Is 127/77 Blood Pressure Good

Is 127/77 blood pressure good?

Hello.

I'm 18 year old boy. From around 12th year I've had
a condition called pectus excavatum, where basically
you chest is sunken. It's not mild but also not really bad,
and doctors said it might only be a estetic problem and
nothing else. If I'd feel pain or anything I should tell them.

So, I'm 18 yo, around 173cm high and weight 60kg.
I'm a kind of person that gets freaked our by any medical thing
so I usually messure my pressure for past time.

Today I had 127/77. Is that bad?

Then just 1 hour ago I went exercising and after some time
I messured it and it was 118/78.
I try to exercise everyday. 3 days a week 40 min, and
4 days a week just 25 min.

So is 127/77 bad? What about 118/78?
Thx all.

Is my 127/77 blood pressure good?

I am 19 year old girl, I am skinny to normal and I never take in any caffeine (or at least, none that I know of). I also do not smoke, and I ride my bike for about 5km a week (that's all my exercise).

Is my 127/77 blood pressure good or bad? My dad and mom both have high blood pressures so I don't know.

My blood pressure 196/92. Should I go to the hospital?

192 is extremely extremely high. 92 isnt so bad, but the 192 is extremely extremely high. extremely high blood pressure may damage your blood vessels all around the body as well as your kidneys as liquid is pushed through the kidneys at such a high pressure.

A systolic blood pressure over 180 or diastolic b.p. over 110 is considered a HYPERTENSIVE CRISIS

Yes, I think you should go to the ER right now.

they will probably adminster antihypertensive medications to titrate your blood pressure down by several points over the next few days. sudden drop in blood pressure may lead to a heart attack or a reflex tachycardia.

then you should be put on a maintenance dose of antihypertensive medications to control your blood pressure.

Is it ok for a 35 year old male to have a blood pressure of 127/77 mmHg and pulse reading of 71?

That is pretty much as normal as you can get. Most people don’t realize that BP varies all the time as your body adjusts to rest, stress, effort, and the environment. If this is a resting pressure it is fine, if you just ran 3 miles, it is excellent! Of course, if you are concerned about something about your health your Doctor is a better place to ask - and there are no stupid questions, or embarrassing ones, after all s/he has heard anything you can come up with and also has rules of confidentiality. Basically, if your resting pressure gets in to the 140’s over the upper 80’s it might be time to have that talk. Heart rate can be 60’s to 90’s, but I have taken care of athletes with heart rates in the 30’s that were fine (big strong heart muscle), whereas that is an emergency situation in a person without that strength training history.

A blood pressure reading (<120/80) is considered Normal. If your blood pressure is between 140/90 and 160/100, you have hypertension stage, If your blood pressure is above 160/100, then you have more severe hypertension and you are much more at risk of cardiovascular disease, heart failure, stroke and kidney disease. The readings of 121 to 139 systolic or 81 to 89 diastolic are considered prehypertension, a warning that blood pressure may soon rise into the danger zone.I think you got well know about it, If you really want to control the blood pressure, There is a program that I know, you can watch this video to know about it.

Is 151/88 considered high blood pressure? What to do if this is the case?

your blood pressure should be under 140/90. if the reading was in your doctor's office, have it
taken at home or at a local pharmacy. many people have "white coat syndrome" where they
register high in the doctor's office but normal at home. my pressure is 115/75 but has been
as high as 150/100 in a doctor's office. if you're obese, lose weight and you won't need medication.
if you're not overweight, you'll probably have to take BP medication.

My grandfathers blood pressure is 208/91 what should he do?

It's far too high. He needs to see a Doctor. If this is an average reading this it is within treatment range. Normal BP is <120/80. The high the BP, the greater the stroke risk. Make sure he makes an appointment to see his Doctor.
