Is Private School Fun

Is a private school better than a public school?

In most cases yes (if you choose the right pvt school).

Some public schools are ok. But most of them....
you know

Is public school more fun than private?

i went to a private school for my freshman year, i hated it so much, it was all girls and they just sat there and gossiped. im now going to a public highschool and i love it, it feels like a big family kind of weird but everyone gets along. everyone knows everyone and there is almost never a fight, in each class i always have five or eight friends to hang comfrontably around. There is alot more partys too and our teachers arent so strict but for the most part we all get good grades, if your in a sport it makes you like ten times more popular to, exspecially when your really good at it! Public schools!

Which one is more fun, public school or private school?

It depends.I think this question is far too personal if you’re looking for a definite answer. Not only that, you have to take into consideration the location of the school and what the community around it has to offer. I could go over some long explaination but instead I’d like to offer a list of individual factors you should evaluate instead of just “public or private”.Location (Where the school is itself)Nearby Entertainment (What the surrounding area has to offer)School Programs (What does the school do to create on-campus entertainment?)School Rules (Some schools could be more strict when it comes to dorm activities)Student Involvement (What extra programs does the school have that you take interest in? Service? Games? Academic Clubs? There are many options)Community (What kind of vibe does the schools community give you? Does it seem like a fun place to be?)Academics (Don’t get me wrong, this can really change your school experience. What kinds of classes do you like? Lectures? Seminar?)You (No really. What about you? Just because reviews say the school is fun doesn’t mean it’s fun for everyone)That’s it I guess. I can’t really answer the question because there is too much to consider and I’ve never attended a public school as a university student. That’s why I gave you the list, this is really an opinion for you to generate based on your own beliefs and feelings.

Public school, private school, or home school for my high-school years?

No Answer is going to be a "one size fits all".

I'm assuming that you have some reason for wanting something different than your current schooling situation. What are you looking for? Are you looking for freedom to pursue your own education and set a course to a specific goal? Are you unhappy with the school environment you have? What do your parents want you to do? Are they willing to make a change? If you would choose home education, are your parents willing to oversee your educational process and progress, to help you reach your goals?

Actually, there are actually more options in some states. Government (Public), Private, Home Education, online cyber, charter and magnet/charter schools.

Every option has pros and cons, I would suggest writing a pro/con column on a piece of paper, for each option and weigh the benefits against the drawbacks. Like most decisions, yours must be made on the basis of desired outcome, resources (money), willingness to put in effort & time and your family's needs and wants.

For more information regarding home education, because the requirements vary from state to state, see HSLDA.org. They offer a short briefing of the requirements of each state & what your parents would need to do to legally home educate you.

Sometimes home educators must be a little more creative to find resouces to meet wants and needs: ie: sports teams, debate teams, social opportunities (Christmas dance/Prom, etc.) However, many homeschool groups exist for just these reasons, to provide opportunities for such experiences. Community resources abound, but sometimes take effort to find.

Many "homeschoolers" in PA take dual courses at local community colleges, etc., and take private lessons/classes, etc.

Home education has been great for our family. We are in our 11th year of home education. It has been a wonderful journey, but, it is a path that not everyone desires, has the ability nor interest in following. Home education provides much freedom, and also much responsibility.

Best wishes.

Talk to you parents and examine your own heart and feelings.

Is private school a good experience?

For me, it has been an amazing experience.I went to a public school before, and I was scared to death when I learned that I was moving to a different school (I’ve never been comfortable with change, but I can manage).I go to a Catholic private school, but it’s no posh closed society.Kids of other religions, and no religions like me, are allowed to go. They don’t care.We all come from very different backgrounds, and none of us are of overly rich families. We aren’t all straight A’s.People are very open-minded. Take that from me, a transgender person, thriving with correct pronouns and name. Heck, my classmates will correct anyone who dare call me otherwise. So for me, going to a private has definitely been for the better.

Is highschool fun?

Highschool is soooo much better. Everyone is mature and the teachers are actually cool. Fun? You have to make it fun. Overall its pretty fun, to me at least. The work activities, chilling with friends, dances, homecoming, prom, football games...yeah its the life ;)

Why isn't school fun?

Imagine this, a young child bouncing with enthusiasm and curiosity ready for their first day of school. They enter the “hallowed” halls of the next 13 years of their lives and proceed to get the love to learn beaten out of them. The education system in at least the United States are designed to create robots. To learn how to pass a test, to just do what you need to know. It doesn’t foster a love of learning, a passion for subjects and a want to do better and to better yourself simply for the sake of learning, not to pass a test or get a good grade. The system is so bent on instilling that the idea of failure means you’ve failed at life. Failing at something doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you have a chance at success. Every time you fail take it as a challenge to better yourself. Trust me, I’m close to failing chem and math but I am not giving up. I am taking it as a challenge to my intelligence, I know I am better than this and I won’t let a bad semester determine the rest of the year. AP classes and classes that are geared towards you passing a test isn’t giving you that love for the subject. Teachers often skip chapters because it “won’t be on the test.”School isn’t fun because they’re making it not fun. I have the privilege of attending a private school that rejects the normal education system but for 95% of kids in the public education system they are getting the love of learning beaten out of them. Simple as that.
