Is Mixing Coffee And Zzzquill Dangerous

Can I take ZzzQuil and Sudafed together?

if you are not a hypertension patient then yes, a combination of them is a traditional therapy protocol for cold, but zzzquil will cause you dizziness so you’re not to drive or operate dangerous machines while taking it BUT there are better ways to treat cold if that is why you’re in need for them..try taking a lemon ginger tea several times a day while staying in bed, you’ll feel better the next day.

What happens if you mix nyquil with coffee?

Depends on weither the coffee has caffine in it or not. If not nothing will happen. If there is caffine in the coffee, it could be bad. The caffine in the coffee and the dextromethorphan hydrobromide in the NyQuil will counter effect each other. That can create dangerous heart iregularities. If they get bad the heart could stop all togather. It would be the same as redbull and vodka.

Is it safe to take Sudafed and Zzzquil together?

I have a bad cold with nasal congestion, so I took "12 hour Sudafed" about 6 hours ago. It's now time for bed, but I'm having trouble sleeping. Would it be okay to take Zzzquil (which is the same thing as Benadryl) and Sudafed together?

Oksy to take ZzzQuil after drinking coffee?

You'll be fine. Only if you do this frequently (Use a stimulant to wake up, then use a depressant to go to sleep) will nerve problems start to occur. Like consistently for months type frequently.

Enjoy your medically induced sleep :)

Is it bad to take hydroxycut and zzzquil?

yeah, dont do that... that stuff doesnt work and will only make you crazy.
If your looking for something to help you with weight loss then there are better ways to do it.
L-carnitine and fish oil - these help maintain a healthy metabolism and support your bodies natural fat burning process, both are natural supplements, very safe and wont interfere with any medications your taking or make you crazy.
Vitamine B complex - the B vitamins are know as a great source of natural energy which is why you see them listed alot of times in energy drinks and energy shots. but those also come with loads of sugar, caffein and other crap you dont want. So to get the benifit without the jitters then just get the Bs. Its available in pill form or liquid drops. I like to take the drops as a quick pre-workout energy boost to make sure i dont lag.
and to help with your insomnia, just workout! seriously..im an insomniac myself and its the only thing that really helps me sleep like a normal person.

What would happen if I mix zzzquil with alcohol?

You would be drunk and asleep. It wouldnt do anything, I did it before. Waste of money. You ever try smoking the alcohol? Put some in a bottle with a cork like a wine bottle, Get a hand air pump with a needle like when u put air in a basketball. Poke the needle in the cork and start pumping. then inhale the smoke created and you will be instantly drunk. Dont do too much or you can die but it is awesome.

How effective is ZzzQuil?

It is very effective. I use ZzQuil on an as-needed basis as a sleep aid and I highly advise of the following suggestions:Allow several extra hours more than your normal sleep time. If you normally sleep about 8 hours, plan to oversleep. Do not expect to arise at your normal or usual time because it knocks you out.Give it time to work. It is not instantaneous. Plan on at least 1 hour or more before you start to feel its effects and *yawn* feel sleepy.Although different, it is comparable to Advil/Tylenol PM (and et cetera) but it is not as effective in treating headache pain/migraines as those are.For me personally, it “works” relative to how your body digests it. Therefore, your food intake, sleep history and your entire day all affect how it will work when you do take it.Be prepared that it can have little or no effect at all because of other factors, such as too much caffeine or stress. Most importantly—start with one capsule your first time. If you have never taken a sleep aid before, I wouldn’t recommend taking two at once because you do not know how it will affect you right off the bat.Like all drugs, it takes time to get used to introducing anything new into your body.Zzquil, like any other OTC, effects each person uniquely and differently. But, it does basically the same thing and it delivers on its promise when I have used it.As a side note, I love the commercials for it.

Can I take NyQuil pills with caffeine pills?

There are quite a few NyQuil formulations, each of them containing an antihistamine drug - mostly doxylamine, but also other things (anti-inflammatory drugs, cough suppressants, decongestants). None of these is neutral to your health, so you should not take the compound drug only for its sedative effects. You could try ZzzQuil (diphenhydramine, Benadryl), if you really must. This being said, chasing caffeine with sleeping pills is a bad idea. Which one will prevail (the stimulating effect of caffeine or sedating effect of the antihistamine) is dependent on the doses, time between administration and your metabolism. In either case, your sleep will most probably not be restful and you will feel quite bad on the other day.Health-wise, once or twice, you will be fine. With a prolonged use, you will be causing irreversible damage to your kidneys, liver… not to mention messing up your brain chemistry. Use of sleep pills will very likely cause certain degree of dependency, which will necessitate taking sleep aids, thus further decreasing quality of your sleep.Instead of going through your medicine cabinet, you could try if natural ways of keeping awake would not suffice:Keeping hydratedKeeping cool (warm, snuggly environment will put you to sleep)Taking frequent breaks in which you move vigorouslyHave something to stimulate your senses (taste: something to munch on or a chewing gum; hearing: some music, perhaps some talk radio).Take a cool showerThis should keep you up for a while. A few hours past a regular bedtime does not call for rolling out heavy guns…

If you were to drink caffeine and taking sleeping pills, would they cancel each other out?

Many people with sleep problems, chronic distress, and low energy end up taking stimulants in the morning and then canceling these out with sedatives and sleep aids at night. Theoretically, this can work, depending on what exactly you're taking and the duration of this regimen. Caffeine is an adenosine antagonist, so it briefly promotes wakefulness by blocking this sleep-promoting peptide in your brain. But it also causes the release of stress hormones, some of which are fairly long lasting (such as cortisol). Common pseudo/sedatives like benadryl, zolpidem, clonazepam, and risperidone work via different mechanisms that may or may not exactly oppose caffeine effects. In any case, sedatives and tranquilizers don't actually promote normal sleep, so these drugs aren't a good long term solution for the vast majority of people. Depending on what you're taking, you'll probably be just fine if your treatment is under medical supervision.Clearly, this is far from an ideal solution, for a variety of reasons touched on by other commentators. It really pays to commit to your own health and wellbeing. I hope you find the answer and relief you are seeking.
