Is It Okay That I Taped My Nipples So Tight With Tape

Question about Nipple Piercing?

Hmm.. Well it sounds like you should wait a few months before you get them pierced.. All that extra sweat, movement, and friction will most likely irritate it.. Nipples tend to take a longer time to heal anyways.. So0o0o I would wait a little bit :)..

But if you do go ahead and do it:

1- Up your intake of vitamin C and Zinc up NOW.. It will help you heal faster..

2. While doing your summer stuff, put bandaids, or tape gauze over them to help keep most of the sweat out.. Also helps reduce friction on them!

3. Dont use a wet washcloth to clean them, itll have a bunch of nasty germs on it.. Get like, a little medicine cup and a can of H2Ocean to soak them in the bathroom on your breaks during your stuff.. Dont overdo it though, at the most soak them 5 times a day..

4. As for the bra situation, I always just wore my regular bras.. Id recommend doing the gauze taping either way..

After you get them pierced, theyll be sore for a while so youre going to have to baby them.. Be careful when doing things so you wont knock them around or anything.. Ive had mine done since last July and I still have to baby them a bit.. Well worth the effort though :)

How can I prevent my nipples from showing so much in a sports bra?

Is it bad to see nipples poke through bras, even shirts? Not in my opinion. If you ever watched the tv show Friends, it was pretty much guaranteed that one or more of the girls would have nipple bumps during the show. I hesitate to call it “fashion”, not like the “Rachel” hairstyle, but…By the way, no need to be anonymous, in my opinion, this is an issue many girls and women have to deal with. (Maybe some guys too but mostly we don’t care.)Your nipples randomly get erect and poke through. That is something guys certainly do understand: random erections (quite often at inopportune moments). It doesn’t mean you’re thinking dirty thoughts or anything else; maybe you got cold or you fabric rubbed a little and set one or both of them off. It happens, no need to be embarrassed about that. But clearly you are, so what do we do about it? A wide variety of nipple covers are available online or in certain stores; in an “emergency” you could also try some band-aids or even some tape. And yes, they even make them for guys:However, I still say, let it be. Don’t worry, we’ve all got nipples and sometimes they get active, it’s hardly a secret.

How can I stop my nipples from burning and bleeding after running?

I'm instinctively ashamed to admit that this has been an issue for me in the past, but it's nothing to be ashamed of (or so I'll keep telling myself), and to prove that point, I'll answer this question with my name attached. So now everyone knows I've had this quite embarrassing problem before.Your nipples chafe after an extended run because the nipples are abrasively rubbing against the fabric of your shirt. Your sweat is salty, which irritates even the smallest cuts/abrasions, and that just compounds things. It's not only embarrassing, but it's quite painful. And it only seems to get exponentially worse.Fortunately, there are a few good solutions that I know of:Taping your nipples (there's actually some product you can buy, although I've never explored this option)Wearing a clothing that won't brush/slide against your chest/nipplesRunning shirtlessChanging your running style to minimize bouncingThe last option seems a little bizarre, but it's actually the best solution in my humble opinion. Lots of runners tend to bounce with their stride. That stride not only expends energy uselessly, but the bouncing also causes that friction between the shirt and your chest. You can minimize your stride bounce and greatly mitigate nipple chafing right there. And you'll be running more efficiently. And it won't cost you a cent in nipple tape!

Is it dangerous to put a piece of electrical tape over the openings of an extension cord so that the plugs fit more securely and won't fall out?

Absolutely!  A loose plug means that the electrical contact is already poor and prone to arcing (you know, like a welding machine does to the electrode? Have you seen how fast an arc starts a fire?)So you might feel that the tape has given you a better grip - but in fact, where the connection is made, things are still bad. Re-tension the socket connections  - while the extension chord is disconnected obviously! Any extension socket can be opened for the contacts to be squeezed close together again. It just takes a little investigation and thinking. Forget about the tape idea.

How to get my boobs to look smaller?

I had the exact boob size at your age, and it gets awkward because hardly anybody in that age group has breasts that size. Very rarely is there another girl in your class that has the same issue. So when it's just you - you (or your girls - in this sense) stick out like a sore thumb.

What I used to do was to get bras that spread out the girls. The style that I used to see (and even now) is one that the cup of the bra comes up to the half of your chest. Like an inch above your nipples. Lane Bryant carries bras that completely cover the entire breast, from your arm pit fold, down under the breast, curving up your midline, and fully wrapping over the curvature of the inner jiggly part of your breast. This particular full cover makes the ladies spread out and use the entire bra to settle. (I don't mean spread apart, but it uses the full size coverage of the cup to mould the breast and not just let if hang "with support" like they do in other bra styles)

Whereas the other type of bras out there, they simply lift and make them protrude even out more - sometimes creating a muffin top and not a lot of support.

I suggest you go to Lane Bryant one of these days and ask about a full coverage bra. Don't buy your bras from Target/Walmart/Sears...or other department stores that really only carry the "trendy" styles of bras for the smaller cup sizes. Once you get to know your body and what you like, then you can start looking for a similar shape in other stores...but for now, you need to start right, feel right - and look right for yourself so you don't get caught up in your looks and can focus on your usual normal life and HAVE A LIFE and not allow your boobs to get in the way.

(EDIT)
Please don't tape your boobs down or make them do something they're not supposed to do naturally - your boobs are filled with fatty tissue that can move around if manipulated constantly. You don't want to end up with saggy issues or lumps in your breasts from taping them down and compressing them. Its not good for you, its uncomfortable and it can cause more worse issues with the look of your breasts.

Can I wear a strapless bra with my dance costume?

I'm performing a lyrical and jazz dance. The lyrical costume is like a purple, felt leotard with a flowy skirt. It has one 2 inch strap and a clear strap on the other side. It isn't low cut in the back or front. My bra doesn't show.

My jazz costume is red and silky. It has a clear strap on one side and a full length sleeve on the other side. It's not tight but not super baggy either. It's slightly baggy in the front but it's not low cut.

I'm not busty. I'm a 34A cup. I've danced in a strapless bra before. It didn't start moving out of place until I had to lay on my side on the floor at the very ending of the dance.

Should I wear a strapless bra? It has elastic on the inside so there's traction to keep it up

I have a completely see-through lace bodysuit. How do I wear it in public?

I don’t wear bodysuits because I can’t deal with anything between my thighs pushing against my labia. However, my husband bought me this totally see through lace top. He bought it on the understanding that I would wear a black lacy bra under it.I don’t usually wear a bra, so that was sort-of an olive branch to my worries of over exposing myself. But - when the see-through blouse arrived - although it was lovely, black and silky I couldn’t bear to wear it, even over a bra!Now I am a woman that doesn’t even own any knickers and only wears a bra to the office. The sight of me in a see-through blouse with a bra under it wouldn’t shock anyone - except I still can’t do it!
