Is Manipal A Better Institute Or Vitee For Engg

Which is better vit or manipal?

manipal is better than vit.. manipal has better infrastructure, facilities etc.. i saw many ppl regretting after joining vit.. they tell except campus nothing is good.. dono how they got those accreditations..
only diff is cost.. manipal is costlier.. and with 139 u will definitely get a good branch!! and regarding placements manipal has higher rank and in most of the private universities they take only handful of students i.e. i mean only toppers.. so study hard.. they select students more from iits and nits...

Between Manipal and VITEEE, which college is better and in which branch? My marks in Manipal are 146/200 and my VITEEE rank is 14,000.

By my opinion you should go for vit as1- vit has excellent faculty2-exellent placement record3- have good nirf ranking of around 19–204- you get your own timetable to set5- with an international network of alumani

Which college is better, VITEEE or Manipal University?

This is Surely comparing Chalk and Cheese.MIT was founded in 1957. VIT in 1984.Period!Both are privately run institutes and I wouldn't like to get into how the Admission process is run. MIT is better than VIT even in that.MIT has a more student friendly culture, VIT surely isn't that friendly. This article would do justice to that What happened to Spandana Cheruvu? Did she come back to college again? What was VIT management's final descision?MIT has much more courses on offer, VIT has much more seats.MIT has Aeronautical and Architecture and few other courses, VIT is more conservative and has the departments that most students seek.MIT sure has better Masters and Post Graduation Programs.Geographically Manipal is better, VIT=Heat most of the Year.Access wise Vellore is way more well connected, 100 odd Kms to Chennai,200+ Kms to Bangalore and hence reach any other place soon. VIT now has a Chennai Campus which typically an extension of Vellore. The Placement numbers don't really matter but this sure does.MIT's Notable alumniSatya Nadella, CEO of MicrosoftRajeev Suri, CEO of NokiaSumant Mandal, CEO of Clearstone Venture Partners; board member, Rubicon ProjectBanmali Agrawala, CEO and President, GE South AsiaAnant J Talaulicar, President and CEO, Cummins India LtdAshok Krishnamurthy, former VP, Juniper Networks; Founder and CEO, Xsigo Systems (now a subsidiary of Oracle)Arun Shenoy, Grammy award nominated musician.Pankaj Oswal, Indian-Australian businessman, Chairman and CEO of Burrup Holdings.Anup Paul, CEO of Varian Inc. Which one is better: VIT Vellore, SRM or Manipal for chemical engineering?

I would say SRM, because it has better faculties and scope for research. And more over chemical is a course that students take out of interest, like they always have an option to opt for anything other than chemical during counselling.Taking chemical in SRM is the wisest decision one would make. As the faculties for chemical are extremely helpful and highly qualified.Plus the current batch of chemical engineering has only around 140–150 students. This makes sure that you get more one to one attention and the teachers handling the core subject are highly qualified.I'm in the first year and in the first sem I had my core, that is material technology. And my faculty made the subject very interesting which made us all love chemical engineering even more.Plus about placements, you ll get decent placements provided u have a good GPA and crack the interview.Plus SRM gives u not only scope in education but also gives u something memorable for life. It has good infrastructure and has a good environment to study.

Whose entrance exam is toughest, SRM, VIT, or Manipal?

I have appeared and cleared all of these (in 2018) so this makes me eligible to answer thisWell from my point of view all the entrances u mentioned are quite easy as compared to other entrances like BITS and JEE Main. One of the reason for it being all these 3 exams have a “ No negative marking” system. SRMJEE did have a negative marking system till 2017 but from 2018 SRM also went up with the no negative marking schemeComing to the difficulty level for me it was VITEEE> Manipal> SRMJEEReasons: 1) VITEEE does ask you conceptual and easy questions as compared to JEE Main but the questions comparatively are mind triggering and time consuming as compared to Manipal n SRMJEE. There is also a section for English u need to be prepared for that too. Though if you are good at conceptual stuff and your foundation is strong enough VITEEE may seem like eating a piece of cake!! Though ranking system here is a bit different. Kind of percentile type. That's not a thing to worry! (My VITEEE rank was 36,210 and I was getting Mechanical at VIT Vellore in the last rounds and yes definitely all the other branches except CS n EnTC right fom round 1)2) Moving to Manipal entrance well thats really way too easy than the other two. The level of difficulty of questions is easier than VITEEE and also SRMJEE, even then i placed it on second most difficult between these 3 because of only one reason and that's the time limit! Well according to me it's not fair enough.! But yes considering the fact that the questions are comparatively easy one can deal with it! Also Manipal allows u to give 3 attempts for the entrance. (My Manipal Entrance rank was 7,424 and according to that i was eligible to go for Mechanical/Mechatronics @ MIT Manipal . I didnt go for further attempts)3) SRMJEE by all means seems a student pleasing exam. Easy concept based questions (though slightly tough than Manipal), no negative marking and pretty much fair time allotted served for the purpose! It is also kind of every year is conducted after Manipal n VIT so u also get ample of time for your preparation! (My SRMJEE rank was 3,420 and i was getting CS Engineering at its main campus)Note: Do prepare all your Theory and concepts well for all these exams! The application part may seem quite basic if you are well prepared!!All the best!!Hope this Helps!!!(All counter opinions r welcome)
