The vast majority of women prefer face-to-face sex for a variety of reasons - it's more intimate; it's more arousing both because of the physical contact and because you get to look at your hot guy; it's an equal act in that it's something you do together as opposed to something that's done to you; it's not degrading; it's more physically comfortable and so on. Is it porn we have to thank for this ultra sucky shift toward doggy style sex in the last decade or so?

Okay, I just had an interesting conversation with a friend. He listed some things women do that men do not to prove women are more prone to sin- like shaving their legs, wearing makeup, conspire against each other, they tend to look at what most women do and follow suit. I brought up how I thought these views -that women are somehow "worse" than men- caused women to feel bad about themselves. He said that the "feeling bad about themselves" was actually from their rejecting the way God made them and following other people's opinions rather than just being content with the way they were made. He continued by saying men are generally much more independent and therefore more free from other men's opinions, but men are in a way enslaved to the way women are, unlike women to men. So basically, he was saying that the proof women are more prone to sin is in their shaving their legs, wearing makeup, etc. That it's in their rejection of God's design. And that when women reject God's design for other people's opinions, it... well, messes everything up. For example, with the makeup- he asked why should women have to alter the way they look to be loved? In his eyes it's deceptive for any woman to alter the way she looks and for any reason, especially if it's to gain attention from men, and that this deception conditions men to prefer make-up over the natural look; it conditions men to be attracted to the objects women make themselves out to be. That it automatically makes women feel like they are not good enough unless they alter their looks, which goes back to my friend saying the "feeling bad about themselves" is due to a rejection of God's design. So. Your thoughts on this please? Does my friend have a valid argument at all?

Ugh, they give women a bad name.....sorry no self-respecting women does that to herself. So what if you make money get a REAL job like everyone else...It make me mad that a dumb broad without a high school or college can "make it clap" that easy and make $500 each night...I hate it. First, if a man is capable of objectifying any woman, he's not a very mature person. Sorry folks. You just have to be morally and mentally obtuse not to see human beings as human beings. This is often evident in people who use shaming sexual language for women who are sexually empowered and/or active. 3. Thinking that adult men have any right whatsoever to sexualize children under 18 simply because they develop secondary sex characteristics. 4. Thinking that women who are sexually attractive to them or whom they categorize into a preconceived stereotype must therefore conform to that stereotype, such as believing that women with large breasts are less intelligent or more sexually available than others. 5. Thinking that it is OK to do things to women that they would not want done to their wife, daughter, sister, or mother. That is only possible if a person mistakenly thinks that there are "two kinds of women" and it's OK to disrespect "this kind" of woman. Newsflash. Women are women and what a man does to any of us, he does to all of us. EDIT: TGB makes a good point that men are also objectified. However, objectification wasn't "made up" by women who want to "falsely" suggest that women are poorly treated. In many areas of the world, women ARE dehumanized. This question is about individual men, not society as a whole. And individual men DO sometimes objectify women, just as men can be objectified. Objectification is wrong regardless of who does it or who is the target. Yes, men should be respected and not objectified for their wallets, etc. Absolutely true.
