Right now is very accepted and very popular among young's and older listeners. Previously was not the case, we are talking perhaps ten years ago, was consideren a low class type of music mostly listen in the country side and bars (bars in the 80’s were considered a low life kind of place).Thanks to artist like Juan Luis Guerra and Aventura they helped introduce this music to younger audiences and has become very popular.Sensual bachata has always been there, in fact is just Bachata, If Im not mistaken this term has just taken popularity internationally.
