Is It Normal To Send A Letter Within The Us And Get It Back Weeks Later

How many days will it take Capgemini to send an offer letter after the HR discussion or clearing the first phase of the interview? Is there any premedical examination before the offer letter as well?

I recently took capgemini for Senior Consultant position feb2019. As usual like any other service oriented company they told us to share the documents after discussing the salary details. The surprise part is we dint fix the salary and they themselves fixed it and said we will send for approval to higher management. We waited for 1 week no response again made a followup again in the 2nd week no response.3rd week we called the director who took the interview and to my surprise he asked me to drop an email so that he can follow up.All of them are useless as they reside in same place and took to their advantage. If they want to reject a person they could have done at 1st hand instead of that alluring candidates into expectation and turned the table upside down.Even after all these dramas we made a followup on the 4th week and to our surprise the HR tagged me to someother job within capgemini which are irrelevant ot my role and had blocked the number. She himself called us for providing offer letter and now she himself blocked us in her contact list. Its not only me even another candidate from my current company dint get the offer even after submitting documents. Its evident they think they are smart and can play around just by wasting time of others.I request each and every one of you to think twice before joining and taking up interview with this company. This company also has a history of 0% hike for the FYI 2018.Listen,act and then proceed with your instincts.Let me provide you the HR contact details - Ashwini Andhale.Capgemini director - Manish Haria. Please be careful and be wise.

I mailed a letter about 3 weeks ago to Zacatecas, Mexico it hasn't arrived, how long does it take?

It usually takes a minimum of 3 weeks for a letter fom the U.S. to reach Mexico...often 5 weeks, and sometimes forever. If you ever have to send something really important, be sure to send it by Fed-Ex. Normal mail is slow and not reliable.

I sent a letter, and about a week later it was sent back to me. What's it mean?

It was sent back to me with a yellow sticker saying "return to sender attempted not known unable to forward". What does this mean? Is the address wrong? Because this wasn't a normal house address, this is a P.O Box address.

How much time does HCL normally take to give an offer letter after successfully clearing all the interviews (for experienced professional) ? Will they release the offer or won't they release at all?

Usually after you have cleared the interview rounds, the recruiter will call you for the salary and designation discussions. After you both agree on something, you will be required to submit a few documents, post which the offer letter is released. This was the process that was followed in my case and the whole process from the interview to the letter release took around 10 days. This may vary based on the urgency of the requirement but I would suggest not to wait more than a month for an offer letter ans start exploring other options.

How long does it take for HR to rollout the offer letter after sending the documents at Accenture?

I don't trust Accenture at all. They take interviews like they have many opening and. Select some of them, ask fir their documents and never release the offer letter.Accenture has a bad reputation, her in Mumbai because of such repeative and multiple instances. Many of them had faced such thing, including myself.Last year, during june 2015 I recieved a call from HR of Accenture asked me details and told interview would be scheduled soon. I got 4 calls after every 2-3 weeks asking for my details. Once my interview was scheduled but I didn't recieve interview call letter. And as you know they call from company’s landline , we cant reach them.So in last week of October I again recieved a ca from Accenture. I was not interested as I lost hope in them. They said interview would be schedule in 2 days And I recieved the interview details. I gave my interview on 2nd Nov 2015. In next few days I got call from HR that i got selected and asked me my expectation. Also told me yout offer would be release d soon send us the docs. So i sent them. I got a mail stating my status, it WS “offer Pending”.I again got a call from HR, she asked me my expectation and said it would be released soon. IT NEVER GOT RELEASED. In the mail, which i received for documents there were other candidate as well I mailed them all and none recieved offer. I followed up for 1 month, thetr was no response mail from there side.6months later, around may 2016, I recieved automated mail saying candidate profile had been Archived.Recently, Jan 17 I gave Accenture interview. Got selected. Submitted my docs. My status says offer pending. Waited for 1 week, no response. Mailed my query to candidate.response@Accenture. com , to my surprise I got response stating that they don't have any suitable openings right now. WTF. I have exact skills set that they asked for and also I'm an immediate joinee.I reverted back asking for clarification that why would the take interviews then and also stating my experience. They replied, concern team is looking into this. Its been 5 days now. No reply.Moral of story : most of the guys don't trust Accenture, including me.

How many stamps would it take to send a letter from Texas to Washington??? (:?

First class postage rate is the same no matter where you send you letter within the U.S. Here's the official price guide:

How long did it take letters to be sent during WW1?

Do you mean within the US? If so, they were pretty quick -- like a couple of days. And stamps cost three cents!
Or do you mean from overseas, like the Vmail the military would write home? In case you never heard of Vmail (V for victory, of course) for Vmail the military would write their letter, then turn it in to their officers, who would send it off to be photocopied and reduced in size. We on the "home front" received Vmail days or even weeks later, and now it is reduced to a very small size, like 3 x 5 inches. The idea was to save space on the ships crossing the ocean to carry the mail. They did not send it by air as far as I know, because there wasn't any overseas civilian flights because of the war. Most things went by ship, and even a fast ship would take a week to cross the ocean. So the Vmail wasn't very fast, but it was very welcome, however long it took to arrive.

Oh darn! I just realized you said WWI, and I am giving you the story of WWII.So sorry. Well, in WWI the domestic mail went normally. The overseas mail, as far as I know, was very much held up if it was to or from the war zones -- which for that war were mostly in western Europe.

Well, hope this helps somewhat.

When do colleges start sending admission letters?

As an article on Huffpost says, an email is generally sent by the colleges confirming that they have received your application. If you do not hear back, contact the admissions office to confirm that they have received your materials. Every university has their unique admission requirements. So, do check and make sure you have followed all directions. If your application is incomplete, this could delay their review and your decision. There are applications status links on most every college website. Use the same log in information you used for your application and you should be able to access the university websites. Receipts of transcripts, letters of recommendation, and test scores are sometimes on these status pages, so feel free to check back as often as you like.If you applied for early decision, you should be notified around December 15th. If you applied to colleges where there is rolling admission, it generally can take six to eight weeks to receive a decision. Regular admission deadlines are around the 1st of the year and those decisions are revealed in March and April. You can obtain more specific information by visiting the colleges’ websites.Don’t wait more than three weeks to contact colleges if you have not received a confirmation. If you haven’t received a response, call or email the admissions office to check your status. You can also check the application status link on their websites. Most colleges send decisions electronically through the application status link and follow up with a letter.

How long does it take for normal mail to reach another city in Washington from washington?

The mail between major places or places along major routes is remarkably quick and likely to be delivered in 1 or 2 days. Mail between small towns that are off the beaten path may be routed away and come back.I don’t know the details of how this item would travel, but let’s hypothesize two letters sent from Chelan. One goes to Spokane (150 miles) and the other to Stehekin (40 miles). I guarantee that there is faster service for the item to Spokane since that is a bigger city and maybe even a sorting center. Probably it’s delivered the next day. The letter to Stehekin at minimum goes to Wenatchee and comes back. It might even go to Spokane and then has to wind its way back to Chelan and eventually Stehekin. So “normal” mail from Bellingham to Pasco will rarely be more than a couple of days. What’s normal though? “Normal” mail from Endicott to Conconully could be most of a week even though the distance is far shorter.
