Iphone won't download emails?
I've got the same problem. If I access my emails on my laptop there is no problem, I can load and view everything. Strange thing is having deleted etc on my laptop, my aYahoo email account updates everything on my Iphone 3GS, ie, the Trash folder updates with deleted emails, however new emails will not load into my Inbox. It just displays downloading 1 of 4 and then nothing appears. I'm a techno dweeb so any help would be greatly appreciated......

Can I send an email directly to someone's email address with iMessage or through the iphone messages app?
IMessages are delivered to a iMessaging application, not an email application. If you want to send an email, just send an email. If you want to send a message on an iDevice to be delivered to an iDevice, use iMessage. This is similar to asking if you can put a letter in an envelop with a stamp and stick it in the fax machine for delivery. The message creation and the delivery mechanism are tied together in normal usage. If you really have a specific need to juggle services like this, it will involve some number of intermediate steps.
I am getting a Yahoo! server unavailable error on my new iphone 5?
I just tried this and it worked for me: Close the mail app on the iphone and go to a computer, sign in to your yahoo mail account and do the verification that it pops up. If there is no such thing that pops up then go back to your iphone and do the following: 1.) Delete the yahoo mail account on your iphone. 2.) Add mail account using "other" instead of "Yahoo!" and setup as IMAP account. 3.) Use the following information: - username MUST include @yahoo.com at the end - incoming server = imap.mail.yahoo.com - outgoing server = smtp.mail.yahoo.com - always retype your password
How do I mark all my emails as read?
if your UNREAD emails are intermittent you can click on VIEW above your inbox emails and click on UNREAD and it will bring all of them to the top. =======================================... place a check mark to the left of the first one and then scroll down to the last one....hold the SHIFT key while placing a check mark to the left of the last one....this will place a check mark to the left of all in between. =======================================...
