Is It Okay To Take Ibuprofen Ativan Claritin And Celexa At The Same Time

Is it safe to take Celexa and Ibuprofen?

A few days ago I started taking Celexa, so I'm very new to it, and I'm not sure if it's safe to take both. I currently have a bad migraine and menstrual cramps so I'm a little scared to take Ibuprofen. The last time I took my Celexa was last night, so it's been a while. Would it be safe if I took two Ibuprofen now?

Is it ok to take Ibuprofen and Claritin at the same time?

I have taken both but I do not take Ibuprofen now as I take a prescribed anti-inflammatory (Mobic). I do not see any problem but the Claratine can make you drowsy, so assess whether or not you should be taking them if driving. I believe you can purchase a non-drowsy alternative though so check with your pharmacist - Actually maybe give them a call as they are quite knowledgeable on medication. I take codeine (usually only a 10mg) daily but I usually defer these until late in the day when I am home and not driving. I know what it is like to have to put up with a number of health issues at the same time, so I hope you feel better soon.

Is it okay to take Ibuprofen, Ativan, Claritin, and Celexa at the same time?

I'm prescribed the Ativan & Celexa for anxiety and depression. I took a Claritin this morning along with 3 200mg Ibuprofen for a headache and cold symptoms I've had for about a week. Now I have this gut-wrenching pain in my stomach and it's not from anything I've eaten because I've only had a turkey sandwich with an apple and Gatorade today. I'm just trying to make sure it isn't from the meds.

What are the risks of mixing Claritin-D and Advil?

Fast answer: Okay to take togetherPharmacist concerns:There are no drug interactions if you take Claritin-D and Advil together. However, when taken together they do have an additive effect.Meaning when these two medications are taken together, they can both increase your blood pressure. When you take Advil (ibuprofen) it causes your body to retain both salt and water, which causes your blood pressure to increase.Pseudoephedrine is a stimulant and an active ingredient in Claritin-D. When you take Claritin-D this medication can increases your blood pressure by causing your blood vessels to constrict. This is why you should avoid taking the two together if you have a history of cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure, heart attack, etc).Clinical Pearls:Patients with cardiovascular disease should avoid both medications.Take Claritin-D in the morning as it is a stimulant. While you will be able to fall asleep on this medication you won't be able to achieve deep sleep. If you have acid reflux do not take Advil, ibuprofen, Naproxen, or Aleve. These medications can actually cause acid reflux.

Is it okay to take amoxil, ibuprofen, amd celexa together?

I was prescribed amoxil for a possible infection in my cheek due to novacaine injections. The ibuprofen was perscribed for the pain and swelling of my cheek. And lastly, the celexa was given for my anxiety. Is it okay to take all of these at once?

Is it ok to take magnesium supplements while taking Zoloft for anxiety?

I've not heard of a contraindication.Folks call me the "Mag Nag," becasue I'm always preaching about this vitally important mineral and how most Americans are deficient. So, you do need magnesium. And if you're deficient, you should address it.  Too much calcium without enough magnesium can cause a host of problems, including stiff muscles, poor sleep, and yes, probably even anxiety. In the sense that magnesium helps you to relax.Magnesium is also thought to be a norepinephrine precursor (building block). And norepinephrine is kissing cousins with serotoinin, the neurochemical we think of most when we think of anxiety (but of course it's more complicated).
