Yes its legal. You couldnt work for burgerking!!!

Is it legal to smoke inside McDonalds?

I was eating at McDonald's yesterday and this guy on the next table started smoking and the smoke was blowing on my table. I know that smoking inside restaurants is illegal in Texas, so I first told him to stop and he just ignored me. I then called a lady working there and she told me to shut up and mind my own business. When I told her that it is illegal, she called the manager who turned out to be this guy's friend. The manager said that if I didn't "mind my own business" and "stop making a scene", he would call the cops and have me arrested and ban me from ever entering a McDonald's again.

Did I do something wrong? What can I do now?

Is it legal for McDonald's to not pay me my final pay?

Okay, well I worked at McDonald's for 3 months, my final day was on Sept. 9th (I quit), and I was supposed to get my final pay with direct deposit yesterday. I didn't get anything. I checked today too. Nothing. Printed out a bank statement, and I didnt get paid from them at all since two weeks ago. I don't get it. I returned my uniform and everything that had to be returned, and these a$$holes don't want to pay me?? Is that even legal? I dont think it is. Should I call them, and demand my pay, or report them to the labour department?

I live in Canada, by the way.

Is re-selling McDonald's hamburgers legal?

Thank you all for the humorous answers.

To "Warren C": If I had $10,000 I would guess you will be working in a low-life, customer-service job for the next ten years you're out of college. In a million years you will never have the imagination or ability to do anything beyond a job that pays $10/hr. Don't criticize a person's idea without having some reasons to back it up! You're the butthead!

To the girl who told me to "get a job at McDonald's": Last time I checked, McDonald's pays it workers near minimum wage. Now let's do some simple math: I make nearly $1 per double cheeseburger I sell. If I sell 15 to 20 of them in an hour, which is not an unreasonable estimate on a wild, drunken Friday night, that's $15 to $20 I've made. That beats the hell out of sweating near the fry vat at McDonald's, plus I have the pride of running my own business. Get a brain you dumb ***.

Is it legal for Subway to use the McDonald’s logo in their new commercial?

The McDonald’s logo is protected by trade mark law as well as copyright, and in general any unauthorised use would infringe McDonald’s intellectual property rights. Exceptions are made, however, for the use of trade marks to identify companies, as long as there are no false implications. When commercials compare a rival product with the product being advertised, this is called ‘comparative advertising’, and a Google search on that term will get you legal posts on the relevant law, which varies to some extent between jurisdictions. Essentially, the use must be necessary (a logo alone is sufficient to identify a company, so it’s not acceptable to splash other elements of that company’s branding around, which could unfairly damage the rival brand; this was explored in O2 Holdings Limited v Hutchison 3G Limited) and the advertising must not be misleading. In the EU (including the UK), the use of rival trade marks in comparative advertising is specifically regulated by the Advertising Directive (Directive (EC) 2006/114). The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) offers general guidance.

Is it legal to sleep the night in the parking of a McDonald's in your car?

Today no.In the past yes. What has happened over the past few years is McDonalds and other fast food restaurants have decided to make their car parks time limited. There are 5 McDonalds near me (my girl liked their ice cream). The Bolton central one - It has no parking. The Astley Bridge one - It has a car park but it has an ANPR (auto number plate recognition) camera at the entrance and exit gates. When you drive in it flashes up your number plate on a large LED display. On the door it says you have 45 minutes to eat and get out. The staff also warn the patrons that you have 45 minutes to eat and get out.The Deane One - Identical to Astley Bridge camera scans your plate and tells you that you have 45 minutes to eat and get out.Salford the one just off the M602 - Again they have ANPR cameras. They give patrons 60 minutes instead. The Bury Tesco Retail park - Again they have ANPR cameras. They give patrons 40 minutes instead.

Is it legal for Mcdonalds to charge you 25 cents for Sweet n Sour Sauce if you don't order nuggets?

Is it legal to take rocks out of Lake McDonald in Montana?

It's legal, but it's actually very disrespectful. You'd be OK with taking one rock (a small one), but no more than that.

I know it sounds corny, but think of it. You're visiting that site to take in the natural beauty of the place, right? Now think of how it would look if everybody took only a few rocks out of the lake every time they visited. After a while, the natural beauty would get kind of barren and naked looking, wouldn't it. Law or no law, that's why you want to leave it alone. A picture of the rocks in their natural setting is just as good as a rock itself.

When visiting nature, especially away from home, always follow rule #1: Take only memories, leave only footprints. Then, years from now when you bring your kids to the exact same place, you can say it's just like you remembered it.
