Why do girls wear shorts under their skirts and dresses?
When I was in highschool, I wore a uniform. I'll attach a picture of myself below from a few years ago:(shameless self promotion: follow me if you'd like, I couldn't crop the username out so go ahead)(Also this picture was taken after I got my drivers license)As you can see, the skirt is quite short, now my skirt was abnormally short compared to the other classmates and I couldn't change it… the school changed the uniform and stopped making the skirts in that pattern in my last year of school and they allowed the seniors to keep their old uniform so we didn't need to pay money for a skirt we’d wear for less than a year. So they stopped selling my skirts, and obviously being a teenager, my legs grew longer and the skirt got shorter… I don't particularly want to have to sit with my legs closed for the whole day in fear of showing my underwear, so I wore some lululemon short spandex shorts under it… now I could sit however I wanted, didn't have to be worried about bending over and showing my ass to my classmates and teachers (some of which were male) so it wasn't really an option to not wear those shorts.Hope this helps xK

First of all, people that makes fun of your condition, you don't want them for friends. Their opinion should not mean one thing in this world to you, you don't owe them nothing. The worst thing you can do is to give in to them and let them keep you from doing the things you enjoy doing. While you worry about what people like that thinks, life will pass you by. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN. You need to do everything you can to enjoy life starting right now. Don't let nobody in this world keep you from doing that. You get you some shorts and mini skirts and wear them everywhere you go. Don't even think about wearing long pants in the summer. If anybody don't like it they don't have to look. If anybody laughs at you or makes an ugly comment, you ignore them and walk away. Just always remember that if anybody makes fun of you it is not a decent person doing it. Don't let anything like that ruin your day. Always remember that you have got the best friend a person can have, God is your friend. When you and your friend goes to Tenerife be ready to go shopping for shorts and mini skirts and enjoy it. You will look nice wearing them. Good luck to you.
Which side should the slit be on a long skirt?
My left leg is paralyzed but fully formed and always shoeless.and I use crutches. I am thinking about a long slitted skirt. If I have a choice, would you recommend the slit on the left side to show my paralyzed leg in hose, or the right side to show my good leg in hose and an open sandal.

Why was it true that back in the 1950s girls HAD to wear skirts to school? Wearing pants or even “pant-a-loons was not an option.
Because in those day’s you could still divine what was a Female and what was a Male, it was normal for girls to wear skirts up to there ankles of course, then gradually they became shorter until we hit the 60s (1968) when the mini skirt made it’s appearance, and that was the best time for us boys. Now these day’s they wear what they want, jeans, skorts (which are an insult to the mini skirt) and shorts down to there ankles as well which makes it sooo sexy, (not) As far clothing is concerned, please put the 60s back in place, I love the mini skirt. On a different note, I must admit that those G string bathing suits look pretty good to me as well.
