Does the zune hd let you surf the internet like the ipod touch does?
The ZuneHD has a internet browser and yes it will let you go to YouTube and myspac and all that. The ZuneHD also has a app store now, not as big as the app store from apple but it's being regulated by Microsoft to make sure there's no stupid apps on the app store. The Appe store has too much junk and Microsoft is taking that into consideration, the only problem is that it takes longer to open the apps then the iPod touch, and the Internet browser is slower then the iPod touch. None the less the ZuneHD is going to be cool and I'm probably going to get one this Christmas since it's only out in USA. The zune HD has just as much as the iPod touch except the apps, and it opens stuff a litle slower, but the screen is crisper, the sound quality is ALOT beter, watching movies are wayyyy better and the photos look fantastic. The zune HD also has HD radio and has more.

Can it? Yes. Will it? No. Someone COULD write a virus for an iPod touch. Nobody has yet. So while it's possible to get a virus, there are no viruses to get right now.

It is possible but very unlikely. The iPod touch is a very secure device. WITHOUT jail breaking the only virus you can get can only access your texts and emails and basically anything you can do unjailbroken but is more hacking related than a true virus. If you do jailbreak however that is a different story because you are taking a secure closed sources operating system and opening it. Once jailbroken you give yourself and potential hackers root access which is very very bad. So you answer is it is possible but very unlikely. Edit: jailbreakme.com is an example of this because it was a website used to jailbreak or "hack" your device. While this vulnerability lasted which it no longer does it could have been used to install a virus. It was also proven in a hacking competition that it is possible. Also ABSOLUTELY no device connected to the internet is impervious to all hacking/virus attempts. The only way to never get a virus is to never install anything except the default programs and stay disconnected from the internet.

my ipod has always been able to use the internet at my house but recently it hasnt worked..it shows that im connected to the wifi but when i go on safari it says its not conected to the internet. i've reset my network settings, restored my ipod and reset my router but nothing works..any suggestions?
