Is It Normal To Go Visit A State Where My Someone Lived

What is the best way to surprise visit someone that lives far away from you?

I did this for my mother’s 80th birthday, many years ago.My parents lived in London and I was living in Houston, Texas at the time. I explained to my mother that I couldn’t come to London for her birthday celebration dinner as my schedule was absolutely chock a block and that it was just too long a journey (11 hour flight each way) for only one night.Secretly, I told my family to include me in the plans for that evening and I went ahead and booked my flight. I flew overnight on the Friday, arriving at Heathrow early on the Saturday morning. I stayed with my cousin during the day and then travelled to North London to my parents’ home aiming to arrive at about 7.00pm.I had told my mother that a special package would be arriving for her by 7.00pm and to make sure that she stayed in to receive it. Throughout the day, I rang a number of times to check if the package had arrived- of course, she said no- as I was the ‘package’! I was worried that she would be suspicious about me ringing so many times (especially with the time difference), but the excitement of the day seemed to save me from answering too many difficult questions from her.My father let me in to the house whilst my mother was upstairs finishing getting ready. Daddy called Mummy to come downstairs as I was on the ‘phone (again!). I was, indeed, on the ‘phone as I was calling from the sitting room.Mummy’s first words were “The package hasn’t arrived darling and we must go out now, as the car is here” I interrupted her by saying how lovely she looked - she immediately said thank you and after a moment said “How do you know what I look like?” I answered- “Because I’n standing right behind you!”My mother literally jumped (very high for an 80 year old!) for joy and there’s was much laughter, hugging, kissing and many tears! We had a wonderful evening with all of the family and whilst I had to get up ridiculously early to fly home the next day, it is a memory that I will cherish for ever.My mother died not long afterwards, and to know that I was with her for that very special celebration is priceless.

Would you marry someone in prison if you lived in the state that had conjugal visits?

Are you asking if I would ever marry someone in prison as long as I can have sexy with them? Well, personally I wouldn't. I am also a weirdo and my reasonings behind it are not probably the run of the mill “ I'd never marry someone in jail” reasons.Ok, so first of all being as though I am a sapiosexual, the conjugal visit although enjoyable whilst in the “visit”, would not be even remotely enough to match the importance of intelligent and personal growth stimulating conversation. You can have a quickie sexually perhaps, but there's no such thing as an intellectual quickie. Prison visits and one 15 minute phone call daily would not satisfy my desire in that regard. My next reason would be if I loved someone enough to marry them I wouldn't need the state to recognize my love on a piece of paper. If I loved someone that much sex would be a bonus although not necessary. Now if you're asking would I marry someone in prison just to get a conjugal visit it would depend on how good the sex was … KIDDING. No way. Don't get me wrong, sex is awesome especially if you love who you're sexing, but not enough for me to marry someone just to have sex with them.I also know the bullshit that comes for a regular visit as an inmate as well as a visitor and it's degrading, embarrassing, and intrusive to say the least. I wouldn't want to ever subject myself or anyone else to that just to get some tail. Now if I misunderstood your question leave me a comment and I'll try again

I want to visit Japan, I live in United States!?

I live in Kentucky in the United States, but I have been touched by the reservation yet genuine kindness of the Japanese people I've met.

I am willing to go not just as a typical American tourist, but as an eager, open-minded individual seeking to absorb thousands of years of history, heritage, and culture, as well as some of the world's most amazing natural beauty and cities.

I want to visit the primary islands of Honshu and Hokkaido. I want to visit cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, and Nagasaki. Yes, I want to ride a bullet train and see Mount Fuji. But I also want to visit some of Japan's smaller towns and cities, sample authentic Japanese cuisine, and participate in local customs. I'm willing to learn Japanese language and mannerisms in order to have an easier time in Japan.

What advice can you offer in terms of places to visit, things to know, how to dress, and more? I plan to stay for 1-2 months.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Why is Mississippi a bad state to live in?

I was talking to my mom about how I've thought about living in Mississippi when I get older. She said that it isn't a good place to live. Also, MS is on the bottom of the "best states to live in list". I grew up partially in MS and I visit my family there, and it doesn't seem as bad as people make it sound.
Is it though? Why?

How do I press assault charges on someone in another state?

I currently live in Pittsburgh, pa. My immediate family lives in South Carolina, and I visit them as often as possible. I recently went down to visit over the fourth of July weekend, and very unfortunately my sonce good friend had what she called a "mental breakdown" and assaulted me. My entire family was shocked that this would happen, nothing like this ever has before. I called the police, but the officer that showed up just yelled, put her in handcuffs, then said he wouldn't arrest her and left. I felt as if nothing was done. I left and returned to Pittsburgh, and I still feel as though I have grounds to press charges. My mother has told me she would witness for me (she saw it all) so it wouldn't be a he-said/she-said case, how should I pursue this? Criminal case? Family court? I dont know what to do and I know I have a limited amount of time to do it. I dont know what my first action would be or even how to go about it. Ive never had to deal with anything like this before and its unfortunate that I have to now but I want resolve to this, any help would be appreciated, thank you
