Is Jelly Ben 4.3 Released

Jelly bean for HTC Desire X?

HTC is planning to rollout the update next month

How do I update my ASUS ZenFone 5 Jelly Bean 4.3 to KitKat?

I do not know as I no longer use any android devices.

When will Sprint release Jelly Bean 4.1 on the Galaxy Nexus?

Because CDMA variants of Nexus phone need carrier specific APK's and radio's coded they usually don't get the update for 2-3 weeks after the GSM versions.  The mentioned during the Keynote speech it would be OTA's around the middle of June so I wouldn't expect it until August.

I have the Zenfone 5 with 4.3 Jelly Bean. Now Asus has released Lollipop. Can I update directly? If so, how?

If Asus has Realeased the update for Your Zenafone 5 than you can update it through OTA.Go to setting> About Phone > UpdateAs I Know I think there is no update of Android L for Your Asus Zenafone 5.

What is the difference between Android Jelly Bean and KitKat?

Because it took so long for my phone to finally receive the upgrade from Jelly Bean (4.3) to KitKat (4.4), I ended up reading a lot about this. Let me summarize it for you.Image source: Pocket NowVisual ChangesWhen you update from Jelly Bean to KitKat, the first things you'll likely* notice are:Update to the interface with more white elements, instead of blueThin font for all clock numbersApps can now be fully 'full screen'Generally, the design feels much lighter* The difference in appearance will depend heavily on the phone and carrier you're using. For example, if you are using an HTC device, HTC will have added their own layer of visual eye candy on top of the native Android OS. If you happen to have Verizon as a carrier in the US, you'll notice that they too have added a bunch of different apps and visual aspect on top of HTC's version of Android as well. As a result, what you see might deviate greatly from what I described here.Image source: Ars TechnicaAdditionally, apps are now given the room to use the whole screen.Image source: Ars Technica - left Jelly Bean, right KitKatPerfomance ImprovementsPerformance improvements are not the most sexy things about the upgrade of Jelly Bean to KitKat, but they can make your phone feel like a much newer phone again. From all the changes under the hood, the following changes will be most noticeable:Support for lower RAM phones (512 MB and up)In the past, Android was built for phones with at least 1 GB of RAM, but with the improvements made in KitKat, phones with 512 MB of RAM will work well now. The changes have also led to Android being able to run to some extend on phones with memories down to 340 MB [1]Core Applications SpeedupYou'll notice that the core apps will startup faster, as in 20% faster [2]. A lot of work has gone into the core app performance, making your phone feel quite a bit faster than it used to.[1] Android version history[2] Android KitKat: A Noticeable Bump In PerformanceOverall, KitKat is a major improvement over Jelly Bean, and if you get the chance to upgrade your phone, especially if Jelly Bean feels slowish to you, I'd recommend you do.

Is it possible to update from Jelly Bean 4.1.2 to Lollipop?

Anything is possible.  However there are things to consider with this undertaking:1. LG has demonstrated a serious lack in support for their devices.  As a Former LG user, I'm speaking from experience on this regard.1a. Since this device was released in 2012-13, hardware wise it probably could run the OS, but doing so could seriously alter the user experience and not always in a positive way.  But this assumes that when Google released the OS version to LG, they actually took the time to review, modify and release a version for your device.1b.  Then the carrier gets involved.  If the update doesn't play nice on their network that is also an issue that could hinder the process.2.  If you're looking to go outside of official release channels from the manufacturer, there is the possibility that your device is supported by a ROM that will bring added features and functionality to your device.Cyanogen and the XDA developer forums are a great place to start researching this.  Keep in mind that this route if viable will require you to root the device and install any ROM package yourself.  Some are not comfortable doing so and you run the risk of bricking (making it lock up and unusable) your device if you try.3.  Your carrier may offer you incentives to trade in an older device for something running a more current version of Android.  However the downside to this is of course the cost.  But a newer device may have hardware and software features that you are currently lacking and may find appealing.4. Even if you were able to update officially, depending on any limitations from your current hardware, some features baked into the software may function in a limited way or not at all. This is a serious case of consider the options.  I wish you luck in whatever choice you decide.

How can I upgrade my Nexus 4 to Jellybean 4.3 when it comes out?

I just ordered a Nexus 4 and now there are reports of a new Nexus 4 being spotted with the, as yet unannounced, Jellybean 4.3. I was wondering if anyone knew if and how I would be able to upgrade my OS to this new version when it does finally come out.

Thanks in advance.

When will Galaxy Nexus get the Jelly Bean update, in Chennai?

Galaxy nexus never was released in India. So you must be having a country specific version of galaxy nexus. I am from Chennai too. And my nexus was from UAE but. I switched to the international version (non UAE version) of Android. And I got the jellybean update months back. 2 weeks after jellybean was released I think.

How can I update my Android version of Jelly Bean 4.3 to KitKat 4.4 in my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone?

Samsung is very slow in providing updates so if you are very keen for update root your smartphone. After rooting you can also use net-cut for android for increasing your WiFi speed and there are tons of other customization’s available after rooting. But rooting will render the warranty of your phone null and void so read properly all the instructions before rooting your phone.
