Inspiration Or Tips For Writer

How to get inspiration to write a book?

Inspiration is something that is abstract and you cannot just buy it anywhere. For me I get inspired to write when I am angry or when there is feeling of hatred within me. Definitely, authors like us would have variations of impulses that inspire us. We just have to take notice of the world that revolves around us. Then we should appreciate life as it is. We should also take note of the mystery of it. With the keenness of our senses we would have a lot of things to write.
With regard to your problem of being in the same thought with other authors I do agree that it poses a problem because we have to respect others' creation. But then again different people see life and the world differently. Just be keen and your idea will be distinct.
Here is a tip with regard to inspiration, I started writting when I started reading Paulo Coehlo. He imbued to me a different sense of the world around me. Now, I write a lot because he had awaken the ember of MUSE inside me.

Do you have any tips for an inspired fantasy writer?

Read Stephen King’s On Writing. Then read Writing Popular Fiction by Dean Koontz. Both books are old. Both are just as valuable as they were decades ago. Koontz will give you solid practical insight into the mechanics of writing genre fiction. King will help you understand what it takes to be a pro. Then take King’s advice. Write. Forget the rest. Workshops and courses and the rest can be useful for networking and picking up technique, but what they’re really good for is holding you accountable for doing what you said you wanted to do in the first place - write. So write. Every day. Preferably at an assigned time for an assigned period. Treat it like a job. Because if you take it seriously it is a job. If you don’t take it seriously then it’s just your alternative to watching Youtube or playing CS:GO.Oh and, while you’re at it, enjoy. I can tell you from personal experience that there’s no feeling quite like reading your final edit of a piece and thinking, “Damn… that’s good!” And, if you really enjoy reading what you’ve written, chances are there are others who will as well. Finally, if you want to publish then do it. Forget the Big Five. You have as much chance of making it past the slush pile as you do of winning the Powerball jackpot. So don’t waste your time with query letters.Write it. Edit the living shit out of it, preferably with the help of someone who knows how to edit manuscripts. Then edit it again (Seriously. I’m not kidding about this step). Then publish it.Amazon makes it stupidly easy to get your work out there. If you’re good and you’re patient you’ll begin to find an audience. And I can tell you from personal experience that there’s nothing quite like that first five star review.Do all of the above and you have a solid shot at being a fantasy author. You may not get rich, but you will be the real deal.

How do you retain inspiration when writing a book?

If the “inspiration” isn’t sufficient to carry you thru the hard work and long hours of actual research (which I believe if done thoroughly and properly will actually increase original “inspiration”) then, as far more successful old friend told me, “It’s time to move on. Not every great idea is a successful idea.” The key to keeping inspiration inspiring is to do the actual work. If doing the work is not sufficient to carry you thru… Then you weren’t that inspired and what inspired you wasn’t that inspirational.Try a new project. Some projects (books) need fallow periods. Set aside what you are no longer inspired to do and begin working on a new inspiration. My Muse has used this tactic to lead me to something to re-inspire me on a fallow project.

I want to write inspirational books. I have no prior experience in writing. Where should I start to write my first book?

I would need some more clarity on what you mean by inspirational books and why you want to write them.If you mean self-help books that can inspire other people to lead better lives, then you need to have some kind of a life model that you can talk about in your book.If you mean an inspirational story with life lessons woven into the plot, then you need to create that story ground up. Maybe base it on someone you know or life events that inspired you.If you have no prior experience, I would recommend starting by blogging. It allows you to write in short bursts and you can get feedback on what you're writing. It will help you build your book slowly and steadily, one piece at a time.

What are some tips you would give to a writer struggling to find motivation?

There are two things required for writing that have eluded me in the past: skill and inspiration.Skill takes practice and more practice. Don't be a perfectionist and realize that people go through many drafts before publishing. Seek constructive feedback to make next time better. Isolate this from the time for inspiration and idea generation.Inspiration: You have to get yourself out there and find new experiences that give you ideas to write about. Don't be oblivious to the little ideas around you, how people talk, a smart comment or a simple moment. Keep a notebook (electronic device works too) on the go. If time passes, you will forget the essence of the moment and how it made you feel. Build writing flow, scribble away to get the idea down without caring about skill or style.—Matters of Living is a place to find and share the inspiration and momentum to create a better life. How can you overcome writer's block? What are some good tips on getting inspired?

Hello Miles: I know little about you, but that you’re probably intelligent enough to research this problem on your own. I’ll say, from off and on experience, that no writers overcome the BIG BLOCK the same way, but everyone can offer their opinions and successes and how-to’s.For example, I just put this into the Quora search: https://www.quora.com/search?q=o...Man-O-Man did I come up with a slew of answers, suggestions from amateurs, professional writers, authors. An amazing array of ideas for you to choose from. Try it yourself. Please.Next, type the very same into a Google search. Press “enter”. Wait - but not for long. The response is outrageous! More than you’d ever plow through, but as you probably know the cream is at the top. Not only websites, but blogs to join, YouTube series, Facebook pages. You want it - you got it! Go and enjoy.Hey Miles, I’m not trying to be a comedian here. It’s just that so many answers to so many questions have already been posted SO MANY times. If you seek success, you have to do the research yourself, learning from every avenue available. This is a reflection of your determination to take part in what’s important to you instead of what (don’t be offended please) you might perceive as a one-size-fits-all answer from a popular Q&A site. This is about YOU.If you’re into writing, you’re also - or should be - deeply into research to authenticate your work, and to work your way into becoming the best you can be.Shanti, and very best to you.
