There is no battery replacement for an iPhone...(Black Market excluded). Speak to an Apple care rep, ask if phone is still under limited warranty. If it isn't the store may replace the phone for $79* if you can prove its a battery drained issue and you have AppleCare protection plan. They will make you perform some troubleshooting steps prior to replacing, but if the issues with your battery persist afterwards theyll replace it through their repair center. Things to try first before calling them... 1. Power cycle your phone (off and on) 2. Change settings on your phone such as how often your email checks for new arrivals. 3. Change settings on your apps, some apps may be running and you're not using it 4. Turn off Bluetooth and WIFI when not utilizing 5. Recalibrate your battery (allow it to die, then charge overnight while still powered off. 6 Restore your phone from back up through your computer 7. Restore from factory settings If the issue persists after this, and you have all of that to tell the rep, they will send you to the store, or set it up for replacement... If you take it to them they wil ask if you backed it up, cause they are going to give you a NEW PHONE for the $79 Apple Care protection plan price of faulty battery. i have an iphone 5c for almost 2 years now and i used and charged it a lot. three weeks ago i noticed the battery started draining really fast and the phone was charging really fast as well. yesterday i got the battery replaced and it cost a lot of money but the battery is still draining and charging too fast. does anyone know why?

One cycle means a full charge from 0%-100% charge, or 2 charges from 50%-100%, or 4 charges from 75%-100%...A battery with a cycle count up to 300 should have a capacity of 80%+ remaining. A cycle count up to 400-500 can still be called "healthy" in most cases. Above this the maximum capacity is probably at a noticeable low level that it is time to replace the battery.So no, they are not bad for a used battery, but the battery is certainly not new either.

It only runs faster in the sense that if you don't have a functioning battery and it is not plugged in it won’t run at all.If you are referring to the patch Apple introduced to keep your phone from shutting off because of a defect in the battery, that is something entirely different from what you actually asked. Replacing the battery will keep the patch from temporarily throttling the CPU when it is on battery only power and there are a lot of tasks going on. Keep in mind your phone returns to normal processing speed as soon as the demands on the processor lessen anyway, so replacing the battery is really not the answer to your problem.
Iphone 5 logic board replacement?
I recently woke up to a water damaged phone and attempted to get it fixed by a friend. He was not able to fix it. He replaced the battery and charging dock which to me means it has to be the logic board. I took the phone apart and cleaned it with 70% alcohol and it still does not work. I don't see any signs of corrosion. I am going to attempt to replace the logic board but I am confused as to which one to get. I searched on eBay and there are $150 ones that come with chips and $20 ones that are bare. Does it matter which one I get? And if I get the bare one will the old chips from the old logic board still be good?

I sent my phone off 3 days ago they said they were sending me a new one (iPhone 5) but they received it 2days ago and has been stuck on product replacement pending since ... I just wanna know what's taking so long are they still gonna send me one of what thanks !!! Reason I sent it back was because it was stuck in reboot mood and they said it wasn't fixable and they would send a replacement
