Is It Normal To Feel Hopeless About Your Life Sometimes Would Love Some Opinions

Sometimes I feel, death is better than life. Why do I feel so?

Once you are dead it's the end of story…It’s perhaps a closure that you so desperately longed for…It wouldn't matter if your pancakes were half cooked or burnt for breakfast and if your coffee was cold. The grueling traveling routine would no longer be a botheration and nor would the difficult people at your workplace. It wouldn't matter if the people around you try to sideline you, because they think that you are better placed or more intelligent or talented.Peoples opinion would no longer matter and neither would you form any opinions. It wouldn't matter if someone you trusted and loved the most, back stabbed you and shattered you.It wouldn't matter if you made/broke resolutions you took up to make yourself a better person. You'd probably be free of all those filthy thoughts you created about someone which you knew were wrong and feel guilty about. No self loathing,No need to be clingy or bother about narcissists who play hard to get!Nothing! Just nothing!Yeah! Nothing would matter!Death will set you free! But what matters is that you live until then!

Do you believe successful people can feel empty inside...?

Of course successful people can feel empty inside. However, success isn't always measured by the position we hold, or the 'things' we've acquired.

To me, success is what a person is made of...not always what they have accomplished. The internal factor IS the most important.

Like myself. I'm a writer who has not really experienced any notable success and I'm currently employed part time, so my income is low. I've been divorced twice, so my marriages were not successful either. Feeling rather empty and unaccomplished is a 'norm' for me and when I do find my nitche and my success, I may not know 'what the heck to do with it.'

Material wealth is nothing to scoff at, however. There are many people who cannot make it that far. Acquiring material things are a 'filler' so to speak. They take up space in your home and you are able to at least look at these things and tell yourself that you've done a pretty good job of providing for yourself. But, I also think that it's very important to take a good look inside to find out 'what would make YOU' happy. What do you feel is missing from the inside? What, in your opinion, could give YOU a feeling of true happiness.

Love...companionship...a fulfilling passtime that creates happiness for others can also help us to equate the 'inner' factor of our lives.

To put it bluntly, I'm very empty...but, it's my own fault. Me and people like me created realities by thought, word and deed and if we are merely liked and not loved, then that leaves a huge, gapping hole on the inside. So, you see...it's not just the material things and the 'other success' that can leave us feeling cold and empty. It's how we 'create' our own little world in which we exist. Make sense?

I feel like i don't live a normal teenager life !?

You are perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to skip class. You're thinking about your future and the long term things in life. There are other ways to have fun that does not involve skipping class, getting drunk, and doing drugs. You can spend time with your friends on the weekend or after school. Try to get out more and have some clean fun. Nobody can definite what is "normal" teenage fun and what isnt. Everyone is different!

Good luck

Please do not get caught up in the media and social pressure. Trust me 5 years from now if you compare your life to those who are skipping school I can promise you that you will be in a better than they will be.

Why am I so hopeless with girls? Will they ever want a nice guy?

You will find someone.. Believe me.. You know why? Because you are smart, and a good person.. Just take it slow.. GIrls will come around.

In your opinion; Is Revenge Ever Justified?

Ok, I had this boss last year who was a complete power tripping c++ksucker and a compulsive liar!

His attitude towards people was so shocking most of the staff have since left, but he is still there. Working under him was a daily ordeal and I can honestly say that he is the only person I have ever really hated.

Many a day, when he was telling us to get on with our work, I thought of my revenge. In the end the only revenge I got was in leaving and seeing him demoted and still friendless and hopeless. I get some kind of pleasure out of this. What do you think?

Any similar experiences?
