iPhone says its storage is full, but I have over 10 GB left. How do I fix it?

Are you sure it is the iPhone saying its storage is full and not iCloud.A lot of people get confused between the actual storage on an iPhone and the iCloud storage. You get 5GB free from Apple and when that is full you will get messages advising you of this.

IPhone 6 storage problem? Says memory is full?

I have a 16gb iPhone 6 and earlier today I got a message saying that the storage on my phone is almost full. Under usage settings it says I have used 12GB of storage, however under storage management, the very few apps I use, and the pictures I have, only add up to about 1.5GB. I don't have any videos, I deleted all my safari history, and text messages, and it still says my storage is full. It even tells me that I have 0 bytes available. I know this is false, and it's making it so I can't take pictures, download apps, or even update to the latest iOS because it says I don't have enough space. Anyone know what is causing this, and how to fix it?

Why do I have only 500 mb used on my iPhone and it says it's storage is full?

I didn't quite get the question, but I am assuming that you don't have that much of data on your iPhone but it still says ‘storage is full’.If that's the question, then this is because of the cache, temp files et. If you're using Instagram for example, when the app is opened and few posts were loaded for the first time, they actually download to the iPhone and show up.There is no option to remove this data to free up the storage space on the iPhone. But, there is an another way to clean this part of the storage. Follow these steps,AssumingiPhone’s storage is 16 GB.Free space left is 200MB.Now, try to download an app from the App Store that is over 2 GB or so. Yes, the app will start to download even if your iPhone has 200MB, free. While the app is being downloaded in the background it'll also clean up the cache that is on the iPhone.Once the app reaches the maximum storage level on your phone, usually after 50 - 70% of the download competes, it'll throw an error or you can simply stop the download. Now go to storage and check what's your free storage. A lot of free space would come up after this giant app download. For any reason if the free space doesn't show up, please restart the iPhone.

My iPhone keeps saying 'storage full', I am using 16GB iPhone 6 but I didn't install much Apps. Sometimes take photo. What should I do? Should I switch to 64Gb iPhone 6s?

Your iPhone may have lots of temporary files and cache that you can clear up to free some space. To magically free up some extra space on your iPhone or iPad, go to iTunes on your iPhone or iPad and attempt to rent a movie! Make sure the size of the movie is greater than the free space on your iPhone or iPad.For example the Lord of the Rings extended editions in 1080p is 9.91GB. Tap to rent – but don't worry, you won't be charged.Instead the iOS warning box will appear saying you do not have enough space. Hit Ok to exit or Settings to check how much space has been freed up.If you hit your home button, you can see your iPhone working through different apps, graying them out and replacing their names with "Cleaning..." This likely means that your phone is removing a bunch of unused data and things like cookies, caches and historiesSource Reddit and Mashable. You can also use my Split Screen App DuMore to view two things at once or do two tasks on one screen. This allows you to delete several apps like all your social networking apps to free up tons of space.

Why does it say I don't have storage?

My iPhone 5C, ios7.4 says I don't have enough storage. I have around 40 songs. Only 300 pictures. 10 short videos. And 13 apps with barely any gb.
Help? Why is this happening?
