Is It Bad To Shave These Places

Is it bad to shave your chest hair????

First and foremost... you do what YOU like with YOUR body. If you don't want chest hair, get rid of it. I recommend waxing over shaving because it lasts longer and when the hair starts growing back it feels softer than shaving it (shaving makes the hair 'sharp'.) Waxing is kinda painful at first but you get use to it. Plus, shaving seems to increase the risk of infected hair follicles (for me, anyway) which looks yucky (red bumps.)

If you're concerned about what someone else will think of it, the right girl for you won't care... she'll like you for who you are and not your chest hair, or lack thereof. Likewise, if you fall in love with that special gal, you may find that you won't mind letting it grow back if that turns her on. Love can make ya do anything.

Why is it bad to shave your thighs?

After reading all of the answers, I have to say that the urban myth of hair growing back "darker and thicker" is still being used as a reason to not shave certain parts.

This is a big misconception. If you think about it, this rumor really has no basis other than feeling. Your hair will stay whatever color it was before (you know, the color that you were born with) unless you dyed it somehow. Also, it doesn't grow back thicker, it only feels that way because it is freshly cut. Kind of how when you get a haircut and it feels thicker and the ends feel healthier because they are blunt.

Mom and Grandma might be suggesting that you don't shave your thighs because of many reasons. The only bad side is that you could get a cut from shaving there, otherwise, I am not sure what the downfall is.

If you want to shave them, then do so. Otherwise, don't worry about it. Most girls that I know don't have to shave their upper leg as often as they do their lower leg, so even if you start doing this, chances are that you won't have to do it more than once a week even during beach season.

Is it bad to shave a pomeranian?

i recently got a pom puppy he is the sweetest thing ever. He is black and white, and is getting verrrry hot so I want to give him a poodle type shave. Is there any thing I should know regaurding my poms coat or skin? Is it ok to shave him?

Is shaving your legs everyday bad for your skin?

I have used nair, and my legs get super red and itchy. I have also used veet. One thing I forgot to mention is that one time I shaved my legs everyday for a week, and my thigh got all these little red bumps all over it. Thats why I asked if it was bad...

Is it weird to shave in a public restroom at work?

I always wondered about this. I see people shave or even brush their teeth in a public locker room. Like at the gym there is a locker room for people to shower after working out and sometimes they will brush their teeth or even shave in the bathroom.

But what if it was a public bathroom at work? If it were a building that wasn’t a locker room but a bathroom like in a office building or a plaza, would it be weird to shave and brush my teeth in a public bathroom that isn’t my house other than a locker room?

How do I ask a man to shave for me?

You don’t really need to ask, instead just tell him you’d think he was sexier if he shaved. However, be prepared for him to be offended. Most men have at least some body hair. Shaving one’s entire body is a time-consuming process, not something they’re going to have time to do regularly. Also, shaving can easily irritate the skin and cause discomfort.‘Sides, having hair on one’s body is manly. It’s a result of testosterone, which I argue is the compound that causes feelings of “manliness.” Boys don’t have it, men do.Also, there are women who don’t like to shave. Granted, the vast majority of women don’t have much hair on their torso as men do, but still on the arms and legs and…other places. Someone I know was dating a woman who didn’t want to shave these places, citing skin irritation as well as ideological reasons, and he was telling me that at first, it was weird, but he really liked this woman so he gave it a try. He said he got used to it and it wasn’t a big deal.We only think that hairless bodies are sexy because someone taught us that. Hairy bodies are the default, natural state. The good news is that we can learn that human bodies that have their normal, natural hair on them can also be sexy. Give it a shot, you might surprise yourself :)

Is it ok to shave a cat because of fleas? If not, what are some better options for getting rid of the fleas?

Question: Is it ok to shave a cat because of fleas? If not, what are some better options for getting rid of the fleas?Fleas can be a real problem, not just for a cat but for the human(s) living in the same home. Fleas can jump off pets and set up shop in your dwelling. When I was younger and looking for a place to rent I ran across a flea-infested apartment for rent. Gross! I sure didn’t choose it!Yes, you can shave an INDOOR CAT but I wouldn’t recommend doing it to an outdoor cat that gets direct exposure to the sun’s rays. A cat’s skin exposed to the sun’s rays may burn, just like a human’s, and the cat will have problems regulating its body temperature. Indoor cats, though, do not face the same challenges, though they may not be happy with how you or the groomer have made them look.I have written about fleas before: Can I put diatomaceous earth on my cat to kill fleas? Personally I use Revolution which seems to be the main flea killing product available from veterinarians in this part of Ontario, Canada. There are new products being developed and released all the time. There are shapoos you can use to bathe a cat that are supposed to kill fleas. You can even kill fleas the old-fashioned way, searching your cat’s body and pinching them to kill them. I did that for perhaps 40 years before modern treatments were available because I didn’t like the ones full of DDT that were available back then. Whatever you use, make sure it is non-toxic and pet-friendly.Your cat will appreciate your efforts to kill or reduce the number of fleas.Thank you for the A2A.
