Is Jolteon Any Good In Pokemon Crystal

Eevee Evolution (Pokemon Crystal)?

it is better you evolve your eevee into an umbreon. it will come in handy to nail psychic and ghost pkmn. remember to evolve it during the night. if it is daytime, it iwll evolve into an espeon.

a tip: give the eevee along with a captured ditto at a breeding center located south of goldenrod city, and you will get eevee eggs! you have to be patient, but it counts!
each one will hatch into a young eevee. evolve the strongest eevee into umbreon.

when quilava evolves into typhlosion, it CAN learn thunderpunch. so you can beat the water and bird pkmn easily.

Is this a good, balanced team for Pokemon Crystal?

Hi,

You have a relatively allround team, but sudowoodo, seriosly, you already have tyranitar, a rock type why do you need 2 rock pokemon. Arcanine is the best fire around. with great speed and attack it can wipe out 3/4 pokemon before finally falling to the ground. gyarados is a good pokemon, dont get me wrong, but lanturn is the only electric/water pokemon, giving it minimal weaknesses to anything that crosses your path

togetic is fine, i like it

and surprisingly Aipom is a good addition, it can deal great damahe with TM shaddow ball and TM thunder, if not headbutt a tree and find yourself a poweful bug...HERACROSS, its megahorn can wipe out even the toughest things and it is really a good addition to any team

Hope i helped

Is This a good in-game team for Pokemon Crystal?

I wanted to use some pokes who i dont use very often.
Chikorita-Bayleef-Meganium
Growlithe-Arcanine
Sandshrew-Sandslash
Slowpoke-Slowbro
Eevee-Jolteon
Natu-Xatu
Is that a very versatile team?
BQ: a good moveset for each of these? optional. Thanks

In Pokemon Crystal, if you breed a Jolteon with a Ditto, will the egg hatch a jolteon, or an eevee?

Eevee. The hatched pokemon will always be the most basic form.

Attacks for my eevee team in pokemon crystal?

Umbreon: Toxic instead of Swift
Jolteon: Thundershock instead of Double Kick
Vaporeon: Ice Beam instead of Aurora Beam
Flareon: Flamethrower instead of Ember
Flareon: Earthquake instead of Quick Attack

What is a good alternative to Blastoise since I can't trade pokemon to Crystal from other versions.

I have pokemon crystal, and am going to use this set up.
Typhlosion (level 60) with Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Earthquake, Thunder Punch
Gyrados (level 60) with Hydro Pump, Waterfall, Dragon Rage, Surf
Jolteon (level 60) with Thunder, Thunderbolt, Earthquake, Double Kick
Nidoking (level 60) with Fissure, Earthquake, Horn Drill, Horn Attack
Pigeot (level 60) with Fly, Wing Attack, Mirror Move, Steel Wing
Beedrill (level 60) with Cut, Sludge Bomb, Horn Attack, Twin Needle

I swapped gyrados for blastoise would this be okay?

How do you evolve Eevee to all it's forms in Pokemon Crystal?

For Pokemon Crystal:

To get eevee to evolve to all its forms you will need to breed the eevee you get from Bill in Goldenrod City at the day care center with a ditto. Everytime you get an egg hatch it until you have five or six eevees. The get the elemental stones (thunder, water and fire) and expose each to an eevee to get it to evolve. You'll get Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon

then to get Espeon and Umbreon you need to make them very happy to get them to evolve. To get espeon and umbreon, get an eevee and make it very happy or to make it like you.

You can do this by going to barber everyday, the older one and younger one, use it in a lot of battles try to not get it to faint in battle, give it carbos, protein and etc. All these action will make eevee like you.

Then to get espeon battle and level it up in the DAYTIME. When it is at maximum happiness (you can check with the happiness checker, i think in goldenrod city too), and you level it up in the day time, it will evolve to espeon when it levels up.

to get umbreon do the same thing ie make it really happy but then let it level up at NIGHTTIME

You can't get the other two evolutions in this game only in Diamond and Pearl

My jolteon is lame! I need help, crystal?

YOu could go and catch a Pichu/Pikachu and train it to Raichu. They all learn eectric moves easily.

But you dont actually need electric for Elite 4.

1. Elite Four Members:

a. Will
Pokemon: L40 Xatu, L41 Jynx, L41 Slowbro, L41 Exeggutor, L42 Xatu
Solution: 5 Psychic Pokemon < Ghost/Dark. For alternatives, look at this:
1. 2 Xatus & Slowbro = Ghost/Dark
2. Exeggutor & Jynx = Fire

b. Koga
Pokemon: L40 Ariados, L41 Venomoth, L42 Muk, L43 Forretress, L44 Crobat
Solution: 5 Poioson Pokemon < Psychic. For alternatives:
1. Ariados = Fire/Ice/Ground/Rock
2. Venomoth = Fire/Ice/Rock
3. Muk = Ground
4. Forretress = Fire
5. Crobat = Ice

c. Bruno
Pokemon: L42 Hitmontop, L42 Hitmonlee, L42 Hitmonchan, L43 Onix, L46 Machamp
Solution: 5 Fighting Pokemon < Psychic/Ghost. For alternatives:
1. Hitmontop = Flying
2. Hitmonlee = Flying
3. Hitmonchan = Flying
4. Onix = Water/Ice/Ground
5. Machamp = Flying

d. Karen
Pokemon: L42 Umbreon, L42 Vileplume, L44 Murkrow, L45 Gengar, L47 Houndoom
Solution: (a very tough solution)
1. Umbreon = Fighting
2. Vileplume = Fire/Ice/Flying
3. Murkrow = Ice/Fighting
4. Gengar = Ground/Psychic
5. Houndoom = Water/Ground/Rock/Fighting

2. Lance, the Pokemon League Champion

Lance is the final opponent in the Pokemon League. You should know all
the Pokemon he will use carefully. All Lance's Dragons (except Charizard) have
Hyper Beam with a 150 HP damage and it will knock out your Pokemon. So to be
sure, look carefully at my tips.

a. L44 Gyarados
Solution: Ice/Rock

b. L47 Dragonite
Solution: Ice/Dragon

c. L47 Dragonite
Solution: Ice/Dragon

d. L50 Dragonite
Solution: Ice/Dragon

e. L46 Aerodactyl
Solution: Ice/Water/Rock

f. L46 Charizard
Solution: Water/Rock

What is a good Gyarados moveset in Pokemon Sun / Moon?

There's only one standard Gyarados set.Gyarados Intimidate Jolly/Adamant max Atk Speed Life orb/Impish max HP DEF Rocky Helmet/LeftoverWaterfall, Ice Fang/Roost/Crunch/EQ Thunder wave, Dragon Dance.May it be it Jolly, Adamant or even bulky impish with rocky helmet, this set always works the best. No matter how you do it, the basic 3 moves (Waterfall, Thunder wave and dragon dance) is a must if you wanna juice out the most from your Gyarados.Intimidate cut down Attack, Thunder wave paralyzed the opponent, Dragon dance boost then Waterfall trying to paraflinch. Ice Fang for Dragon types but not essential. You could replace with Roost for HP revival or Crunch if you're going mega. Earthquake is a good coverage move too especially for electric and steel type.Moxie set only works on Scarfed revenge killer. The idea is to revenge kill and hopefully the opponent next pokémon is gonna be weak to your locked move. This is for late battle sweep where those sponge Gyarados attack are taken care of.Gyarados Moxie Jolly Choice ScarfWaterfall, Earthquake, Crunch, Ice FangGyarados is very good but not omnipotent. Best team up with a lightningrod pokémon and something that could sponge a stone edge.

What are the best (5 or 10) Pokemon to fight Metapod, and how long does it take to defeat Metapod?

Metapod is not exactly a challenging pokemon to defeat.A wild Metapod will know one move; Harden. The move raises it’s defense. Metapod is also slow. The easiest strategy is to use a special attacking move. Even if you don’t OHKO it, it’s Harden spam won’t make follow up attacks any weaker.Super effective attacks are also useful. Even a physical move that is super effective can take out Metapod before it can significantly buff it’s defense. In the early game of, say, one of the Kanto games (RBY or FRLG), Charmander would be the best; it has a super effective special move in Ember. You’ll almost certainly be able to KO a Metapod in two hits or so. Squirtle and Pikachu would be the next best; a neutral hitting special move in Water Gun or Thundershock will take it out pretty quickly. Pidgey and Spearow are next; Gust and Peck are super effective and they get STAB with them, but they’re physical moves so Harden will make follow up attacks weaker. Bulbasaur has a special move as well, but it’s not very effective, meaning you’ll take more turns to wear it down. Male Nidoran is probably the 6th best, since it learns Peck but doesn’t get STAB with it. Every other pre first Gym Pokemon is going to be stuck with a physical move that is at best a neutral hit, which means the Metapod will likely get off several Hardens and drag the battle out for many turns.
