Is It Okay To Put Light Make Up On Your Forehead/face

My forehead is always flaky?

You probably have combination skin, a lot of companies make moisturizers for combination or oily skin that are gel based and won't add to the oil problem, not moisturizing at all will actually making the oiliness worse. I suggest moisturizing your face (concentrating on your forehead) before putting on your foundation. Also, using a foundation primer before your foundation will help. Make sure to use a liquid foundation, stay away from powder foundation it will only cake up and make the flakes extra noticeable. To help with the oil you can LIGHTLY set the liquid makeup with a LIGHT translucent powder, and use a blot powder or sheets when you feel your skin becoming oily.

Is it okay to use concealer as foundation?

I'm not into all that heavy make-up stuff
I just want something light, but would it be okay to use concealer as foundation?
I dont really get a lot of pimples, but I have a few pimple scars on my forehead, nothing majorly visible though
So back to the question, is it okay to use concealer as a substitute for foundation? Or would I need foundation?

My nose and chin are fairer than my cheeks and forehead how can i get an eventone face & the right foundation?

I use this foundation, and i found this info on their website:

**Neutrogena Visibly Even™ liquid makeup is clinically proven to even out your skin tone over time for a smoother, more beautiful appearance.

This uniquely formulated makeup with Essential Soy™ works like skincare to reduce blotchy redness and improve uneven skin tone. Plus, SPF 20 helps guard against future UV damage to help prevent signs of premature aging. Lightweight and oil-free, its 10 natural-looking shades glide on to instantly minimize imperfections.**

I love it, and it does not feel like you have a plaster of make-up on your face!

Good luck!

How to fix my ugly face with makeup?

Now don't say I'm pretty. I'm ugly. I have hideous ginger-blonde hair that the barber put in the most uneven gross bob. It's greasy no matter what and so thin and curly and bleh. I have a GINORMOUS forehead the size of my FACE, so many fleckles it looks like a sprinkled chocolate powder on my face, which looks like a tomato field with ALL my zits, which never get healed no matter WHAT I use. I have squinty, puny, ugly monolids with the grossest, almost black eyes. You can't see my eyebrows or eyelashes since they're so light and straight, although I should be thankful since I have a unibrow that I can't remove since I have very sensitive skin there that gives instense pain if I even touch it. My nose is big and wide and fat and takes up half my face. My lips are thin and naturally an ugly brown color, and they're always chapped no matter what. To top it off, I have a butt chin and as pale as paper. I'm 16 (almost 17) and I'm so UGLY!!! help me?!?!?!? (Btw my mom JUST started letting me wear makeup since this year I'm going to a private school w/o being homeschooled?)

And before you say I'm beautiful no matter what shut up cause I'm not going to listen to your lies.

I don't want to post a pic of myself :(.

Greasy!!! HELP!?

Try the oil absorbent sheets they are like 1 pound (2 dollars) they are great and get rid of oil so easily and also carry around a compact make-up brush and lightly dust it then take it around with you all day and reapply when needed it saves carrying aroun a big massive brush and pot of powder.

Make sure you are washing your face properly and put on a light non creamy mostruiser and exfoliate twice a week for an evener skin tone always take off your make-up at night because if you leave it on its not very good for your skin. And this may be causing a clog up of pores thus making it greasy
Make sure your not eating to much junk and are drinking plenty of water.

Why does my face burn after applying primer and foundation?

And don't feel guilty☺️ Ok, you may have sensitive skin...OR you may have irritated your skin with a harsh cleanser. Skincare is INCREDIBLY important for your foundation to look it's best. If you have a subpar skincare regiment, your foundation will look no better than subpar. With oily skin, it's really important to not try and battle it with drying it out. If your skin feels tight and dry after you cleanse your face, toss it. It's not for you. Purity by philosophy is a really great cleanser for all skin types. Also find a light weight moisturizer. A good one is take a deep breath by philosophy or first aid beauty's ultimate repair lotion (not cream).Tarte is a really good line for sensitive skin, so if that is really the issue at hand, try cover fx mattifying primer or tarte's smoothing primer. Smoothing primers are good for oily skin because oily skin goes hand in hand with large pores--hence, the desire for smoother skin. All of these products should be available at all sephoras--free standing and inside jcpenny. Get samples of all these from Sephora. They are free. This way you can see what works for you without having to commit to something again and end up not liking it.

Is a foundation necessary when doing your makeup? Can I use a concealer instead?

A concealers main job is to hide all sorts of blemishes, redness, darkness, any sort of scars etc. It is supposed to be used on those designated spots that needs extra coverage or that needs to be concealed or hidden. If you feel like you have prominent dark circles under your eye you can conceal it using a good concealer. And apply tiny bit on all those areas you feel that needs extra coverage. It is also used to highlight the high point of your Face like your nose, forehead and chin and gives the illusion of having chiseled face when contoured and highlighted properly .Now keeping the above points in mind it’s totally up to you and depends on what your face/ skin really needs. You can totally skip the concealer in your makeup routine if you feel like the blemishes and under eye circles aren’t prominent and having a good skin day.Having said that, There is no hard and fast rule of whether or not you can use a concealer on a daily basis. Do what’s best for your skin.I, on a daily basis, personally use it only if I need extra coverage under my eyes if I’ve had a long night and no sleep. I don’t highlight or contour my face unless I need to glam up for an event or a party. Now there are several amazing concealer in the market.Drugstore concealer:Maybelline, hands down, makes one of the best concealers. You could try the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. Another brilliant one is the Age Rewind concealer .Another brand you could try is LA girl Pro ConcealHigh End:Mac, Estée Lauder and Sephora ones are raved about by most of the MUA and beauty youtubers.
