies instead of blockbusters.
