Which generation of Pokémon do you like the most and why?
For me:Generation II. The first generation games were a sensation. Then they made a sequel that was ten times better. Game Freak took a great, but flawed game and made it even more amazing. Everything this generation introduced made the games more enjoyable to play.Generation IV. Much like Generation II, this generation is high on my list simply for the gameplay elements that vastly improved the experience. Most notably, online capabilities. It opened the world of Pokemon right up. Catching them all was possible now. Also, the physical/special split made battling that much more visceral.Generation I. Simply because it started it all. The core gameplay was established and they're still fun today in their own way. Pick up what is essentially the retooled version - Pokemon Let's Go - and see what I mean.Generation V. This generation is overlooked sometimes because it shared a console with IV. But the small quality-of-life additions to the mechanics and other bells and whistles were much appreciated. A joy to play.Generation VII. Were it not for the obtrusive cutscenes that interrupt actual gameplay, this generation would be higher. I thought that the Island Trials were a genius idea that shook up the formula just enough to feel like a whole new adventure. It's just a shame that there wasn't more freedom to explore.Generation VI. Wonder Trading was an amazing idea, the PSS perfected online capabilities, and the 3D graphics in battles along with Pokemon Amie made your Pokemon feel more real. Unfortunately, the traditional storyline was getting stale at this point.Generation III. It's a shame to put this so low, seeing as I have a lot of fond memories for these games. The Hoenn region is still my favourite and 60 FPS gameplay is sorely missed. But, this generation was the first to remove features (day and night), began with many classic Pokemon being impossible to obtain and catching them all was an expensive, frustrating task. These still aren't bad games though, but, as many of my fellow local Pokenerds would tell you I would say that because I'll never admit any Pokemon game could be truly bad.

When you play a video game... or encode a movie, or even just open Google Chrome, the processors in your laptop (the CPU and GPU.... or maybe the APU if you are in an AMD state of mind) work harder to continue to provide you with the best experience they can. When the processors work harder, they generate more heat. When the temperature of the laptop rises due to the processors working harder, the fan(s) will spin faster to shed the increased heat.Now... here is what the heat sink in a laptop looks like if you don't clean it for two or three years.When the dust and debris builds up between the heat sink and the fan... and it will... the fan can't push air through the heat sink. The laptop cannot shed the heat, and the fan runs faster for longer periods of time, because the laptop temperature is very high... which makes the laptop crank up the fan. So, unless this laptop is brand new, it is likely that PART of the reason your laptop runs slower when you play video games and such, because it cannot shed heat properly.Then again, I know nothing about your laptop. You could have purchased a Special Buy Sale Laptop for $300, and you could be expecting it to play Assassin's Creed.
