What is a good name for a girl and a good name for a boy?

Whatever name you ultimately decide on please, please for the sake of your little one, don't give her/him a name that the kids she/he grows up with could ridicule or make fun of. Perhaps unintentionally, children can be very vicious in this respect. I've seen this happen with kids that went to school with my boys.

Yes, many parents would like to give their kids an exotic sounding name but I urge you to think how that would affect your kid's psyche. I think that an unpretentious name yet something classy, would be greatly appreciated by your child as she/he grows up and develops.

The Bible for example, has a wealth of great Judeo-Christian names that would admirably fit into our American culture/society. So cutting to the chase, my own preference would be the following:
For a girl: LEAH or RUTH or MARY
For a boy: ISAAC or DANIEL or JOSHUA.

I have two sons myself – the elder is MICHAEL (named after my father), the younger DANIEL. I did not have a little girl but if I had one, I would have named her Leah.

So I wish you a safe, healthy pregnancy and may your little one truly bring you great joy and happiness. Cheers!

I think a lot of Norwegian and Swedish names sound strong, but I may well just be projecting what I know about the stalwart nature of lots of people I know from such Northern European countries.I saw these on a list, so I can't claim they all just sprang to mind! But I do like some of them a lot (I think I've kept their links intact). Birkita is Celtic and means strong; Valeria is Latin and means "Brave."  Allona is Hebrew and means "strong as an oak." I sort of love the name Birkita.BriannaBridgetBirkitaKarlaNinaChriseldaGittaAllonaIsaValeriaBritaOh, and I have a dear (female) friend named Colby, which is the coolest name ever because it's kind of gender-neutral, so she always got the interview (and usually locked the job, too).

Hi there!I’ve been blogging for a year now and I thought I could address your question. To start with, I think screaming into the void for a girl’s blog name would not really do you any good. ‘A girl’s blog’ sounds generic - like, are you going to talk about a girl’s experience/a girl’s perspective towards things/a girl’s interests/a girl’s ideologies/a girl’s journey/others?Likewise, a lot of factors come into play and in order to name your blog properly, you could consider the following points -Express who you are:Personally, I feel one’s blog’s name can carry the blogger’s pseudonym or an alias if you could call it. It helps create an identity for yourself and your readers tend to associate the things that you convey in your blog with the fictitious name. It helps give you a sense of liberty to properly articulate what you have in mind, in your blog.Express your goals:Your other option could be to mention what you’re trying to deliver. In other words, it’s a brief description of what the takeaway is for your readers from your blogs.Or you could do mix-and-match:Let’s assume that your pseudonym is ‘Miss. Trippy’ and your goal is to enlighten your readers on your ‘globetrots’ - you could call your blog ‘Miss Trippy’s globetrots’.Welcome to the world of blogging! Hope you have a great time!

I need a good super-hero name for a girl....?

somewhat a mouthful, "Butterfly Knight"--be waiting for nicknames: Knight, or Butterfly (that could desire to be an insult, too). Makes me think of of Squirrel female... additionally it would be meditated interior the gown. If he did no longer draw the character with wings, i might bypass the butterfly area except you have a time-honored sort. the place is she from? a diverse planet than the different characters? He could make up something--an animal, to illustrate--which may be from her international in straightforward terms. Catsblade (additionally no longer very sturdy, i will admit) Black Knife (or blue or gray) Lioness Monarch Shadowcat, Catseye, Hellcat, Catwoman, & White Tiger are all taken, as is Dagger. (darn!)
