Which is appropriate, 'kindly advice' or 'kindly advise'?
Advice is a noun and advise is a verb.Kindly advice is advice (noun) which is given kindly (in a kind, well meant manner).“Kindly advise” is a phrase you may see in a letter or email asking politely for advice from someone. Advise is a verb and when you advise someone you are giving them advice. You are not asking for kindly advice but asking in a polite way for advice. For instance you are telling someone your situation or problem and you need their advice. At the end of your written explanation you may write in a new sentence “"Kindly advise”. It is a request.
What are the alternatives for "please advise" in business writing?
What is the standard practice or the protocol for this situation? How do you recommend that I handle this? How would you like for me to proceed? Please give me your advice on addressing this issue?I can see that please advise can be a bit too direct for some people's taste, so you can get more feedback by writing more than please advise.
Is saying "please advise" in an email request polite or obnoxious?
Personally I don’t like seeing it, but I do use it myself sometimes in cases where I’m a little frustrated, for example about:Someone made a request to me (or to nobody in particular) that’s unclear or lacks sufficient information that the person really should have provided.I received a comment that’s not even a request but more just stating a fact of some kind. I’m now wondering if action should be taken and if so, what action. I’m frustrated here with the lack of clarity, so my reply may end with a ‘Please advise.’A lot of discussion without any clear next steps or task assignment.Another advantage of using it is that it establishes very clearly to a casual reader on Cc that an issue is not with me, it is with the other person and I’m waiting for his/her input.For me personally I would never use it out of the blue in a first polite request for information.So yes, I do intend to be a bit more direct (possibly not crossing into rude) when I use it, although I see it enough to know that not everyone uses it that way.
What does please advise mean?
'Please advise' is deceptively polite. It is meant to convey a somewhat negative message, usually to a person not below your rank but not in your sphere of activity.An example:The Accounts Manager asks a Sales Manager to collect some dues from a customer because there is shortage of funds. In reply, the Sales Manager may say: The credit agreed wirh this customer is 90 days whereas the current outstanding is only 56 days, so how can I ask for this payment? Please advise.Or: A service engineer is told by the boss that he should not come back without resolving a customer's complaint in a remote area, but finds that he does not have the necessary spare parts and those will take time to reach there. So he may send a message - even to his boss- " Need so-and-so part which is not available here and will take time to procure from Mumbai. I can go and buy it personally and return to finish the job. Please advise"
How is government helping farmers?
Every Government has ample sympathy for farming community.But politics as addiction, imposing own ideology for betterment of country in their opinions come in way to keep aside the problems . Although history has amply proved that no government regime is for ever. However, so far steps taken to help farmers are:Financial aid to for advanced irrigation facilities, farm ponds,polyhouse crop cultivation, poultry,dairy development. Space in MIDCs for agroproduce processing industries.Availability of seed, fertilizers, pesticides, implements, water sourcs by dams,wells, turbines etc.Intermittent increase in MSPs. Insurance protection , crop insurances, compensations on losses by natural calamities . Some countries legally enacted “Law of agriculture Adjustments”,while some keep 30 to40 % of country budget for farming .Online availability of 7/12 and loan waive scheme etc.Scholarship to their children.Generic medicine stores.Ample land value for land acquisition.However, most of average farmers not able to avail of the benefits due to digital application process. Even it come in the way of scholarships. Less digital applications due to illiteracy, lack of knowledge sometimes are supposed to be fake scholarships,loans . Service centres r there . But requirement of many proofs, upgrading mistakes in documents, standing hours and hours in lines after limited no. registrants from morning , remistaks by centre operator and again their corrections consume lot of time and energy resulting in feelings annoyance long period with disappointments. Indulging service centres operators in advice of their convenience. People's satisfaction gestation period depends on what level humanity is sitting in chair as customers r advised accordingly.Schemes and efforts for betterment r excellent in formulatios. But many implementation personels mask it's goodness with nuisance .

I want to help needy and poor people but I don't have money. How can I help them?
Hey!!Good to see that people having no money,but have got a big heart.I really don't think giving money to beggars can ever be a good option.When nothing in this world comes for free,why should beggars get money by mere sympathy instead of hard work?As I am pursuing my b.tech from Nagpur and i live as PG,so there are expenses.I don’t have a fixed pocket money,it varies everytime.All depends on whether my mood flips on with time.But I love helping needy ones.So i celebrated this birthday with them,have gone through the streets of Nagpur and found a crowd of small children.I went close to them had a short conversation with them,gave some food and clothes and according to me great birthday celebrations are unnecessary when there are people who cannot even afford next meal.After spending an hour with them i asked them “can i leave?”(as those were the days my exams were on) suddenly one of them said “Itne jaldi”Translated: Why so early!!With smile on my face i said “Jald hi milenge”Translated: Will meet soon :)So this was my story.This birthday was simple but gave me lot more happiness than any other birthday celebration. When you make someone else smile on your birthday, I mean the real happiness, you cannot imagine how much happiness you receive in your heart.Notice the satisfaction one gets by helping someone needy.And Here are few things that you can do:1).Help the poor student by giving them your old books.2).You can let go that extra blanket in your wardrobe, humanity needs it.3).Have low self esteem, they wish for a better life - leave them feeling valued even if you don't have a dime to offer, don't give that awkward look when they ask for money.4).When travelling somewhere,keep stack of biscuits in your car,many kids ask for money in traffic signals,instead give them biscuits that can feed their hunger.5) You buy a movie ticket worth Rs.300 at the cinema - the poor doesn't have such surplus.You can invite them to spend some time with you alone.Humans are everywhere but only few of them are HumaneSo please do help the needy ones :)
