Is It True That Showing Your Thighs Turns Men On In Papua New Guinea

Is stretching my penis to enlarge it dangerous?

NOPE! That's exactly what my boyfriend did, he grew too! ^_^ It's not dangerous.

However, like the person before me, you should wait to stretch until you are 18... If you aren't, then you aren't finished growing, it may effect your natural growth somehow.

What are the differences between rugby League and Union?

Number of players - There are 13 players in League and 15 in Union (on each team).

Play - In League, the attacking team can only carry the ball for 6 tackles and then the ball is given over to the other team, whereas in Union, play is not stopped if there is a tackle - both teams can try to gain posession of the ball. In Union, a player can kick the ball out of play on the full from inside their 22 yard zone, but in League the ball must always go out on the bounce.

Scoring - In League, a try is worth 4 points and both conversions and penalty goals are worth 2. A field goal is worth only one point. In Union, a try is worth 5 points, a conversion is worth two points, a penalty is worth 3 points and a field goal is also worth three points.

Other rule differences - In League, a player who commits a bad foul can be sent off for the whole game, or for only 5 or 10 minutes. In Union, a player can only be sent off for the whole game. Union has 'line outs', League does not.

Jehovah’s Witnesses: How does the Governing Body assist special pioneers?

You have to be invited to be a "special pioneer," I don't believe you apply for it. The only special pioneers I knew were an older married couple where the husband had been a CO and stepped down. So, if they already were on welfare, I doubt the WTS would extend the invitation, although I could be wrong.

The WTS does give COs, and I would assume special pioneers, an "allowance." It's not a lot, but JWs in those "ranks" don't use much. Usually, they will make sure all their funds are in order before devoting so much time to the ministry work. Plus, whenever they visit other KHs, the congregation will usually donate small amount of money for gas and food and such.

EDIT:

I just read your edit to Pedro.. Ok, your question makes more sense now. But the same goes for regular pioneers, in that they would have their finances in order before the JW applies for the "position." Ideally, they would have another source of income while they pioneer (eg a wife pioneers and her husband work). When I reg. pioneered, I was still living with my parents and was able to quit my job while they payed for my bills, so I could "focus on the ministry."

Also, the person /does/ have to get approved by the KH's body of elders, so if they knew a person had already been struggling financially they would probably be reluctant to "okay" them, so to speak.

The WTS does stress that everyone should pioneer, but they don't do it in a way that would excuse a JW to quit his job and go on welfare just to get in more hours. But, every few months or so, they will send a "schedule" in the Kingdom Ministry that shows individual JWs how to make in more hours monthly. (5 on every Sat. and 3 on maybe Mon or Wed)

What is the most unique spiritual experience you have ever heard of or encountered directly?

Hi Riki,I have had many, so commenting on ‘The Most’unique is difficult!I have had a face to face with a being ‘Not of the World’. No words as such were spoken but I was left feeling completely at peace, and a little puzzled. What followed was an epiphany after epiphany! EXTREMELY spiritual in nature. Then there was an experience while in Papua New Guinea. In short, a word spoken to Christain men and ministers on one side of the island that I was on, had its effects INSTANTLY on the village on the other side of the island. There’s two for starters and they are both quite different but the same as they both involve a spiritual element.

What would happen if humans ate themselves?

We would see outbreaks of Kuru, a disease similar to mad cow disease caused by eating human nervous tissue that contains an infectious prion. The symptoms include constant shaking and unsteady gait. Within months (or years or decades for some resistant people) patients lose all muscle control and can no longer sit up, swallow, speak, or control their bowels. Death from infected bedsores or pneumonia or starvation will follow. There is no cure. The disease was described in a Papua New Guinea tribe where the dead were eaten by their families as a funeral practice to restore their "life force" to the tribe. Women were more likely to eat the brain, while men ate muscles, so women developed kuru most frequently. So… what if we just ate human muscle and avoided the dangerous nervous tissue? We may see a market for human muscle, mostly from recently deceased, and certainly more cases of soldiers or warriors eating their enemies. What we won't see are human farms: the food you would have to feed your "livestock" is the same food you could eat yourself. Farming people for meat makes no economic sense. Hunting them, on the other hand…Thanks for the a2a!

Is human a 'red' or 'white' meat?

Both. The colloquial expression “red meat” refers to a type of muscle fibers called red, slow-twitch, slow oxidative (SO), or type I fibers. These are adapted for fatigue-resistance and endurance, so they are important in such places as the postural muscles of the back. Duck breast is red meat because ducks are migratory birds and thus need fatigue-resistant flight muscles, unlike chickens or quail, with white meat breasts suitable only for a short burst of flight but no endurance. The expression “white meat” refers to so-called white, fast-twitch, fast glycolytic (FG), or type II fibers. These are adapted for quick responses such as jumping and elbow flexion (as in weight lifting), but they fatigue faster than red fibers. These are abundant in such muscles as the biceps of the arm, gastrocnemius muscle of the calf, and the muscles that control eye movements and the protective reflexes of the middle ear.Nearly all human muscles, however, are a mixture of these two fiber types. The relative proportion of one type to the other varies according to the function of the muscle (e.g., jumping versus maintaining posture). Muscles consisting mainly of SO fibers are called red muscles and those consisting mainly of FG fibers are called white muscles, as in the examples I gave above. The quadriceps muscle on the front of the thigh is particularly interesting. A study of muscle biopsies on volunteer athletes participating in varied sports showed the quadriceps to consist of 82% SO fibers in marathon runners, 74% in swimmers, but only 37% in sprinters and jumpers. The fiber proportion seems to be genetically determined. You can’t change red fibers to white ones, or vice versa, by training. (There’s a little bit of debate about this, but such change if it occurs is still very minor.) It seems that those who wish to go into sports try various things and gravitate toward those in which they perform best—the sports for which heredity and FG:SO ratio have best equipped them. One athlete might be a “born runner” or good at cross-country skiing, but poor (at least far from scholarship or pro level) at basketball or shot put, while another athlete may be just the opposite.

Is cannibalism still present in human beings?

This video contains cultural nudity. (nonsexual) These pictures are graphic.Yes cannibalism is still practiced many places. Motivations include starvation, superstition, religious tensions, traditions and honestly seeing people as a viable food crop. Canabolism is still common in isolated regions of the South Pacific. The link below is a video about cannibalism in Papua New Guinea. Generally eating people is ritualistic or religious rather than a regular food source.Cannibalism in Ecuador, the Aucas tribe. I'm not certain if they are still practicing cannibalism. The most famous incident with this tribe was in the 5os. I have heard that they are but I could not find confirmation. It seems that people consumed in this tribe were seen as a food source.I taught a group of sisters from this tribe. They liked to joke about their ancestors eating people.
