I'm going to buy this laptop soon and I really love to play games such as League of Legend, Left 4 Dead that type of games. I wonder if this laptop can run this type of games without any problems or lag. I don't know much about laptop and I can't find any good review yet so I really need help asap ! Thank you very much

You can get all the high performance hardware you want, but as soon as you have a slow hard drive in the mix everything will bottleneck. If the hard drive is swapped for a solid-state drive (SSD) it will make a dramatic improvement.

Acer Aspire Switch 10 is a good product in the price range of 250-300 Dollars. Though i do not appreciate its sound quality, it is good for web browsing and preparing reports and most importantly it has a very good Battery life of around 7 hours. so, it is a best buy as far as balancing the price and device configuration is concerned. If you wish to watch video also then go for Switch 11 which is more than an inch bigger to that of switch 10.

It depends on your specifications ?The Acer Aspire 5742 is a product line . It includes many different configurations. As in another answer , the game requires a second generation core cpu or a phenom 2 . That laptop includes a first gen core i5 , but it shouldn’t be much of an issue . What’s more problematic is the graphics card however . Your laptop may not include one , and even the configs that do sport an entry level gpu such as a gt540m , which do not meet the minimum specification of a gtx 460 or above.RAM might also be an issue , depending on how much your computer has , although RAM requirements are usually exaggerated by the developers.Given the information provided in the OP , i would say that it is not capable of running FIFA 2017.

But the specifications that you have provided suggest that you can upgrade to Windows 10. If your device is eligible for the free upgrade, you should see the update get downloaded automatically via the Windows Update Service. If it doesn't, open up Command Prompt with Administrator and type in "wuauclt.exe/updatenow". It should force the Windows Updater to start the process. If even this fails, it means that your device has not been made compatible by the manufacturer itself, better contact Acer's Tech Support.Coming to the question of whether or not you should upgrade, I don't see why not. Windows 10 is an awesome OS, combining the good of both Windows 7 and 8.1 and eliminating the bad. It boots up faster, uses less battery (depending upon your settings of course), has a ton of new features and above all its free.
