Is It True That When Your Hair Takes Long To Blow Dry It

How come my hair takes so long to blow dry!

everyone has the right answer you need to let most of the water dry out of your hair before you start styling because i know it takes forever if you don't with or without any products. But using products on your hair alot of time will help it to dry faster. And since you wear it long what kind of styling are you wanting anyway? And I would suggest not washing it everyday.
Ok I guess with the layering u will need some styling but you still need to let it dry naturally and then it won't take long to style it

How long does it take for you to blow-dry your hair?

It takes me 1 hour when I blow dry my hair right after I get out of the shower and do a really good job. It takes less time if I wait for my hair to air dry a bit and do a mediocre job. I like doing a good job though. But is blow-drying my hair for 1 hour bad?

How long does a blow dry take on long hair?

Depends on the Hairdresser and how thick and long your hair is. Like for me with the length of hair at about my rip cages and the thickness of a horses hair then normally an hour to be completely dry. If you have thin long hair maybe 5-10 mins and short hair 5 maybe. Hope this helped! :)

Blow drying my hair takes forever! Is there any way to do it faster?

Towel dry your hair when you get out of the shower, and use a PAPER TOWEL to soak out more moisture.

Let your hair air dry for a while before trying to blow-dry it. I have thin hair and I usually wait about 30 minutes before blow-drying it; and then it takes me about 10 minutes on a high heat setting. Just get out of the shower, towel-dry (with paper towels) and do the rest of your routine.

Use a high heat setting. If it's too hot for you then you should switch to a different blow dryer that is more comfortable.

Make sure you separate it into different sections with hair clips. Maybe do the bottom half first and then the top half. Use a round brush to concentrate the hot air.

It should not take two hours. After you think it's almost dry, try setting it with the "cool" setting and see if it feels any different.

Does it take your stylist 2 hours to blow-dry it at a salon? I doubt it. Ask your stylist for tips or go to a beauty store and ask a specialist about fast-drying hair dryers for thick hair.

You should be using at least 1875 watts, preferably 2000, and ceramic and/or ionic.

How long does it take for a female to blow dry her wet hair?

Great question!Ok, let’s break it down:Time - the time is totally up to the individual. It depends on how much time they have to do a good job or a so-so job and where they plan to go after they have finished.Hair Length - if your hair is short, chances are, it will take anywhere from 10–15 minutes to get the job done. Longer hair means more commitment of time.Hair State - ideally, you should blow-dry damp hair and not wet hair. It will also depend on your hair texture[1] and its porosity [2]as well as elasticity[3] factor. This will also determine the time needed.Gender - well, your question asks about females, however, it really should not matter about the gender - hair is hair is hair - on any sex! Men grow long hair too as well as more common shorter hair.Experience - yes, if you are a hair stylist, chances are, you are an expert at what you do and this might be a ‘breeze’. If you are an amateur, it might take longer. Here is an article about making your hair straight without heat[4] which might prove to be interesting reading for you. Why does my wet hair take so long to air dry?

Not necessarily..Hair that dries fast (when being air dried) is usually has a tendency to be on the porous side(which means that porous hair tends to take color faster & absorbs conditioner almost completely), but in your case, long air drying time for your hair could be due to one or more of the following: The type of shampoo/conditioner that you’ve used-ex: Your conditioner is infused w/Oil such as Argan, grapeseed or etc, the styling product that you’ve applied to your hair after towel drying your hair-ex: Mouse that infuses moisture in your hair..or it could be that it’s just the way your hair is, lol.
