You can drink any water at any time of day at any temperature, any given amount of time before or after any other activity or food. Everything you swallow reaches body temperature in seconds, so water temperature has zero impact on health. And, again, you can drink water literally anytime. You never have to wait for anythjng before or after drinking.Drink water when you are thirsty. Any time, any temperature. Do not drink water when you are not thirsty. It really is that simple to be perfectly hydrated.

Should I go to the doctor for this?If you have trialed coffee and no coffee, keeping everything else exactly the same, and you can’t fall asleep until 4 am only when you drink coffee, then I think the obvious answer is to stop drinking the coffee. If you are dysfunctional without the coffee (ie you have become caffeine-dependent), you may go through a rough adjustment period while your body is weaning off the caffeine.If, after the adjustment period, with no coffee, you are still having sleep problems, then I would suggest other factors may be in play and it may be worth seeing a physician about this.As another answer noted, here are some Sleep Hygiene tips that may be helpful for you to review, to see if there are other factors you could easily fix to help with any difficulties sleeping. Personally, I would try to get all of these factors “off the table”, so to speak, before seeing a physician. Because if I were the physician, I would recommend starting treatment right there—with sleep hygiene and laying off the coffee and any other caffeine intake.The general recommendation for caffeine intake in the setting of insomnia is to stop all caffeine intake by 8 hours before your anticipated bedtime. K so I can't drink anything with milk in it in the morning it else I vomit. I have no problem eatting cheese or drinking milk any other time of the day but not in the morning. So why do I vomit in the morning if I drink milk .

Why am I puking hourly after drinking?

Last night, and many other times after drinking, I have gone to sleep fully aware that I'd probably get sick in the morning. For whatever reason, my body almost always needs to empty itself the following morning, no matter how much I drink or how drunk I get.

Then, when I wake up, I throw up for between 6-10 hours, getting sick at almost the same time every hour (6:10, 7:10. etc). At this point there's nothing in my stomach except bile (or whatever the yellow stuff is), but I still yakk.

What's causing me to do this, and how can I make it stop? I just get tired of throwing up.

Is it bad to drink Powerade every morning?

The first question would be, are you drinking it during or after a workout in the morning, or just because it's there?

The reason is Powerade is very high glycemic. Plenty of sugar. During or immediately following a workout, it's beneficial as it will replenish glycogen stores.

I wouldn't advise drinking powerade during other times of the day because you'll be constantly raising insulin levels, which over time can decrease your receptors insulin sensitivity.

When you do this to the body, body fat is very easily stored. Obviously this isn't something you want, right?

No, there's no difference between 8pm and 8am. There is a problem if you wake up and start drinking to get drunk on the regular but having a breakfast beer once in a while is no worse than having a happy hour beer once in a while. I've read studies before that suggest certain beers (+ special diet) as an alternative to milk for people who are lactose intolerant.
