Is It Bad Of Me To Ask For An Ipad Mini For Christmas

Should I ask for an Ipad or Macbook for Christmas?

For christmas this year I am debating on asking for a macbook or an ipad. They just came out with the ipad mini, but also our family computer is the macbook, and I really enjoy using it and I would like to have my own because my sister and mom also use our family laptop. With the laptop it would be good because I have homework, plus my own private computer that is portable, and its a really good computer. With the ipad it had instagram and apps and an okay computer. I don't want to get an ipod because I think I'm getting an iphone next year so that would be a waste.
So: heres what I want from whatever electronic I get:

Good quality
Instagram
very easy to use
portable

do you think it would be too much to ask for the ipad mini and a macbook that i help pay for?

please don't say that I'm spoiled because i'm really not. all I have now is a basic phone, and I use instagram on my moms iphone. thanks for the help!

ps im a 13 year old girl

How do I ask my mom for an Iphone for christmas?

I have 3/4 of the money saved, but I feel guilty even asking her for something small, because for the past 6 months I have been on medicine, and I just now saw how expensive it is, and I feel really guilty.
I also really want an ipod, and I am stuck. Help!

Is it too much to ask my parents for an iPad mini/Tablet for christmas?

I'm 14 years old (almost 15) and I've always wanted an iPad/Tablet. I just got an iPhone and still really want an iPad or a Windows 8 Tablet. By the time christmas comes it will have been a bit over 3 months that they bought me an iPhone and I was wondering if thats too soon to ask for a tablet or iPad mini?? Either of the tablets that I would ask for at $299 & I wouldn't ask for anything else other than maybe add a $10-$15 iTunes card to the list :) So I don't know if $300 worth of presents would be too much... I don't want to seem like a bad kid or ask for too much.

Also, If I do ask for either of those should I add a bunch of little things to the list just incase I don't get either and add them to the top, Or only add those to the list?

I have a 4 year old brother which they will be buying gifts for too.

Should I ask for an iPad mini for christmas?

I'm 15, and this is what I already have:
kindle paper white
iPhone
MacBook
so I really love the kindle, but I don't like that I can't read watt pad on there, and I hate not being able to journal on it. the iPad has a bigger screen & can do that and more, but is it really right for me? I travel a lot because I do very intense volleyball, so I travel for tournaments, my passions are reading and writing, & I love watching netflix. I don't want a kindle fire though, my family has one and I hate the interface.

I recieved an iPad for Christmas, but not the type I wanted. How can I tell my parents to replace the one they gave me?

It’s not at all appropriate to ask your parents to replace it nor will it show that you appreciate their sacrifice. We are experiencing a severe economic recession; things will be much more expensive this year and honestly an ipad is pretty expensive regardless. They are good products that can serve you well in your private or educational endeavors-I’m currently typing this on a mini ipad I’ve had for 6 years that still works beautifully. If you want another model get a job and save up money and thank your parents for their gift.I myself would like the newest model that is larger and has upgrades but I can’t justify the cost when it is expensive, I have a working tablet, and there are other expenditures that are more important (food, utilities, car insurance etc).I received this ipad as a gift from my mom when I was in college when I did not appreciate the value of money and had not worked full-time; now with the passing of time I appreciate her gift all the more. There’s a huge difference between want and need, learn to understand that and value what you do have. Your parents made a huge sacrifice for you and even though it’s not the exact model you want you can still use it and come to enjoy it.I had the same issue but with time I never felt the need to spend my money so senselessly. Work hard to save up for the model you want would be my advice. Perhaps with time you will decide that such expenditure is unnecessary and value your parents gift to you all the more.Take care dear~

Is there Snapchat for the iPad mini?

anything that is available for an ipod is available for the ipad, ipad mini, iphone, etc because they're all part of the same company. so yes snapchat is available for the ipad mini

What is your review of iPad Mini 2?

★★★★★I broke down and got one.My iPad Mini was fine, more than fine, for how I use a tablet. But I knew someone who would benefit from a tablet but couldn't afford a new one, I haven't bought any new computers since last Christmas, and I have a truly great ability to rationalize. So I got one.It was worth it. People often ask why Apple products are so much more expensive than their competitors. No one will have to ask why with the new iPad Mini. It's that good.I didn't think I needed retina display. I was wrong. Everyone needs retina display. It's so much sharper and clearer than my old one, it's like I was doing everything underwater before. It's like getting corrective lenses. It really is amazingly good.Apple has finally found the right anodizing to use for mobile devices. The finish looks fantastic (mine is Space Gray), and is a lot more durable than with the old process. In terms of appearance and finish, the only bad thing about the new iPad and the iPhone 5s is they make you feel like you overpaid for your old ones. The difference isn't as radical as it is with the iPhone (the 5s is jewelry, makes all other phones, including older iPhones, look like high school shop projects) but still gives the distinct impression that everything before it was a failed attempt at something they have now nailed.Battery life is significantly better than my old Mini. Like the 5s, standby time is incredible. It's not a Kindle, but you won't have to charge it nearly as often as you used to. I didn't think I needed the better CPU, either. I was wrong again. Everything is instant. I didn't notice how slow my old one was, but I notice how much faster this one is. Even the Kindle app, which was so slow on Old Mini that I thought Amazon must have sabotaged it in an effort to sell more hardware, is now merely irritating instead of completely unacceptable. I know Apple is going to entice me into upgrading again next year. Something thinner and lighter, with Touch ID. But it's going to be a lot harder to rationalize upgrading next time.

If you could have one special gift this Christmas, what would it be, why?

I’d wish for my whole family to be here at Christmas. Both the dead and the living. I’d love for my father to meet his grandsons, he wanted us to be boys so much, I’d love for my grandmother to meet her great-great grandchildren. That would be so much fun. One of my granddaughters is out in Texas, I’ve only seen her once in three years and we used to be very close. I’d like my in-laws to be there too, both of them were so sweet to me when I married their son. They were good people. I can just imagine my mothers face when she sees my other granddaughters blue and purple hair… that might make her leave early. You never know what you’re going to miss about family until they’re gone and there are no do overs.
