Is Comrade Obama Letting The Illegal Aliens In To Strengthen The Democrat Voting Base

Why didn't Republicans build Trump’s wall when they had control of both houses of Congress? Does Trump really want it built or is something else going on here?

Some answers are grasping ar a loophole in your question. They correctly point out that Trump never had control of all three houses. So lets correct your question to: Why didn't President Trump build this wall when his party had a majority in both the House and Senate? Does he really want it built or is something else going on here?Okay? So, that’s a very good question. The answer, is that, as noted by others, he never had control of either branch of Congress. Trump has always been too divisive, and his election too questionable and marginal to claim any sort of mandate to rally behind, so Congressional alliance is no deeper than their own self-interest.And many have suggested that if the wall were ever actually built his base would lose interest. So it seems he was more interested in rallying for the wall than actually getting it, and he missed his chance as he loses House majority. His funding end-run ties-up in a quagmire of Congressional disapproval and legal challenges and the land allocation and environmental impact challenges tie-up any real groundbreaking well past his term.Probably, a new POTUS takes office in 2021, cancels the stupid wall, and maybe even plunders its coffers to fund some real emergency.

With Republicans outpacing Democrats in early voting, will the "blue wave" still happen for the midterm elections?

I have a SUV that comfortably seats 12 people. Everyday since early voting started in Tennessee I take people to early vote. I don't ask who they vote for, but I live in a 83% Republican county, so most of them are voting for GOP candidates. I will continue to offer this service through the early voting cycle which runs until 1 November. One of three early voting locations for Washington County Tennessee.I will also be taking people to the polls on election day as well.I'm not the only one, I know,of at at least 7 other conservatives that are doing the same thing. I haven't seen any liberals doing this, but then again we don't have many.My goal is to counter the liberal vote in Nashville and Memphis and return a Republican Senator to DC that represents all of Tennessee. I also want to continue having a Conservative Governor in Nashville. There isn't a blue wave coming, but a red one has arrived. With each passing day it appears there is a greater chance that the Republicans will hold the House, the Senate is pretty much a given at 53 seats or better (55/45 is a definite possibility). We almost always see a significant loss and often a flip of the House in the first midterm of an Administration. It just doesn't appear to be happening. I'm not saying the democrats won't take control of the House, but it will be slim if they do. It surely won't inspire words like landslide and mandate to be used by legitimate journalists.Liberals have over played their hand from the Kavanaugh Confirmation Debacle, the #metoo demonization of all men, calls and acts of violence, calls for harassment of both conservative voters and conservative elected officials and their staffs, and just out right blatantly choosing partisan politics over the bipartisan needs of the nation.A liberal win in the House will allow Trump to blame any economic downturn on the liberals, as we have had continued growth for 8 year under a Republican house.President Obama lost 63 seats in his first midterm. President Trump may lose 20 or less.President Trump is polling higher than President Obama at this point in their administrations. When is the blue wave coming, where is it hiding?Everyone please vote! Everyone help someone else to vote as well!

What Democrat should run for president in 2020?

I’m slightly left of center, have voted and campaigned for both Republican and Democrat candidates, as well as served and campaigned with third-parties. My philosophy and moral positions are stringent and strong, but I understand the need for flexibility and compromise in politics, especially at a national level. Given that, I honestly believe the best candidate for the DNC to run in 2020 is Kirsten Gillibrand.I have some things I take issue with about her, but in general I think she’s a relatively moderate Democrat who still has strong credentials with Progressives. She has successfully campaigned in the past by running to the right, beating out a Republican in a hotly contested House election. While still a junior Senator, she’s been in Senate for 9 years, was previously in the House, and has strong ties to establishment DNC. While no longer a member of the Blue Dog Coalition, she has credibility as a moderate and that makes it possible for her to effectively campaign to centrists and to #NeverTrump Republicans. On top of all that, she’s a woman, which helps to appease the identity politics obsessed far-Leftists who’ve nearly taken over the DNC.What Democrats seem to have never learned is that winning elections is about getting votes. I hope they learn their lesson and we don’t end up with round 2 of Trump, but somehow I feel like it’s a strong likelihood they will end up once again running someone who is repugnant to centrists and anyone who’s ever voted Republican, meaning that they’ll end up losing along similar breakdowns to what happened in 2016. During Obama’s campaign, his strength was giving hope to people across demographics and having the charisma to reach people, this allowed him to be a palatable candidate to many of the same people in the middle who ended up voting for Trump in 2016.The most important thing Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders can do in 2020 is to endorse the DNC candidate, stump for them in districts that view them favorably, and otherwise to keep quiet.

Why doesn't Nancy Pelosi care more about our country? Why doesn't Nancy Pelosi work with our president to end the shutdown?

I was glad to see about half of these commenters have Pelosi pegged, even if they like her or believe she cares about the country. Her only priority it to continue the zero sum game of the Swamp and be sure Trump has no successes that she could prevent. That doesn’t sound so hot. In fact, she knows she will be lucky to last two years as speaker. When Trump said he would bring jobs back, at least O’Bama said Hows he gonna do that. She had not done anything for jobs or industry. In fact, when we got a tax cut she was nasty and said it was too little, a knee-jerk stupid attack (as if the Zero we got in the previous eight years was better) and then, turning herself into a liar again, she said she wanted to take the tax cuts back. Let’s see. First they were too small. Then they should be repealed and taxes raised. OH yeah this is the same woman that wanted OBama care passed without reading it. Anybody that thinks she is any better than Trump or any other politician is just plain suckered. People are fleeing California. Maybe she won’t last that much longer as a Senator, much less Speaker. She doesn’t care about anything other than making Trump look as bad as she can. She has voted for border enhancement before, but now that it is a Trump policy, she is against it. How transparent to you have to be? Doesn’t matter if you are a completely biased liberal. They won’t even answer the question, just go back to attacking Trump, same as Nancy.
