Is It Bad If I Brush My Hair Alot Also On The Corners Of My Head It Is Thin Almost Bald

Is it bad if i brush my hair alot also on the corners of my head it is thin almost bald?

Yes you are brushing your hair too much. Over brushing causes your hair to pull and snap off. You need to start massaging your thin areas with the balls of your fingers while using a natural oil. This process will help the blood to circulate which stimulates the hair follicles which promotes hair growth.

Almost bald at 21......?

Hairline has been receding since like 16 and I started getting a bald spot at 19...Now 21 and even if I shave it with a razor you can visibly tell that the hair on the top of my head is thinner than the hair on my sides. I'm not a big guy, I'm pretty thin with about average height (5'11"). I have hardly gotten any attention from girls since it really started showing. I've really been struggling with some depression for the last year/year and a half so am I pretty much resigned to being that "sad, pathetic, single bald guy" throughout my 20's and 30's? Ya, ya, ya..."girls don't care if you have confidence". That's mostly BS, we are all attracted to people's physical appearance. So is there any hope for me?

Hair thinning only on right side of head?

I'd honestly rather just die than live like that. ...I don't really want my life on Earth to end just yet, though, and I would love to get this taken care of. It's maddening because I'm very healthy and look young like I said, and I haven't even had to go to a doctor since I've been a little kid, and even then I probably didn't really have to go. I think I was probably just taken to a doctor sometimes because that's what parents are told they're supposed to do. I have no health problems except for this, and I think maybe an overactive thyroid gland, but that's it that I know of, but if I can't get this taken care of, I don't know what to do.

Anyway, whatever it is that's wrong with us, I don't think it even has anything to do with common hair loss. I think this is a very unique condition, and I fear that it still might be a medical mystery as to what causes it. If that's the case, then I don't know what to do because *no* doctor is gonna know what they're talking about.

Why is my hair thinning only from right side of the head?

Our hair often has asymmetric qualities. My hair parts naturally on the side, with more hair falling over on the right side of my head. Why? I have no idea. Some combination of my personal habits and genetics.There could be any combination of reasons why you might have thinning hair on your right side. Do you tend to sleep on this side of your head? Maybe the friction of your pillowcase is causing thinning hair, in which case a satin pillowcase will be gentler on your hair follicles. Do you pull or touch your hair more on this side of the head? This might be causing disturbance in your hair oils, stunting growth.Whatever the reason, one option to promote hair growth is a castor oil application. Rub castor oil to the areas that are thinning once a week, directly on to the scalp. This application might require some experimentation depending on your hair type.

I'm 19 and losing about 300 hairs a day? help?

So yeah, I'm 19, male, I straighten my hair almost daily, wash and condition it 5 times a week and think im going thin because I'm losing at least 300 hairs a day. I don't think it is because of what I do to my hair because I lost a lot of hair before I used all these things at least 3 years ago roughly. It doesn't come out in clumps but if I run my fingers through my hair I get about 4 hairs every time and times that by 10 ? that's 40 when I drain the bath theres a lot of hairs. Am I showing obvious signs of going bald? if so what will the NHS offer me for it? I know I will become manically depressed if I lose my hair, I care a lot about my appearance and am currently shiting myself about it :(

I am a 15 year old boy and my hairs are falling I am worried about it what should I do?

This is pretty much an ordinary condition to every males once they enter into puberty, and with very high probability, the major cause is due to the hydrated version of the testosterone (DHT) in your body. There is hardly any safe or easy way to escape from DHT-induced hair-loss.  But remember that hair-fall has to be controlled, even though it can't be avoided. The following steps helps to reduce hair fall:LEVEL-I: Give care for your hair1) Ensure that the hair-fall is not due to any other reason such as dandruff/chlorinated or poor quality water/pollution etc. You are the best person to diagnose this. If any of these is the reason, work out on this to avoid them.  2) Avoid using shampoos that has too much chemicals. It will  kill your hair, and accelerates hair-loss. Anti-dandruff shampoos can be used at times, if suffering from dandruff. 3) Massage hair using ayurvedic/herbal oils once in two days. Wash your hair at least once in two days, with good quality water.4) Do not always think of your hair/hairloss. Thoughts about hair-loss increases rate of hair-loss.5) Reduce the causes of tension in life.  Tension increases hair-loss rate. Give yourself time to exercise, sleep, and chill-out.LEVEL-II: Use biotin tablets6) Tablets that contains biotin such as Keraglo-men, which helps in hair growth can be used, if necessary.  This can improve your situation. These are just vitamin tablets, and have no side effects.LEVEL-III: Inhibit your hormones (not recommended)7) This is a hard step. Consult a hair specialist.  If you are having too much loss, then he might advice to use  Minoxidil-based oil on your scalp or give finasteride tablets. But I do not advice this method, as it creates very bad side effects.  Minoxidil is not a permanent solution to hairfall. Once you stop it, your hair will start to fall again.  Finasteride inhibits the DHT formation, which might affect many of your bodily functions. And also, you are too young for this.LEVEL-IV: Direct Hair Implant8) This is a bit costly, but much safer and effective way to hair-loss.  Hair cells from the scalp in the back side of your head is taken, and implanted to the positions in your head, affected by male pattern baldness. But you are too young for this. This is a close-to-permanent and very effective solution to hair-fall.Remember, there is always a solution if there is a problem. Cheer up and enjoy life.PS: The answer is primarily for males.

Hair loss only on the right side of my head?

hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few. but anyway you can always try and get real results.

year ago my wife suffered from hair loss too and she started trying everything you can imagine to stop her hair loss. the things that really worked for her was:

1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also used herbal treatment.in that case Provillus is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!
