In Text Reference Help

What is the difference between a textbook and a reference book?

A text book is a book that is basically prescribed by a particular institution or government for a particular subject. It is a standard book that is written keeping an average person in mind. On the other hand reference books are those that people use to get extra information about what is already in the textbook or maybe to generally refer a particular topic. People often use these when a textbook does not satisfy their needs. These books are written for reference for reference purpose only so a good standard is not a guarantee. They often provide extra information or detailed notes of a topic or subject.

APA Government Citation Help: In-text and Reference?

Here is the link where the information to cite can be found: http://www.ptsd.va.gov/professional/pages/ptsd-minority-vets.asp

This is how I've done it for the Reference:
Loo, C. M. United States. Department of Veterans Affairs. National Center for PTSD. (2009, November 9). PTSD among ethnic minority veterans. Retrieved April 23, 2010 from the Department of Veterans Affairs Web site: http://www.ptsd.va.gov/professional/pages/ptsd-minority-vets.asp

(I'm not sure if it is right or not) and I am unsure as to how to do the in-text based off of the information. I appreciate the help.

Where can I find some examples and text references to help me build a good funds transfer pricing software program?

you can try to look for some reference in FTP vendors documentation.one example could be this one: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E2665... (chapter 12 & 13)there are some formulas, general descriptions too, not many examples though ...or another one:I had excel simulations of different TP methods of Kamakura. However they don't publish their documentation public, only very hight level slides. but maybe if you ask them directly, they send you something back ... (http://www.kamakuraco.com/Portal...)

APA in-text citation help?

Your friend is correct. According to the 'APA Style In-text Citation' section of Southern New Hampshire University's 'Documenting Sources' website, "For paragraphs based on sources, there must be at least one citation per paragraph. One citation will not suffice for more than one paragraph, even if several paragraphs are from the same source."

I know what you mean that it can seem annoying, but papers written in APA style do have references throughout-- very often more than one citation per paragraph.

I've included link to the SNHU I mentioned above as well as some additional sources about APA style.

Everything assimilated into a swirl of rebellion. On July 14, following a string of three day riots, enraged citizen stormed the Bastille prison (itc).

In-text Citation Help?

You don't need to put each actor's name in quotes. Just write your sentence and then cite the page for the movie. After the sentence, put (IMDB, "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith").
If your teacher requires page numbers, you'll put a comma, then "Cast," since web sites don't have page numbers - you just refer to the nearest sub-heading, then a paragraph number if applicable.

For more information on citing web pages, see the Purdue University OWL (Online Writing Lab) at http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/08/

How can I prevent someone from intercepting my text messages on my phone?

Someone being who? A nosy girlfriend or parent? A hacker? If it's a person near you who can have access to your actual device you're better off either putting an end to texting all together or deleting your message trail because they are intercepting your messages by actually reading them from your device. If you're talking about a hacker then you need to invest in an encrypted messaging apps such as Signal which adds a layer of security to the already great iOS security. Lastly - a social solution to both would be to have a second phone that isn't registered to you and that you don't always have on your person. They can't intercept that which they don't know that you have. PS: Don't be so paranoid...generally speaking your text messaging only matter to you.
