Is Becoming Chartered Accountant In India Difficult Than Other Countries

Why is it very difficult to pass for a chartered accountant in India as compared to other developed countries?

If I'm You, I will not compare Indian educational system with any other [developing] country, that too w.r. to Chartered Accountancy. Let me straightly come to the point.Who said passing CA is difficult ? It is definitely not as tough as studying MBBS & becoming a Doctor but CA requires a lot of dedication from your end. These were the words that were told by my Dad before joining the course- "CA shall be done as a Tapas with almost zero deviations while pursuing the course. If you can promise that to yourself, then go ahead. . . Else, try something else."Passing or Flunking a course has nothing to do with country or the entity which conducts the examinations. It all depends on the student's level of understanding the subject. Once passing the CPT / IPCC, students are expected to join Article-ship & understand the theory which they had studied til then / about to study for the Final in a practical way. One may not get complete exposure of the entire curriculum, but it will help the student for at least 25 - 30% in their examinations.Tell me how many students take the article-ship seriously and work for the entire duration of training ? Majority wants to mug-up the syllabus & write the examinations by claiming 'dummy' training period.CA is an examination which expects the student to be well-verse with the syllabus & has got expert level knowledge. That comes only when the student has taken the training properly. My words to you, my friend, "prepare well - you will not have reasons anymore to complain".

Is becoming a chartered accountant very difficult for students passing 10+2 with science?

I am qualified to write this answer.Being a hardcore science student from class 8 itself I knew nothing about commerce not even the debit credit entries. After unsuccessful attempts in engineering exams I shifted to commerce although was facing resistance from my family(that's a different story). So what did I do?Studied hardLearnt from the basicsTook proper tutions Believed in myselfAimed high of getting a rankNo one hoped that I'll clear CPT also but hard work paid. And today am standing as a Chartered accountant with Rank 3 in CPT EIRC, Rank 1 in Accounts group( yes accounts) 1 with 65% marks in IPCC- first attempt, Final groups cleared in one attempt each.So is it tough ride after being a science student. Not at allRather you have benefits-Benefits of being  able to think logicallyNot being the person who want to memorise everything without understandingThinking deepGrasping things faster.Understanding and then asking counter questions. Excellent grip over nos. So move forward, aim high, work hard, you'll succeed. All the best.

I want to be an artist/writer but my parents...?

i want to become an artist and a writer. It's my dream, something i'd love to do. I
dont care about money as long as i can make enough to support my family and
have normal life. I need nothing more. I'm a 16 year old boy and having a really
hard time gathering up the courage to tell my parents and my bro about it. My dad, he wants me to be something big, like a doctor or an engineer. He loves
me, dont get me wrong but he goes on saying 'art will get you nothing in this
country' and implies heavily that he does not want to go with this career. My mom, gives me rating in my writings and arts and tells me what to improve on
but hates it when i get too artsy, which i am. She wants me to become something
big as well like my genius brother. My brother, who is currently at univ. Is studying for being a Chartered Accountant.
He really wants me to get high marks in school, go to university and do something.
He doesn't despise my arts and he loves my arts (infacts he even asks me for
some) but he still would be dissapointed. I really want to persue my goal. My parents, though will be very dissapointed with
me. My dad, for sure would say straight up 'no' and my mom would probably give
me a lecture. I don't want to break their dreams of me being big( by big, i mean
careers like doctor and such) but i don't have any interests in those things. I want
to entertain people with my stories and arts (graphic novels) and not sit behing
some dark alley beside the compuder, getting clusterf----- with my mind. I don't like math, i don't like science. I don't have interests in them. My dreams is to be
famous, entertain people and do something i love. How do i gather up the courage
to tell my parents? Please don't say 'just do it'. You don't know how heavy the
situation is. They will never have the same faith and hope for me. I might even get
kicked out. I want to atleast not strain any respect from my parents.

Which stream is the better of the two:- Engineering or chartered accountant. In which stream better salary can?

well u can earn sufficient money in both the streams.
it totally depends upon a individual capability how much salary he can earn.
E.G. by being a ordinary engineer u can earn around 30 to 40K, same can be said about by being an ordinary accountant u can earn 20-30K . *the figures are really vague*
so more important question is what u would like to be, where u think u can perform the best, if u think u r really good in accounts don't get bored by terms like taxes computing, spread sheet, debits, credits go for accountancy.
Speaking of engineering is again really a vague term , there are different streams of engineering like mechanical, computer again software/hardware, civil, electronics, electrical, mechatronics, automobile, metallurgy, aviation and so on..... find out what are ur likings before joining any stream.

Yes it is more about what u like, as u can earn sufficient and good and excellent in either cases.
Note that ur earnings would be as per ur capability, ur capability will depend upon ur interest in ur job, ur interest will depend upon ur likings.
So before choosing the field take a time out, think over ur likings, dislikes, may be take an attitude test to help u choose the career.

Difference between enterprise, trading and etc...?

If your friend is working for himself, a business name with "Enterprise" sounds nice (enterprise is sort of a 'venture')....If your friend has a partner or partners, I suggest a "partnership ".....When you have expanded your business and have a lot of customers, you can then "incorporate" your business into a private limited company (Sdn. Bhd.)..I suggest that you seek assistance from a firm of chartered Accountants for advice, as there are different legal and most important, taxation issues involved....You need to have the services of an accountant anyway when you start your renovation business...so ask for advice first.....

Can India become a super power by 2020 or will it fail like the Indian cricket team failure in World Cups?

Apj.Abdul kalam had a dream in him to take India ,to a super power, but he has not taken any action .All the super power nation will launch their hands in India, and then we can presume that we have reached to super power. In onother 2 years all the persons who are not working in any software industry have to find way to villages. The city will become costly.Atleast now you are telling, the barber, the maid are charging high>one they will tell their service is no more to you only to Software brethren. Why you compare Cricket with politics. There are only 11 people have cheated us ,here humpty number of politician ,educated lawyers ,doctors .chartered accountants ,IAS,IPS and almost all educated community thrashing the country according to their wims and fancies, in such a state I have . no thought in my mind to create this country to a super power,my super boses doesnot allow me to think.never allow me to feel free, they are treating me as their slaves, and want to be their slaves, how can I imagine a super power India. We are going to celebrate 60 th Independence day.It is not Independence day,it is slavery day.,

Which is more difficult - CA or CFA?

CA should not be compared with CFA. The main focus of CA is accounting, whereas the main focus of CFA is finance. However, if someone still wants to compare, lets look at the facts -A) PASS PERCENTAGESChartered Accountancy - 1000 people decide to do CA.CPT pass % - 40%;IPCC - 12%;Final CA - 8%.Therefore, result - 1000*40%*12%*8% = 4 people become successful in the first attempt. Pass rate – 0.4%Chartered Financial Analysis - 1000 people decide to CFA.Level 1 - 42%;Level 2 - 45%;Level 3 - 50%.Therefore, result – 1000*42%*45%*50% = 94 people become successful in the first attempt. Pass rate – 9.4%_________________________________________________________________B) TIME REQUIRED TO STUDY1. Chartered Accountancy - An average CA final student during his 1st attempt puts in – 10 hours study daily for minimum 4 months. Basically Time required to clear Final CA - 10 hours * 135 days(including exam days) = 1350 hours2. Chartered Financial Analysis - As per CFA Candidate Survey 2017, candidates spend 320 hours per level on average. Therefore, total hours required to clear ALL exams = 320*3 = 960 hours!! Lesser than what is required for FINAL CA ITSELF!____________________________________________________________________C) PAPER PATTERN1. Chartered Accountancy – Written throughout. Element of luck reduces. Though keeping in mind the ICAI, element of bad luck is always there!2. Chartered Financial Analysis – MCQ’s without negative marking. 33% probability that a random guess can be the correct answer. I may just cross the line due to my good luck. Obviously, this accounts for a very small percentage of people.___________________________________________________________________I am not saying that the CFA exam is easy. It is considered the toughest wall street exam. It is well respected throughout the world. However, to compare it with CA is an exercise in futility. CA is much tougher.
