My orthodontist is rude to me?
Basically I have been visiting her ever since she told me I needed braces. I'm only a teen 17, and yesterday she was putting spacers in my back teeth and I didn't understand why so I asked her what they so she just stopped what she was doing and looked at me with 10 heads and said you don't need to know google it! I just didn't answer and let her do her thing. I taught that was very very rude there's always other things to like I talked over her once and she said your not listening listen to me. I trys to be nice to her and her assistant thinks she is the queen when all she does is assist her and she always stares at me.
My orthodontist yells at me?
I don't wear my retainer or rubber bands as much as I should. I dread going to my orthodontist appointments because my orthodontist yells at me for at least 10 minutes and I have major anxiety so going to the appointment stresses me out. I have one today and I'm very nervous to get yelled at once again.
Orthodontist was really rude to me?
its an orthodontist thing, they can get rude, when i had braces they guy i was seeing was a bit rude, but dont put up with their ****, do the same thing back, dont get upset. try saying well miss, i pay thousand and thousands of dollars for my braces, and i EXPECT a good result i want them STRAIGHT and ill settle for no less. and " I dont care, My bite isnt right And you WILL fix it, You get paid for Making MY teeth STRAIGHTt, and there NOT straight, so YOU will MAKE them STRAIGHT! some people get rude when they feel guilty because they know your right and their not do not put up with it, you probably young, and they get like that. when she says its time to take them off and you know their not straight. if your lying down with your mouth open and her fingers in them immediately close your mouth, get her hands away from your mouth with your hands. and sit up on chair looking at her. and say " I dont except My braces getting taken off yet, there NOT straight, and I will keep paying you money that i usually do untill they are Straight. and say Do you understand? you have evrey right, and she is not doing her job correctly!
My Orthodontist was really rude to me?
We'll we cancelled an appointment because my mom has cancer and we had to fly to the city a day before the appointment and they kept us over night. Then, a month later I went to visit the orthodontist and he didn't smile or ask me how I was, he was being to rough on my gums that he made it bleed a bit. The nurses was making jokes about how my mom had to call a soonerride to take us there because we aren't the richest people... Then while we was leaving a nurse said that my mom needs to take me to get my braces tightened more and stop "cancelling whenever" and it made my mom cry because she's really trying to make the best for me but her sickness is slowing her down. We paid a lot to get my braces on and they treat us very badly. Do we report them? Or do we just ask them to be a bit kinder?
How do I talk to my orthodontist when he yells at me?
I'm going to the ortho because my last retainer that I never wore (back when I was in high school) no longer fits and I want a new one that fits my "new" smile, even though secretly I just want my old smile back! Anyway, I know my ortho is going to yell at me for not wearing my old retainer YEARS ago. What do I say so that he can put that aside and make me the new one?

throw it right back at him...maybe he just has a "different" sense of humor. i have been to some mean *** dentists before and i let them know how i feel but of course i didn't have to go back there again... good luck with dr. meanie.
A bracket on my braces pooped off. I'm scared to tell my orthodontics! What do i do?
It has happen twice already and he got very angry and upset and I had to go back and get it put back on. He even yelled at me about eating certain hard foods. I'm scared to tell him cause i know he will flip and yell at me. What should i do?? Can I glue it back on myself?? :'(
I was tricked in a third world country and now I've had my braces on for four years?
I was not supposed to have them on for four years. when I came to the U.S they kept on making me waiting. It's been a year now and I still have the braces on and still waiting for my appointment which is more than a month from now. I'm really tired of the braces. My teeth are still not fixed yet. Should I just take them off? Does it harm your teeth to have braces on for so long? I can't even speak or laugh right anymore. Should I take them off now? Four years! can you imagine?
4th month of getting braces and regretting it: face seems sunken?
I'm starting to regret getting braces... I had a slight overbite and also some crowding on lower jaw. So far I have had 1 tooth extracted from the lower jaw, which seems to be fixing the crowding, but the problem is, my face looks sunken now compared to my before-braces pictures. The gap between my nose and upper lip became larger and makes me look older, my thin lips got even thinner, and there seems to be increased furrowing around my nose and cheeks. I think it's because my upper teeth are pushed further back despite my having a small jaw all along. What should I do? If I stop the treatment after my lower jaw crowding is fixed, would that cause further problems on my bite? My orthodontist initially said I would need to have four teeth extracted, but I'm seriously doubting it now. Also is there a chance my upper teeth would move back to its original position if I just don't wear a retainer after?
