Is it weird for a 15 year-old to date a 12-year old?
I don't think it's weird... But I am in a relationship that wouldn't exactly be considered normal myself. I am two years older than my boyfriend. But, I wouldn't think of it being too odd... 5 years or more would probably be the worst. Though... Age is only a number.

Hi i'm Bella and yes i have permission from my mom to be on her yahoo account since i'm 12. I recently noticed how other girls in my seventh grade class are obsessing over ipods, laptops, boys, and make up. I feel like i am getting left behind in a way because i am their same age and i do like all those things but i still play with Littlest Pet Shops. I grew tired of Webkinz a while ago but for some reason i still like LPS toys. I know i need to grow up from toys made for 7 yr olds but i still enjoy and like them. My 13 birthday is coming p in March and I really want some littlest pet shops for part of my presents. My mom knows that i love reading, my ipod, drawing, and playing with my electronics. I have never really told her that i was still into LPS though. She bought me my first set years ago and the embarrasing part is that i still play with them! I don't know how to ask her for little baby toys again because she knows that am a mature person but there are little things like this i don't really feel ready to let go of yet. If you are a parent out there, do u have any daughters at home that still enjoy her childhood toys but too embarrased to talk about it at school? If u are a sibling please tell me too. I need to know if this is still average and how to approach my mom about this.

Well, everyone's already told you it's weird and creepy, so I won't bother saying the same thing. The eight year old boy might have precocious puberty.... it could cause him to look more mature (physically, as in he looks older) than he really is. I'm thinking this because you said he's "hot" and it's very odd to find an eight year old that's "hot". I really don't know exactly what you should do, I think it would be kind of awkward for you and the eight year old boy to "get together" and get into a relationship, he's only eight years old. The boy might just have a crush on you and, again, if he has precocious puberty, he is more than likely going to have a taste for older girls such as a twelve year old like you instead of another eight year old girl.

No its not bad at all. It is the same as if you were to like a 12 year old boy.Having feelings for other people your age is totally normal. Having feelings for people that are the same gender as yourself is totally normal too. It is just like having feelings for people of the opposite gender. Both totally normal.That being said, I would be careful about letting other people know about this, as we live on a planet of morons, and some people do not think this is ok or normal at all.It is those people who will cause problems for you. Not you, and not the other girl (well she might cause other problems for you like any other person you like might cause you problems/like relationship spats or breakups or borrowing your clothing and not returning it)So until you know how others will react, do not let them know, for your own safety and well being.And, in this light, make sure to get a good education, so you can get a good well paying job and be able to move to and live in a town that is friendly to gay people, (like SF or LA or NYC or Miami) where gay people can go about their normal and boring everyday lives just like anyone else with no one bothering them or even noticing them.Making good money will help to give you that freedom. I'm 14 (Freshman in HS), and I recently met this girl... She is 12 and in 7th grade. I really like her, and I think she likes me, but before I ask her anything, I just wanted to know some things... So this really cute 12 year old boy likes me, i mean hes a perfect kid. Dark skin, dark hair and the bluest eyes you've ever seen. He swims on my swim team. And he tells his sister he likes me. It is not wrong. Like I always say age doesn't really matter after high school anymore but you two are still very young. I would recommend for you two just to stay friends unless you know someone else also wants to date her. Why would I say to just be friends is because when you date a person there are things you both will won't to do. Starting with a kiss and each time things will get to the point you both won't control yourself. It's nice to see young kids having crushes but dating should be for older people. I doubt you will want to become a dad before you even get a normal job. Even if you protect yourself there are always risks. I don't want to sound like a mom or anything but you two should not try to grow up too fast. You'll miss being so young one day. Enjoy your life and earn from it. I wouldn't want you both to make a mistake and ruin the freedom you have at this age with out any responsibilities. Adults have to take so much responsibilities that they wish they were as young as you guys. But, i am not saying falling in love or havimg a crush is bad. Its not. They do say that good friends a lot of time end up dating each other because they know each other so much they feel a strong connection and fall in love eventually.
