Is Obama Going To Force Red States Like Florida To Set Up Obamacare Registration Sites So People

If Obama did a good job as President, why did Hillary lose?

What if Obama wasn’t such a good president as many seem to assert?Let me point out that when he was elected, Obama was supposed to be the opposite of George W. Bush.Instead, we saw a President that:Increased inequality and in many cases, signed legislation that increased inequality.Had a cabinet selected by Citigroup.Refused to persecute Wall Street executives for the 2008 Crisis.Did not reinstate Glass-Steagall nor pass anything more than Dodd-Frank, which overlooked too many issues.Chose to write a debilitating healthcare system that even today bitterly divides Americans nicknamed Obamacare, instead of trying to copy say, the Canadian healthcare system or at least trying to implement a serious public option.Largely continued the wars of Bush and started new ones, in Libya for example, while “surging” in Afghanistan.Did not address the fundamental problem of Washington, which is political corruption.Had a pro-austerity budget and made no attempts after the first partial stimulus.Waged a war on whistleblowers that was unprecedented.Did not mobilize his base in an attempt to address the very issues that he ran to fix. He could have used his base to try to overcome an obstructionist GOP. There was a ton of goodwill after his election. He chose to throw it away.I don’t think that Obama will be well regarded. IN fact, I suspect that he will be compared to James Buchanan, who was facing a profound crisis and made a bad situation worse. There’s a reason why Bernie Sanders gained so much popularity. It was because Obama had not delivered the Change that we so pushed in 2008. There’s a reason why Clinton’s attempt to say that she was Obama’s third term failed to generate excitement.Combine that with Clinton’s poor campaigning skills and the Democratic National Committee’s unethical sabotage of Bernie Sanders, then you have Trump.

Why is Obamacare working at reducing healthcare costs?

From your link.

"U.S. health care inflation started easing about a decade ago, then slowed sharply once the recession hit, reflecting a retrenchment of the broader economy. While medical costs started to pick up early in the recovery, they have eased further since the middle of last year."

Caused by the recession, so I guess we can credit Obama for keeping us in a recession so long that medical cost went down.

Closed Primaries Unconstitutional?

If we have the right to vote for anybody we please, then why do we have closed primaries? Is it unconstitutional to force Republicans to vote only for Republicans and vice versa? Should we entirely get rid of them or do they serve a different purpose?

On another note, I had a discussion with my AFJROTC instructor and I was wondering if this was true; during the Presidential Elections, do they really separate people based on their political views? If so, do you believe that that is in some way segregation? Let me know what you think.

Which Western democracy should an American conservative move to if they are afraid of Obama's policies and want to move somewhere more in line with Republican ideals? Do any western democracies have constitutional guarantees for gun ownership?

Oh, dear.  The answers here are discouraging, aren't they?  The prosperous Western democracies (Canada, Western Europe and the Nordics, Australia, New Zealand) regard Conservatives fleeing liberalism in the US about the same way US conservatives view Colombians fleeing drug cartels:  we would be a drain on their taxpayers and we would subvert their culture.  For information on life for expatriates (Thanks, Karin Zeitvogel, for the correction) in countries all around the world, check out Expat Forum For People Moving Overseas And Expats Living Abroad .  This isn't just for expats from the US, so many of the posts will be from, e.g., Brits living in France or Spain.  But you can pick a country that sounds good to you and then read lots of comments.Your best chance of acceptance may be in Latin America.  Pick up a copy of Where to Retire magazine and you'll find ads for retirement communities in the US and in other countries.  The last time I looked, Panama was especially courting US retirees.Juan Carlos Varela has been president of Panama since 1 July, 2014.  I couldn't find much about his politics, but he went to Georgia Institute of Technology, got a B.S. in industrial engineering, was on the board of Varela Hermanos, a family company, and has a wife and three children.  That's all good, right?  And the structure of Panama's government (see the Wikipedia article, Politics of Panama) is similar to that of the US.

Why do so many Brits hate Libertarians and the American second amendment?

@geordie but you dont need guns to rape, kill, or to do a robbery. Also most of the ganstas in the USA are Mexican and Central American illegals. They came here illegally. I dont mind immigrants but atleast they should follow the laws.

also Geordie if you are a student of history you will realize that govt do go corrupt and kill people like in Chile, or in Argentina. The USA has a evil govt, that has killed over 1 million Iraqis, imprisoned millions for posesion of ganja. Know the US govt has legalized torture without warrant. That does violate the constitution but Obama does not care.

Guess what it will come to the UK as well. The UK will turn into a sadistic police state like the USA. But even worse cause UK is more densely populated than the USA.
