Is Obamacare The Only Reason Most Of The New Jobs Are Non-fulfilling Part-time Jobs

What are Examples of "Job Killing Regulations"?

"Douglas Elmendorf, Director of the Congressional Budget Office, said in February of 2011 that Obamacare could cost 800,000 jobs. Recently, the Federal Reserve has stated that Obamacare is the reason for thousands of "planned layoffs."

On March 6, The Hill reported, "The Federal Reserve on Wednesday released an edition of its so-called ‘beige book,’ that said the 2010 healthcare law is being cited as a reason for layoffs and a slowdown in hiring."

That same day, The Hill also said, "Higher healthcare costs were also reported in the districts of Chicago, and the Kansas City district reported ‘changes in health care policy and fiscal uncertainty as reasons for delayed hiring.'"

In its own report, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors noted:
•"Employers in several Districts cited the unknown effects of the Affordable Care Act as reasons for planned layoffs and reluctance to hire more staff."
•"Fifth District—Richmond: Employers across the District continued to cite the Affordable Care Act and its unknown impacts as reasons for planned layoffs and reluctance to hire more staff."
•"Eleventh District—Dallas: Outlooks were cautious. Some contacts noted concern that client companies are hiring the absolute minimum to get by due to uncertainty about the Affordable Care Act."

Further, several companies have announced that Obamacare is causing them to plan layoffs. Medical giant Styker announced it is cutting 1,170 jobs due to Obamacare. Medical device maker Welch Allyn also announced job cuts.

Sadly, one restauranteur in Virginia has reported that he may lose his entire chain of Dunkin' Donuts because of Obamacare's onerous requirements."

Is the Obamacare causing us to be a Part Time nation?

If the business DOESN’T provide health insurance, its annual penalty equals {the total number of Full Time employees in the firm (subsidized and unsubsidized) minus 30} x {$2,000}. The 50-employee firm owes $40,000.
(50-30) x $2,000.

Depends on which historians you listen to and which facts they cherry-pick. Conservative historians will no doubt note the rising premiums, as if they would not have risen anyway. They will also pretend, as you seem to, that the system was fine before Obama was elected. Liberal historians will note that some 37 million people who never had health insurance got it, and many of them got it free or almost free. Progressive historians will note that the only real answer that would have worked was a single-payer plan, similar to those that every other Western democracy has. But Congress wouldn’t go for that.Me, I’ll say this about him. He TRIED. The GOP stonewalled Obamacare, fear-mongered with BS about “death panels,” blocked every single attempt to broaden coverage with a “public option” and did everything they could to keep the $$$ in the system, to the exclusion of genuine care itself. History, unless current trends change, will be written from an America that is dead last among democracies in health care and paying triple what other countries pay (currently we pay double). I hope history will at least note that Obama, unlike the carpers and complainers and deniers, TRIED to help people.

Should I be mad at Obama for my job not scheduling people over 28 hours because of affordable care act?

That is something employers have been doing for years & years. Jobs kept an hour or two under the requirement for including benefits & also labeling a position as 'seasonal or temporary' is a way to avoid providing job benefits. Some people work 'seasonal temporary' 5 days a week for decades, as if that makes any sense, but it has been legal & they never get benefits.

Obamacare hasn't even been enacted in practice yet, for pete's sake.

Why are the republicans so mean to Obama, espeically about Obamacare?

"Health care should not be a "profit" making business."
If health care wasn't a profit-making business, there would be no health care. Doctors have to go to school for eight years, then spend two-five years working long hours for little pay as an intern in emergency room. Nurses have to go to school for four years, and again, work long hours for much longer and get lower pay. Without the knowledge that they will be paid well for their hard work, I doubt most would stick with it. After all, if you want to just help people, there are easier career paths. Pharma and medical technology companies have to spend huge amounts in R&D just to develop the next big drug, surgical procedure, or medical equipment. If they didn't have the ability to make money from those innovations, they will stop where they are and we won't have the cure for cancer or brain injuries.

You want to fix health care? Get rid of medical insurance altogether. Doctors would go back to charging a nominal fee for visits. Sure, it might be more than the current co-pay, but when you factor in not paying monthly premiums, you would save a lot more. If you paid for it, instead of the HMO, you would take more concern in how healthy you are.
