Why can I see shadow people and ghosts?
I never believed in any ghost or shadow people nonsense until I had my own experience. During the summer of 2013 I was routinely taking my daughter to a state park to swim. It's a deep gorge with excellent swimming holes. On a visit there I brought my cousin and her two kids with us. I realized I had left my keys down on a boulder. The kids didn't want to walk all the way back down to the swimming area so my cousin came with me to help me find them. It was dusk at the time. Still enough light to see but I brought a flashlight with me anyways. We found the keys and were heading up the long path to the parking area when I heard my cousin gasp. She stopped in front of me and said “Is that a bear?” I froze and looked ahead on the trail. About 20 feet in front of us stood a black form. As I stared at this thing my cousin ducked behind me. It stood about 7-8 feet tall. I shined a flashlight at it and the light shone on the tree behind it. As I looked closer, the darkness in this thing appeared to resemble smoke. It had a rolling,billowing appearance. When I turned the flashlight off it crouched in a squatting position. Then suddenly stood up and vanished. When I say vanished it wasn't suddenly gone. It was the freakiest thing I've ever seen. It looked as if it went down an unseen drain. Like a counterclockwise rotation in midair and then it was gone. Or so we thought. My cousin and I stood there for several seconds just looking at each other with wide eyes. My cousin asked “What in the f@ck was that?” I took a step forward and we heard the sound of something sprinting from that location but could see nothing! Leaves and sticks snapping under the weight of something we couldn't see. We double timed it back to the car and didn't tell our kids. To this day I have only told a few people with similar experiences and I still have no idea what it was. It really shook my beliefs and I've been looking for answers ever since. I'd like to add,it didn't make me feel threatened in any way. It seemed to feel just as surprised to see us,as we were to see it.
I have been seeing something strange these last couple nights. (Theres More)?
It has been several weeks now since I first saw this "thing". I live in the wilderness portionons of Virginia. It started once my freinds started not talking to me. I have a two story house, and a long front yard. One night, (and now the last couple nights) I have seen a bizzare thing treck across the lawn, and stop to look up at me. It returns to the woods, but every night it seems to get closer. My room gets cold, and I feel very "out of my head" so to speak. I dont know if I'm dreaming, or if thing is really trying to get to me. Its hard to describe how it looks. I;m very scared. Does anyone know how to explain this thing. Please do not reply if you are not not going to be serious.
How do I prevent geckos crawling around my house at night?
Firstly I would like to say that you and your mother are complete loons and it's nut bars like you that are slaughtering world's ecosystems one at a time with irrational irresponsible and excessive use of pesticides. Secondly to rid the house of insects and geckos you would have to either access every nook and cranny of your house' s framework or skeleton That is where the geckos and insects live and breed inside your walls and ceilings (sleep tight). That is where you would need to get poison to nearly impossible to get every area in a finished and occupied dwelling. Third option would be to saturate you and your family' s environment with toxic chemicals which might keep them from coming inside where you would be ever inhaling the fumes from your own poisons. They would still nest in the walls and just go outside to feed. Fourth option move. Practical option get over yourself, you know you can overcome phobias I myself have conquered a fear of heights and close spaces. Live and let Live. The world needs geckos more than one more deranged over medicated phobiated dumbass standing in line at the drug store trying to escape their own self inflicted neurosis.
What should you do if a stranger knocks on your front door at 2AM?
A stranger once pounded on my door late at night. I looked through the window and it was a woman who was so upset she was almost incoherent. She told me she had just escaped from two abductors. There was a car with a door open and the motor running across the street. I wasn't going to open the door, but she pleaded and said she had almost no clothes on. I changed my mind and let her in. I had her sit down, gave her a blanket, and called the police. It turned out that she had been abducted that morning in a store parking lot and driven around in her own car until the rapists abandoned her and the car in front of my house. She managed to get herself untied and out of the car and to my door. The police came, and eventually an ambulance. The woman was traumatized and terrified so I rode with her to the emergency room. Two detectives gave me a ride back. The two detectives told me that it was a mistake to open my door. She could have had accomplices waiting hidden. But what would it be like to be in this woman's situation and to be left shivering on someone's doorstep waiting for the police to arrive? Many strangers have helped me in my life. I would never tell you to open your door to a stranger in any situation. There are people who perpetrate scams by pretending to be in distress. You have to keep safe. But I am glad that I was there when this woman needed help.
I use to hear weird noises at night downstairs in my house, was it a ghost?
Do you have a dog or cat who wanders around during the night? You may just think a noise you hear is a chair moving or the sound of a drawer opening. I keep dreaming about someone trying to break into my house. What does that mean?

1) Lock all the doors and windows to prevent any strangers from coming into your house. 2) Watch happy movies or read happy books. Stay away from ghost stories or horror books late at night. 3) If you need to, put on some soft music. Nothing too loud or too hard, the best is classical if you want. 4) Keep a nightlight on when you sleep. However, if you're only staying home alone temporary like for one night then you can keep your room light on or your lamplight on the whole night. 5) Lastly, STAY POSITIVE. If you're scared of ghosts then STOP thinking about them. Think about happier memories instead. Good luck.
Why do I keep seeing dark shadows at night?
I have two answers. First, if the shadows vanish when you look at them, or if they move too quickly to be natural, it is a spirit, especially if you feel good or bad about them. If you are lucky or unlucky, you may see a ghost! But not everyone can see them, as some are more sensitive in terms of the paranormal than others. It is possible to do particular exercises to see spirits. Second answer, if it stays in view when you look at it, and if it doesn’t move, turn on the lights. Then you will see that it is an outline of an object or furniture that is in your room. Or it is the shadow cast by an object due to the moonlight. Hope this answers your question.
Whats wrong with my house phone?
see last night i tried calling people theres was no ring nothing but silence i hang up.my phones ringing and my friend called back when i pick up and said "hello" theres another silence i told my mom the phone's acting strange. This morning i called my friend back it finally rings and my friend answers we talked about 2 minutes then hangs up i was thinking since its working i could call my gf to see whats up but when i called her another silence..i called my other friend he answers he wonder why i called him and didnt respond i told him i did no one said anything i think my phone is acting retarded....do you know whats wrong with my phone?
