Is Minecraft Worth It

Is minecraft worth the 26.95$ usd or...?

Yes, definitely worth it. It's extremely addictive though, so be warned. :)

Is minecraft worth it?

just pay once. it's only worth it if you enjoy sandbox games and you consider yourself a creative being, as the game is only as limited as the things you try and build.

Is Minecraft worth $27?

Yea, It's a lot better than the other games out there and best of all it's a one time pay instead of that monthly crap which is sometimes around the same price as the full game of Minecraft. You should buy it and also it is $26.95, $3 less than what you've posted :P

Would it be worth it to start a Minecraft server?

Before I begin, let me state that I used to run a somewhat-popular Minecraft server back in 2014.Your question is kind of complicated to answer since what people want from servers can vary greatly. Back when Minecraft was at its height, people mainly played on single-player worlds, only using servers for social gatherings. However, nowadays, especially after the Microsoft Buyout and all of the changes they’ve made to the game, many Minecraft players now play almost exclusively on servers. Now, if you want to run a server, you need:Dedication: Running a Minecraft server can become time-consuming, especially if it gets off the ground and becomes incredibly popular. Some larger servers actually bring on staff to help run the server, paying them using money donated by players. You have to be willing to invest the time and energy into building the server up and getting it configured the way you want, to suit what you want it to have. Trust me, before my server closed its doors, it took a lot of time and energy for my staff and I to keep the server running smoothly. We were a small team of only ten people, ten people to moderate, administer, and configure a server that had an average daily player count of over 100 players…A Basic Understanding of How Minecraft Works: Servers can be complicated, and the convoluted process Mojang has for creating them by yourself certainly doesn’t help… You could go around this problem by going to a dedicated hosting company, but that costs money. Things get even more complicated if you decide to start adding Bukkit plugins, and things get even worse if you decide to add mods. Going into building a server without any real knowledge on the matter can lead to an unstable and fragmented server with no real purpose, theme, or guidance.A Creative Mind: Again, this ties back into servers that have no real theme or purpose. If you plan on making a server for the world to play on, make sure it has some kind of theme. Add adventures, mini-games, places for players to build and be creative (We had creative plots on our server) and try to promote an environment that favours having fun over anything else.In the end, if you want to start a server, I recommend it. Running my server might’ve been time-consuming and exhausting, but it was worth it to see other people enjoying the fruits of our labour. Just remember that servers get harder to manage as more players join. :)

Is the PS3 version of Minecraft worth the buy?

This is a very subjective question.  If you have played minecraft on other platforms and haven't tired of it, then it is basically the same as the other platforms (with the exception of the pocket edition, which is limited).  I'm not aware of anything in the PS3 version that isn't available in other console versions.  If you have never played minecraft, well, it is a great game but it isn't for everyone.  I'd suggest you read some reviews or play the demo version on the PC to see if you like it.Minecraft Demo
