What is the cost of a second trimester abortion?
Beleive it or not, the internet didn't have the answer readily available! I have only found answers such as "much more expensive than a first trimester" (which is about $300-$550 normally, but up to $900) or "an innocent baby". Well, I don't really know how much more expensive it would be. And it's not even a baby, it's a fetus, it doesn't even feel anything until 24 weeks in, I doubt... no wait, I'm pretty sure I KNOW no one remembers being a fetus, (heck, I hardly remember anything from before I was 4,) plus it's still not it's own living organism it's still part of the mom. Basically, I just don't want to hear any sh*t about that in the answers. I'll report you. Additional Details: I am trying to figure this out so I can create a comment on a YouTube video.

an abortion at anytime is dangerous, but so is having a baby for some whether its physical and/or emotional. But yes at 15 weeks its considered more dangerous because its not a simple pill or slice to abort the baby. any abortion past the 1st trimester in many states is illegal because of this. if you want to read more about it just go onto some abortion clinic websites, not the websites against abortion though, most will lie to get you to keep your baby. or simply call an ob/gyn that performs them and ask about it.

Since abortion is legal...?
I think that abortion should be illegal regardless of the situation because there are other alternatives. My cousin was raped and got pregnant, but she put her baby up for adoption at birth and he lives with a good family about 30 minutes from her. He is a teenager now, and has a good life. He is the apple of his parents eyes that adopted him. Most abortions are done when women feel they can do whatever they want and have no consequences because they can easily rid themselves of them. If someone commits a crime they serve the time, and 9 months is not very long. Put the baby up for adoption at birth if you don't want it. I know a girl (not my friend) who slept with everyone and had 9 abortions just because she didn't want a kid. F***ed up, huh?! Everytime a woman has sex she knows there is a possibility of becoming pregnant. After all, that is what that action leads to. There are way to many options to even need abortion. Get on birth control, don't have sex, use condoms, and if a woman is raped there is the morning after pill. It's not the same thing as an abortion. If abortion were illegal women would think before doing stupid stuff. If they were to get an illegal abortion and get hurt then it's their fault because it could have been prevented. I won't lose any sleep over it. Once a woman finds out she is pregnant the baby already has a heart beat and therefore is a living human being. It is not HER body anymore. it also belongs to her unborn child. I hate abortion and everything it stands for. I am a single parent of 2 and I seem to make it ok all by myself. My doctor told me i'd never get pregnant, and I did. Twice. At first I was scared about having a baby, but things changed. I am grateful to have my beautiful 5 year old son and 1 year old daughter. They are the joys of my life. What if I had aborted them? Unthinkable huh? And what about the fathers of these "unwanted" pregnancies? Maybe they want the baby, but have no say so since it's the woman's body and not theirs. I know a man in that situation, and he still can't get ovet the cold hearted selflessness of that woman. He offered to take his baby when it was born and raise it alone, and she'd never have to see it or worry about it ever. She told him no and had an abortion anyway. That is wrong.
