Is It Weird For Guys To Wear Leggings Snowboarding

Can guys wear leggings like girls?

There used to be a term used quite frequently with regard to men’s and women’s clothing …actaully it was applied to a lot of things from hair styles to bathrooms …called “unisex”.These days with guys wearing gals jeans and vice versa, the unisex theme has returned …although it hasn’t become a mainstream term with respect to anything.Just like the jeans thing, I see no reason why a guy …with the particular build better suited for a women’s cut of tights …could not wear them. How you present yourself in public wearing any kind of form-fitting leggings or tights is another matter …if you plan on wearing them outside your abode. A lot will depend on how “hungry” the exhibitionist child inside you is …because make no mistake, you will be on “exhibit” …if you catch my drift. Which may be right up your alley. Or not. Either way I’m sure you can figure out the best tack to take when going out in public wearing tights or leggings of any gender.

What do you wear under snowboarding pants?

I always wear thermals but i always seem to get too hot. What do you wear underneath your snowboarding pants that keeps you comfortable and not too hot or too cold?

LuLaroe leggings for guys is it weird?

I am a guy, and I wear sometimes my girlfriend leggings. It started one day with me feeling them and told her that they wear super soft. Then she was like yes and inside they are and comfort. She ask if I wanted to try a pair, I was like what the hell. So I try a pair on and they were super soft and nice on my skin. Now we share legging and I wear them around the house. Just seeing if anyone else has there man doing that or just weird

Why can't guys wear leggings?

It’s not that they can’t- it’s just that society hasn’t really deemed it acceptable yet.But I’m sure you already knew that.So let’s get into that.As a guy who does wear leggings- usually in the winter, which makes my method easier- I’ve found that it’s other men that tend to give you looks and not accept it, not girls. probably because the girls know how comfortable they are and don’t blame ya. But anyways, especially in North American culture, men are always battling to show their masculinity (obviously not all men, but I’m being general here to answer a general question) and will go to extreme extents to make sure things are “no homo.”I think that’s ridiculous, and people should be less concerned about how they look and what people think of them.Women wear men’s clothing all the time, and have for centuries. Jeans were originally exclusive to men, and invented as a tough fabric to endure harsh working conditions, but now they’re unisex. All clothing should be the same, leggings included. If you’re worried about what girls think, or if it’ll look too feminine, put that behind you. The number one thing girls usually find attractive in men is confidence, so if you’re out wearing something, confidently pushing cultural norms, I don’t think you have to worry about that.Companies like UnderArmor and Nike make leggings designed specially for men, that are deigned to leave room for the valuable merchandise, but even most womens leggins are wearable and have room as well due to the stretchable material. If you, or anyone is looking to buy some, I’d recommend the athletic ones over the cotton ones as I find they’re more comfortable. If you’re wearing them out and you’re uncomfortable about how revealing they are- I am- just wear a long shirt or a long hoodie or something like that that covers you. This is what I do, and I’ve never had any issues, more than the occasional strange look from some guys, or approving smiles from girls I’ve passed.I’m not really the mirror selfie type, but I made an exception for you Quora. This is me, in the women’s Nike Legendary leggings and how I usually wear them:

Can a boy wear leggings?

Absolutely ok for men to wear leggings but only if they are worn with a level of decency and decorum. A long shirt to cover the front and rear is a minimum.Where you wear them is usually the catch. Some guys prefer to wear them for sports activities with the occasional errand on the way home thrown in. More than ok to do this. Where other guys like to wear them in all facets of life. Socially, at work, outings etc. I have no issue as long as it doesn't break work place criteria.Men need to be more cautious of HOW they wear leggings rather than WHY. A lot assume we will be all wear them like the girls do with short shirts and showing off our groins and butts and no one will say anything. Sadly this is not reality and men MUST always show a greater level of care to not cause issues in this regard.I understand that men should not be ashamed of being men, but there is zero dignity in drawing attention to those areas if men have the means to conceal themselves properly. Please don’t compare men’s groins and rears to women’s breasts either. Women’s breast are considered attractive by 90% of the public, men’s groins are not. The last thing I want to be accused of is being branded a pervert or exhibitionist. If you are doing these things already mentioned, then knock yourself out.

Is it okay for a guy to wear leggings and/or jeggings? I love them.

It is absolutely okay for a guy to wear leggings or jeggings in a sports context. Lots of cyclists and runners do, including me, an enthusiastic amateur cyclist. If you're going to wear them for casual wear, that's okay too, as long as your groin and rear are covered.A few weeks ago a friend of mine and I went hiking on some local trails. I was dressed like this:I got only positive reactions. One person said “Nice leggings!” to me. Notice that my shirt is long enough that my groin and rear are covered.I went shopping on the day after thanksgiving (US holiday) wearing a Grinch sweatshirt, red short shorts (guys wore those in the 1980s, and it was okay then!) as my shirt didn't cover my privates, and teal green leggings:Again, no negative reactions. The way i see it, I was dressed festively for the holiday season. Another time I went shopping wearing a sweatshirt and shorts over leggings, and was out for several hours. A couple people looked at me a little strangely, but that was it. I was dressed like this:In short, yes, men can wear leggings, or jeggings if they so choose. But please, when wearing leggings outside of a sports setting, make sure your groin and rear are covered. Nobody wants to see your moose knuckle.
