Is Kony A Christian Terrorist

Is there such thing as a Christian extremist?

Ku Klux Klan, anyone? From Christian terrorism: After the American Civil War of 1861–1865, members of the Protestant-led Ku Klux Klan (KKK) organization began engaging in arson, beatings, destruction of property, lynching, murder, rape, tar-and-feathering, whipping and intimidation via such means as cross burning. They targeted African Americans, Jews, Catholics, and other social or ethnic minorities.Klan members had an explicitly Christian terrorist ideology, basing their beliefs in part on a "religious foundation" in Christianity. The goals of the KKK included, from an early time onward, an intent to "reestablish Protestant Christian values in America by any means possible"There's also the Army of God, a Christian extremist group that is responsible for bombing abortion clinics in the 80s and is associated with murders of some doctors who provide abortion services.I'm a Christian, and I have observed that Christians tend to be pretty defensive whenever others point out that there are groups that use violence using the name of Christ. They are quick to point out that they are No True Christians but members of isolated cults. Ironically these people also eagerly associate acts of muslim extremists to be a systematic part of Islam. The logic really escapes me.I'm not here to put down my religion, but to answer the question in all frankness and honesty. Yes, Christians are just as capable of violence as any other. They may use fundamentalist fervor and interpret scripture to suit their violent agenda. They give Christianity a bad name. But there's no use denying that they do exist. May we not be historical revisionists.P.S. I'm also thinking of adding Crusades to this -- which was a religious campaign as much as a military one. Seems to me the difference between a terrorist and a conqueror is merely who has hegemony.

Why do Christians get attacked more than Islam? When Islam commits atrocious acts of terror in the name of?
