I’d like to look into the subject from a slightly different perspective. I have founded and mentored a few companies. Getting to MVP(minimum viable product) with a seed round is very important. Come to stand up meetings and get your milestones met.I’ve hired many companies from Canada, Brazil, India, Russia and Ukraine. Unfortunately, many outsourcing teams don’t work as smooth as expected, so when we launched a new, big project (Fintech platform) about 4 years ago, I wasn’t sure if I should outsource it or not. However, my friend from another New York company (working in gaming business) recommended his friends from The Software House (TSH) located in Poland.At the beginning, we hired two developers to build an MVP. And they did an amazing and professional job! What struck me the most was that they weren’t just code monkeys – weren’t afraid to tell us what we’re doing wrong and to propose a better solution. Within the first three weeks, one of the developers told me, I think there might be a better way to handle this and wrote me a two page email on how to accomplish it. I was actually shocked because most outsourcing developers want to stretch the timeline. He wanted to shorten it. Lastly, being a security tester I was sure I would find some mega vulnerabilities/exploits during my code review. It turned out really well. Mostly just issues that were new that week.On top of that, there is little to no language barrier. While we dealt with Visa, Mastercard, banks and security companies, we never had to organise three-way calls, as the guys from TSH talked with them directly. I had 4 offers when I started motherson sumi as Java Developer with high hopes on the new year day.After onboarding they informed us biometric system is present so we have to check in before 9.15 am .So later we got to meet our manager and team on that day only. Our team consist of 1 support guy,10 or 12 developers, 1 tester.(Seriously guys 1 tester).They presented a list of scenarios of coding standard.After that manager started telling his life stories and all http://crap.It was 7.15 pm till he speak his crap.After that we informally met our teammates who told told us that we have to come regularly on saturday and sometime sundays. Entry is 9.15 am and we can never leave before 7.30 that too after asking permission from manager who was trying to be technical but he didnt knew anything a layman can tell that.Second day,They dont have seats for employees. (Seriously ). For a team of 15 they had a very small 10,10 conference room like govt school computer lab with 6 cpu.Rest of us has to sit in waiting area where job aspirant who came for interview sit with us.We were alloted a machine and sat there in waiting room that too not together.Each members sit away from each other as no seats.They they got a standup call....where I got to know I will be doing UI work .I NEVER mentioned any UI language in my CV .I was hired as a Java Developer.This was my breaking point. Where has kt sessions gone I dont knew.They asked us too study bootstrap or angular at night in one day and come tomorrow with basic knowledge of that. In one night that too when they free us at 8 pm.What they want i didnt knew.They alloted me a UI screen to be developed.No project KT,No architect to design project,No proper analyst,No proper testing (1 tester),they are not related to agile from a mile distance.They call themselves a CMMI level company .Non capable people just 3,4 yr experience deciding the design of project.I dont what kind of product they will develop with this ideology.No culture of employees whatsoever,regular saturday sunday working,I felt the pain of labourers for the first time.I cant handle it so i resigned.

Which company is best, Wipro or Infogain?

There are a lots of reviews about Wipro so i will tell you about Infogain. I started here from bootcamp and it is almost one year i am working with Infogain.Now it totally depends upon you, what makes a company better. Is it learning, money, work hours, etc ?As per me it is learning and somewhat money.At Infogain there is lot of learning for sure. I worked on .net and learnt many things. Being a fresher you will atleast get technical bugs to fix of some complex product (Not sure if you will get it in Wipro) which greatly enhances your debugging skills and eventually learning. Most projects follow agile methodology and thus SCRUM along with client interaction is also possible. Food quality and work-life balance is good.Money-wise i won't say Infogain is the company to join. Since it is growing, every penny is investigated in it's betterment and not for the workers, appraisal takes years to happen. Working hours are flexible and you have weekends off, so no problem there.Two more things which matter are : Luck and Hardwork. Deployment in the project where there is not enough learning will take you nowhere and that's luck. But after deployment if you are not pro-active and not doing hard-work you will never be able to make it up in corporate world, that's your fault. So choose your company wisely and wherever you go just do your best and be a learning machine.Thanks.Good luck.

PROS :1. Very friendly environment2. Helpful people all around you. When I joined as a fresher and given a project to work on, I was lost in all the departments and tools and application that he company works with. But whomever I approached, be it my Senior Project Manager, Manager or a random employee, the moment I said I am a fresher, I was well received and they spent liberal amount of time explaining me how things work.3. Office Hours : There is no strict office hours. 6 hours per day is a minimum while 8 hours is highly recommended. Most of the people come around 12 in the noon. So its a plus if you are not a morning person and like to sleep till 9–10 AM4. The company is new in using newer tools and languages like agile, machine learning, etc so its a good opportunity for employees as well.5. Work Load : is not very hectic and you have very well balanced work-life balance. Even if you are assigned some work, the deadlines are liberal and there is no one to sit on your head for constant monitoring6. Hierarchy : there is no formal distance between an employee working at entry level and a senior manager. It is not as good as startups, but its still pretty good. You can talk to your managers by walking up to him almost any time and he won’t mind it at all.7. Parties : There are too many parties, events, team builds going around all the time. The venue decided are quite generous. It happens in a 5 star hotels like Hilton or some very good resorts.CONS:Sometimes, no work pressure is not a good thing.I was not asked which department would I like to join based on my language preference, instead I was given a very new tool to work on.
